Perfectly situated for indoor/outdoor living with large glass doors to the patio - excellent airflow and sunlight through the house. It is also In the middle of a 2-acre lot, abutting the greenbelt trails and Santa Fe rail trial, socially distanced outdoor activity abounds!

After a full day of exploring historic Santa Fe, you'll enjoy sitting on the patio, bathed in the colorful New Mexico sunset. Soon you'll be blanketed by the unforgettable New Mexico night sky.

Santa Fe Get-Away is a perfect home base for your Santa Fe adventures, whether you are here for the arts & culture, outdoor opportunities, exquisite Santa Fe cuisine, or reconnecting with your loved ones.

The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need in case you choose to cook some of your own meals between visits to the authentic southwestern restaurants in historic Santa Fe.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and a private 3/4 bath. It also has a sliding glass door on to the patio. Across the hallway, you will find the second and third bedrooms - one with a queen and the other with two twins. The second full bath is conveniently situated for easy access for these two rooms and the living room.

The kitchen, dining, and living rooms meld together to create a warm, comfortable place for your family and friends to gather, catch-up and enjoy some time together.

The expansive back yard has a large patio with outdoor dining and living space. It is facing the Sandia, Ortiz, and Manzano Mountains as well as the Cerrillos Hills. The patio provides a spectacular sunset on almost every night.

As guests, you will have access to the entire home, yard, patio, and garage.

There is one locked closet inside the house, for our cleaning supplies, and one locked shed beside the house, for our yard tools.

This property abuts the Eldorado greenbelt and Santa Fe Railtrail so you can walk, hike, or mountain bike right from your door. Playgrounds and the outdoor community swimming pool (summer only), tennis courts, basketball/handball courts are all nearby for your enjoyment.

The historic Santa Fe Plaza is a 20-minute drive from our home. The Santa Fe Opera is 25 minutes away, and Ski Santa Fe will take you 45 minutes. Given this, a car is recommended, although there is a city bus that comes to Eldorado on a regular basis and there is a mountain bike trail that connects Eldorado to Santa Fe.

Our neighborhood boasts several restaurants, a few shops, a library, a gas station, hiking/biking trails, and a community center within a few miles of our home.

Our family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and peaceful home. The house was very clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The views are amazing, both during the day and nighttime sky viewing. Erika provided a lot of great information about the area, answered questions promptly, and ensured our stay was comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable stay! The house had nice beds and a great hot tub! The owners are incredibly nice and notified us of any needs they had with the house. There is a community pool too that is really nice with a great kiddie pool for the babies. We appreciated our stay here as it was close to family.

Quiet and Enjoyable

A wonderful retreat with well - maintained hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. Moderate and comfortable sized living rooms and bedrooms. Enjoyable to sit outside and watch the birds and lizards. Small problem was solved by homeowner as quickly as possible.

Home Away From Home

My wife and I and our pups had the very best time at this beautiful home! First, the property has the most incredible views. Early morning coffee outside looking at the mountains, watching and waving at the Sky Railway as it goes by, the Georgia Oā€™Keeffe clouds with the sunsets, and the star gazerā€™s best stars. Our two dogs, McMurphy and Lucinda, loved the views and being able to roam free in the backyard with all the desert sights and smells. The trail access for walking is fantastic as well. We saw a coyote one night and heard them the next!The kitchen has everything you could ever need (so we picked up some groceries at the Eldorado supermarket and grilled out and cooked to stay in and relax on some nights). If you need something from the hardware store, a brew from the Santa Fe Brewing Tap Room, an outdoor patio pizza at Upper Crust, a gas tank fill up, or an easy drive into town, the location is perfect. While still being away to unplug and enjoy the desert green space.The beds are comfortable, the garage access was appreciated, the water pressure was excellent, the laundry facilities were helpful, and the patio and hot tub were a dream.Erika, our host, was so helpful and friendly! We felt very taken care of, knowing our hostsā€™ proximity in case we needed anything. We have found our home away from home and cannot wait to come back again soon!

Perfect VRBO in Eldorado at Santa Fe

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was just as described. Especially enjoyed the proximity to the walking trail and the beautiful sunsets. Also liked watching the birds visit the bird feeder and bird bath. Great yard for our dogs.

Santa Fe serenity

My family enjoyed the house in peaceful neighborhood in El Dorado. Fenced in back yard for dog was nice and watching sunset from patio was beautiful. Plenty of room for my family if 5. Highly recommend this property for to the views and wide open night sky viewing! Only 15 minute easy drive to downtown Santa Fe.

Itā€™s all about the view!

The sunsets were too beautiful for words. Sitting in the evening with a cocktail as the sun dropped behind the mountains and with a coffee in the mornings as the sky took on a rosy glow became our favorite activities. The kitchen surprised me with a complete collection of spices and great cookware.The king size bed was warm and comfy and the decor was enticing.

Lovely property but problems with hosts

We arrived in a snowstorm and were snowed in for days. Hosts shoveled walkways but did not clear the driveway so we could not leave the property in our car. They did bring us groceries in so we had food until we could get out. Some small things were wrong with the property, and then the roof leaked for two days in the living room. The house is comfortable and nice, and the fenced yard is great for dogs. Although the snow made is nearly useless for ours. After checkout, Hosts accused us of having smoked marijuana in the house, which was a total falsehood. They wanted $300 to clean the ā€œsmokeā€ that hadnā€™t existed. This was upsetting after a stressful storm and being stranded. In sumā€”nice house with great views, but be careful of weather and of accusations of nonexistent violations.

Excellent Property

The house was well cared for, nice, and very functional. We appreciated the view, especially at sunset and when the stars came out. The back patio was a very nice place to sit with coffee. Erika, the host, was easy to deal with and very helpful. I am not sure we will return to Santa Fe, but if we do, we would be happy to stay here again, Staying in Eldorado is of course a compromise between proximity to Santa Fe and a more natural setting. But it only took about 15-20 minutes to get to Santa Fe, which we found to be perfectly fine. Options for meals around El Dorado are somewhat limited, but there are some very good options nearby, especially for breakfast/brunch.

Lovely Stay

We had a positive experience from start to finish in this attractive home. The rental was spacious, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the views from the patio especially at sunset and the stargazing can't be beat. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to all of our questions. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Birthday get together with friends

I would highly recommend this VRBO. We rented the house for a long weekend to meet our good friends for a birthday party and to catch up with each other. This house was perfect for a small gathering. The main area was very spacious with comfortable chairs in the TV room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to have a birthday party. The owner left us a big bag of ice in the freezer and some Santa Fe coffee for our morning coffee. Loved the coffee. The back yard porch was very comfortable with enough chairs and a large dining table for everyone to sit and relax. We loved getting up early in the morning for coffee and to hear the coyotes howling. All three bedrooms had comfortable beds. Each room had a chair and there was a full bath with the master bedroom and a shared full bath shared by the two other bedrooms. The house was close to a grocery store, Upper Crust pizza and Fusion Tacos for lunch. Driving distance to the Plaza was easy and quick. Erika, the owner was very helpful and very respectful. She really wanted to make sure we were comfortable and we enjoyed her place. Overall, this rental was a perfect place for us to rent.

Erika was extremely responsive and very helpful with tips and suggestions during our stay. The home was the perfect base for our quick visit to Santa Fe. There is a lot to explore and enjoy in El Dorado and downtown is a quick drive.

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this very nice house. The decor is fantastic and you are made to feel very welcome. There are so many little touches like flowers, potted plants and cushions and blankets which show the fantastic hospitality. There is a very nice Roku TV with good soundbar and subwoover. Wlan is very good. Each room is equipped with a good working air conditioner. The temperatures in May were still very moderate, but on the last few days it was still 82 degrees, so we needed the air conditioning. Erika and her husband are very eager and friendly to help immediately and comprehensively with any problems. The location of the house is very beautiful in this desert landscape. The style of the house and the landscape create a very nice atmosphere. It was absolutely quiet at night. In the nearby Eldorado supermarket we got everything we needed and even a few specialties from Germany were available. We really enjoyed our stay in Eldorado and would love to come back.

Our New Mexico Getaway

We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place to stay with our family (group of 6). The house was perfect in size, everyone had plenty of space to hangout as a group or have downtime in one of the bedrooms. We did quite a bit of cooking, the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils which we really appreciated. We loved the patio! We enjoyed having our meals/drinks outside, especially in the evenings as the sunsets were absolutely amazing. The location of the home is in neat area, you have plenty of privacy but can easily get to hiking trails, shops etc. We would definitely come back and stay here again! Thank you Erika and Rudy!

Sunsets and fresh air

This property is wonderful. Just the respite we needed. The Santa Fe sunset never disappoints and watching the Roadrunner Train chug by to Lamy was particularly fun. Property management was easy to reach and work with when there was a bit of a hiccup. Super fast response time and a pleasure to work with. Our little dogs loved it too.
