Great stay outside of Santa Fe

Excellent house for our stay in the Santa Fe area. The property is very private with sweeping views of the area. The house was very comfortable, with everything you would need for your stay. Will stay here again if we are back in the Santa Fe area.

Peacefull and Cozy

Gorgeous property overlooking landscape for miles. It was perfect for sunning/resting/ and visiting historic Sante Fe. Remote place perfect distance from sante Fe.

Great mountain getaway

This place has everything you could want. It's spacious yet quaint. It's far enough away from anything and extremely peaceful but close enough to Santa Fe and Albuquerque to get your necessities and do any sightseeing. It was a great, relaxing vacation. I highly recommend.

Santa Fe Retreat

The property exceeded our expectations. Very spacious for our group of six adults. The sunrises and sunsets were awesome. The location was convenient with easy access to ABQ, Santa Fe, and Ski Santa Fe. The bedding was comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. Thanks!

We loved staying at this property and more than likely would love to stay there again!

As a family we cooked a lot together and did not even want to go in to town to restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we unfortunately had to cut it short due to an emergency work situation in Dallas. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home and surroundings for us.

Perfect Escape

Great location, beautiful views, lovely home. What more can I say? The home had everything we needed including a beautiful kitchen with spices for cooking. The host and the manager were attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed the sunrises, the sunsets, and star gazing. Close to a lot of options from hiking to shopping to dining. Definitely recommend and if back in the area we will stay again.

Santa Fe Getaway

Phenomenal property! My family and I agree that this has been our favorite house we've stayed in. It's was perfect distance away from the city but close enough that it never felt inconvenient to run to store or get something to eat. Most notably, the FAST response and communication the property managers. By far the best we've ever experienced! We will definitely look to book here again!

Great house for a group

We had Thanksgiving at this house. Great kitchen - huge fridge and freezer, 6 burner stove, large counters and many appliances including handheld mixer! Also great family room with a very nice wood-burning fireplace. The house is minutes from the Galisteo Basin Preserve, where we hiked almost every day. We also enjoyed the fusball table in the garage and the quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again.

Sweet get-away.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Santa Fe property. The location was quiet, with fantastic views, and easy access to the city. The furnishings and the house itself were exactly as advertised, and we didn't want to leave the house it was so nice. The totally fenced/walled property was also perfect for our little dog while we were spending meals and evenings outside. Thanks so much for opening your home to us.

Great Stay Over the Holidays

We had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed and spacious home in Santa Fe over the holiday season. The house was perfect for our group of family and friends, offering plenty of room for everyone to feel at home. We loved cooking together in the chef’s kitchen, spending cozy evenings by the Kiva fireplace, and taking in the breathtaking sunsets. The location was ideal—just a short drive to Santa Fe and nearby attractions, with a convenient grocery store only minutes away. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the home was warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained. A truly memorable experience!

Nice quiet place

Great property for peace and quiet. Enjoyed stay. Several of the appliances need maintenance (eg. freezer did not go below 36). A bit inconvenient but liked the place. Grocery store and a couple of restaurants with in 10 mins. Santa Fe 20 mins.

Idyllic spot away from it all

I visited in early October with my sisters, cousins and aunts for a girls-only trip. We spent a week here in Lamy and found it to be restful, roomy and the ultimate retreat. There was space for all of us to gather around the table for meals and games, on the back porch for sunset and in the kitchen for dance parties. It’s a bit out of the way but worth it! Our only suggestions would be to add more seating in the living room and a Bluetooth speaker for music (we brought one). We’d certainly stay again! ✨🌅

Santa Fe August 2023

This was a nice house with great views. The house was well designed with a very comfortable layout and well fit-out. The kitchen was stocked with high end appliances and utensils. We enjoyed being out of the city. Anyone with a large motorhome or trailer 15' or longer will struggle with the circular driveway as it is VERY TIGHT. After leaving the highway the gravel road is rough and crooked. After saying all that we really did enjoy our stay.

The perfect getaway

As some of the other reviews have said, the photos of this place really don’t do it justice. Every view from every window looks like a painting. It was so peaceful sitting on the gigantic wraparound porch and looking out over the mountains or staying cozy by the fireplace. The house is extremely spacious, well laid out for privacy in each bedroom. Truly a magnificent place to stay to get out of town and enjoy nature. The nearby grocery store and restaurants were very nice and convenient when we didn’t want to go into Santa Fe. And when we did, it was a quick and beautiful 20 minute drive into the city. We definitely hope to come back one day with more family and friends!

Beautiful house, out of the way but close enough!

Our stay here started when our reservation at another rental through another service (not to be named or used ever again) was canceled at just about the last minute. We found this location in roughly the same location relative to Santa Fe and couldn't have been happier we did. The house was very clean, without being overly perfumed as some are. The kitchen provided us all we didn't already bring and the living area included a nice kiva fireplace which we used almost each night.The patio opens west to beautiful views of the mountains and NM sunsets. Beds were very comfortable. Use of two garage spaces was a nice bonus! We visit Santa Fe almost each spring to tackle some skiing and will certainly check back here first when making our next reservation. In our 10 years visiting, this rental tops the list. Thank you!

Gorgeous House and Beautiful Scenery

Huge, beautiful, southwest style house with everything you could need. For five senior adults needing four bedrooms with comfortable beds, this house was perfect. Huge fully equipped kitchen, huge patio and wrap around deck, massive, gorgeous master suite, huge laundry room and machines, large, deep sinks all over the house, individual air coolers in each room, so each of us could conrol the temp in our bedrooms, parking available in garage and circle driveway. Also, no steps, which is great for older renters. Beautiful surrounding scenery with floor to ceiling windows or sliding glass doors all over the house. The pictures do not do it justice. This is a quiet, peaceful, remote location, yet within 15-20 minutes of anything we needed in Santa Fe. And when we had a small problem with a couple of the air units, the property manager came and resolved the problem within an hour. Could not have asked for anything better!

Very Surprised...

We stayed at this house last year for six weeks and it was very well outfitted for the luxury home (and price) that it was. We love this house. It feels, though, that the Owners are trying to discourage people from cooking/renting the house this year. There were very little towels in the linen closet, they removed most of the seasonings, pots, kitchenware, all the storage containers, and while we love the house it felt less inviting. Plus, I requested information from the Owner about a six week stay this winter and no one got back to me. We are easy and terrific guests and leave the place very clean so it just feels to me that they really are not interested in guests renting in all honesty. Even the local magazines were removed from the coffee table in the living room.

Casa Cuervo has a wonderful kitchen to cook and entertain and we want all of our renters have a great stay and experience. We would love for you to return for a six week stay this winter. Truly a high end home, in a magical location

This is a very large home (4bdrm, 3bath, huge kitchen, separate dinning room and family room) with wrap around porches sitting on top of a mountain with amazing views. You're only 25 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, and there's local shopping and restaurants within 5-10 miles. My wife and I and our dog spent the month of February here with lots of snow, high winds, and fantastic sunrises/sunsets all mixed in. We had one of our grown kids and her partner and dog come visit for a long weekend. Wifi was excellent throughout the house which allowed me to work remotely when needed. It was exactly what we were looking for and more. Very family and pet friendly, with lots of room to spread out. If you are here for a long stay, note that there is no cleaning service (unless you pay extra to a cleaning contractor). They have a large washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning supplies. Also you have to take the trash and recycling to the Lamy center, about 4 miles away. If you can afford this one, take advantage of a great experience.

Perfect house for our family

We just spent a week at this property with our 3 adults sons and 2 of their significant others. ( 7 adults) The place was perfect. Everyone had their own space and privacy but also had great together areas. inside and out. The house is even more unique and beautiful then the pictures. The kitchen is fabulous and great for family dinners. plus a great grill on the patio. the house was extremally clean. Plenty of towels and dishes plus a washer and dryer. Many amenities including coffee filters and spices and condiments. The location was great. 20 some minutes to Santa Fe Plaza. great hiking 5 minutes a way at Galisteo Basin. Pleasant but expensive grocery in El Dorado about 7 minutes away . We stooped at Costco from Airport in Albuquerque and just bought a few staples at the grocery. We ate most breakfasts and dinners at the house and had lunches out. Great Restaurant( the Agora?) in Eldorado and local bar with great happy hour. about 7 minutes from the house. I totally recommend this house. If ever in the area again would stay here again.
