Really loved the hot tub and the scenery. The numbers on the mailbox are faded or missing so finding the house the first time took some time.

The house was gorgeous and well located right on the Tennessee River about 35 minutes from Chattanooga. Really close to some amazing hiking trails. Our host was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The house was amazing. It’s right on the river with a beautiful view. Everything was clean and just as described. The hosts were great at communicating and checked in throughout. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent host! Made sure we had everything throughout our stay. House was just as pictured and has everything you needed and more. Very clean and enjoyed the hot tub. Home is way way off the beaten path. Just to get back into town was a 21 mile ride on horrible narrow mountain road that has several pot holes and will beat you to death . The driveway to the home is VERY steep and scary! Did not realize that when renting. Only thing referenced was steep walkway to dock. If raining or ice or snow it could be dangerous. Leaving 5 star for the home, cleanliness and host!

Everything was fantastic! The house was immaculate, the view was spectacular, and the amenities were perfect for all occasions! Communication was also great especially with the on coming stormy weather. The only downfall, but it isn't really a downfall, is the hike (it's not really a hike ... But might as well be!) to the water is STEEP, steeper then in the pictures! The benefit is once you go down you want to stay down, so there isn't a back and forth, but it is so worth it. Would do this house again in a heart beat, but next time will be int the summer so we can enjoy some of the water activities!!!!

The place was adorable and super clean. Communication with the host was great, they ensured we had everything we needed. The only thing I can say that we had trouble with was the very steep sidewalk to the dock. I did not realize from the pictures how long and very steep it was. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay!

This one of the best places I’ve been to! The pet areas were clean and inviting. The house was very clean, well stocked and very family friendly! Other than a few decorations which we easily moved higher we didn’t have to worry about our child damaging anything or hurting himself. We stayed her for his 5th birthday a couple of weeks ago and HE’S still talking about it!!! We will definitely rate 5 stars! The host was great with communication and made sure we had the best time! The arcade games were a hit with my son (and his dad lol)!!! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing Get Away

This property was amazing! Off the beaten path but yet close to Chattanooga City. We spent 4 days here and wish we could have stayed longer. The owners have thought of everything you may need. The home clean and beautiful. The nature setting itself, breathtaking. 10 out of 10 recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for few night getaway hoping for a serene and peaceful location with scenic views and this house did not disappoint. We loved the screened in porch outside the master bedroom which allowed us to appreciate the view while it was raining for a couple days of our stay. The hot tub was nice in the cold evenings. The kitchen was stocked and allowed us to cook a couple of our meals with no problem. Having coffee available was nice in the mornings as we took in the view. The house was clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the fireplace worked nicely to warm us up during the cold evenings. The drive to and from the house and the steep driveway took some maneuvering for us south-Louisianians but we did it and were pretty proud of ourselves for conquering it! I’m sure it’s nothing for the local folks but something to be aware of if you’re not used to it. The hosts provided information timely and were available to communicate when needed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view of the river and mountains. Communication with the property owner was excellent and response was very timely! Further drive in and out to the city than expected but definitely the place for relaxation and quiet time. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the property. We like to stay at luxurious properties and booked this place mostly based upon the reviews of how clean the property was. Upon arrival, the place appeared to have not been cleaned at all other than the bedding being changed. The counters had spillage than ran down the cabinets, food particles around the sink, floors were not vacuumed or mopped, towels were stale and had pet dander, along with pet dander in the windowsills and along the headboard. It definitely needs a deep cleaning, which was relayed to the property owners. They were more than willing to correct the inconvenience, but with a shorter stay, it wasn’t feasible to lose a day of our vacation, so we opted out of the offer. Also, the hot tub foamed alot when the jets were on, so we could only enjoy it with the jets turned off. But I do believe the owners took the uncleanliness seriously, so I don’t foresee it being an issue for future guests. All in all, beautiful scenery and friendly and communicative hosts!

Perfect!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We had an early spring stay and the weather was perfect. We spent hours watching a pair of bald eagles fish in the river from the back deck. We are familiar with the area and proximity to Chattanooga. The driveway, while steep, is not as steep as the other homes on the road. The driveway and the drive from Chattanooga are worth it to see this beautiful part of our country. The Tennessee River Gorge is spectacular all 4 seasons of the year and this home is the ticket to experiencing it.
