Summary:
Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this cozy water front RV. Just a few miles from down town Charleston and Folly Beach. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and two children with a Queen size bed in the spacious main bedroom and a fold out sofa in the living area. Take full advantage of this secluded private property with access to the dock as well as the entire lot featuring multiple fire pits, tree swings, and picnic benches.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the surrounding property, outdoor picnic tables, fire pits and the dock.

Overall good stay

It is nice to be close to Folly and Downtown Charleston as well as access to the marsh. Downside is the place looks private and secluded in pictures but it's right at the house with lots of other rented rooms. Not what I was expecting. It was also very dusty.

Quick trip for son to see OBX film locations

We had a great stay in an RV on James Island! The location was perfect close to everything but still peaceful. The RV was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view but….

The view is awesome and we enjoyed that. The basics were clean (shower, sinks, etc. But the carpeting and bedroom window need to be cleaned. The air exchange in the bedroom desperately needs cleaning—dust and dirt are hanging from it. And the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I’m sorry but I would not return.

Peaceful Camping Experience

We had a great time staying in the RV. It is an older RV, but it was clean and comfortable. The host had lots of kcup options and several types of creamer choices to use. They also had toiletries in case you ran out or needed something that you may have forgotten to bring from home. They provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. There was plenty of room for two adults and our standard poodle. The bed is very much on the firm side, but we still slept well. The outside space is shared with the owner and two other rentals, but there was plenty of room to roam and rest. The outside shared space was so peaceful and welcoming. The big live oak tree with string lights was absolutely beautiful lit up at night. There are plenty of nice Adirondack chairs, swings, etc to take in the views. The shared dock was very nice as well. The check out process was so simple, which made it easy to head out at check out. I would definitely stay here again and I look forward to sharing this listing with friends and family.

RV harbor stay

Beautiful property, with great open space, next to the marsh on James island! A fishing pier that you can access to fish or just hang out! Convenient to Folly Beach and Charleston! Excellent place for a getaway!

Will be staying again!

Visited Charleston for the weekend for my daughter’s birthday. Had a great stay in the RV, the property was beautiful. Everything was exactly how I imagined. My two kids and myself stayed, we felt very comfortable and very safe in the area. Will definitely be our go to stay each time we come!

perfect James Island getaway

You can't beat the location to all that Charleston and the surrounding area has to offer. And more importantly, the property is in a quiet area with not too much light pollution so you can fully enjoy the beauty of the marsh and sky. When I first rented it, I was a little worried about sharing the property, but the large yard had plenty of room to share and it never felt crowded. In fact, while I was there, there were lots of time no one else was outside. Very beautiful piece of property to enjoy some quiet reflective time.

If you like RV’s it’s great…just learned I’m not an RV person

This was my first time renting and RV and it will probably be my last, not anything to do with the property, I think I’m just a hotel/condo/rental home type person. In terms of the view, communication, cleanliness, all 5-star. I’m a super light sleeper, so I wasn’t used to the loudness of the ventilation system, which really affected my sleep. Something got turned off in the RV, so we had to take cold showers the first time, but as soon as we let the property manager know, it was resolved. Overall, me not enjoying my stay is because I’m just too used to a hotel room, but if you like an RV, this is a great location for getting to Folly or downtown Charleston. The view is amazing, but it was way too hot to take advantage of the fire pits. The little extras, like make up wipes, toothpaste/toothbrush, Keurig and supplies, were very thoughtful.

Beautiful place

The property is in a quiet neighborhood. It was really nice to go sit on the dock and underneath the huge tree at night. There’s a nice breeze usually there too. We didn’t have to drive far for good local restaurants.

Relaxing site

We were focused on beach time and sitting by the water….this property has a nice pier with places to fish, rock on the swing and observe the beauty of the area. The RV worked perfect for our vacation…. Ample linens,towels and complimentary toothbrushes/paste….the little extra touches were appreciated. Would definitely stay here again…close to Folly Beach and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby too.

Seasoned travelers

We really enjoyed the outside property and access to the dock and marsh area. The RV was not what we expected. The smell of urine in the bedroom was quite unpleasant. I did not realize pets were allowed in this rental or I would not have booked. I travel full time in my camper as a nurse so I know what to expect for cleanliness. The smell from the sewer system was very strong…not sure if it is not properly cleaned in between guest or if the tank is always open to sewage. Not that it can be changed but the water anywhere in Charleston smells awful just heads up. If the RV was a little better cleaned and maintained it would be absolutely worth the money to stay on this property.

Home Away From Home

This is our second time staying at this picture perfect property. The RV is stocked with all you will need and sits on a spectacular marsh view. We enjoyed our coffee on the dock watching the dolphins play and our afternoons fishing. This is a natures lovers paradise and centrally located with privacy. The owner found out we were celebrating our anniversary and personally brought over a very heartwarming gift. We can’t wait to come back and miss this little slice of paradise already.

Completely beautiful

First day of check in we had a little trouble with some bees but the owner took care of that right away. From the RV there is beautiful views of the dock. The RV was very clean and organized and ready for our one week stay. It was me my spouse and our 7 year old daughter who loved it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. James island is not that far from anywhere you want to go. We enjoyed nights on the dock at the RV and days at the beach on Sullivan Island witch is way more family oriented for kids. Our all around experience was awesome and we look forward to another stay.

Excellent Experience

The RV was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The property was stunning, quiet and relaxing. The James Island area is the perfect mid-way point between Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, though I will say, James Island has tons of amenities and charm of it's own. The owner's Warren and his father are super friendly and accommodating and property manager Kaitlin is a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I'd highly recommend.

Meh Place to Rent

The location and property were amazing. The RV we rented was not so amazing. Zero updates so everything is original equipment and dated. Needs a deep cleaning as there was dog food, dirt, debris etc in the county and corners. The ACs worked but we’re incredibly noisy, incredibly. The water is not filtered and makes the Rv smelt of sulfur. The waterfront location is great but the blinds are screwed close so you can’t see the view from the inside. Yard needed mowed, yard equipment are could be much more clean/organized as you have to park next to the open storage area.
