Modern Villa With Ocean View, Private Pool And 5 Min to Town/Beach!

Casa Bella is a brand new modern 2 bedroom villa. Construction was completed in March 2023. An architectural dream of concrete, teak and glass. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, AC and patio. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and stunning ocean view. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds extra long that can push together to be king size. This room enjoys a lovely little workspace, and jungle view.
The main floor of the home has an open concept kitchen, living, dining room designed for indoor/outdoor living. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking in paradise indoors, or pick up some fresh fish to grill on the gas BBQ outside.
The Patio doors open wide to walk out onto a huge deck. Lounge on patio seating, enjoy sunrises and sunsets, or swim in the gorgeous personal pool.
Casa Bella is in a perfect location. Just 5 minutes from town but because it's on a hilltop it boasts some of the best ocean views in Samara. A serene retreat that still has all the modern comforts of home.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Bella. Beautiful views and very quick drive into the amazing beach town Sámara. Definitely recommend both the Wingnuts zip lining adventure and Outback ATV tour.

This rental unit was exactly as advertised. The host was fantastic and this is a beautiful place to stay in Samara. The view is stunning. I would highly recommend this rental house.

Beautiful and amazing place!

Very nice property and exactly as described. We loved our time here and would return in a heart beat. We had a vehicle so no problem being away from the beach.

Tranquil setting with gorgeous views

The property was fantastic! Hand soap in every bathroom, shampoo and conditioner, small things that made cooking easy like Tupperware and coffee and salt/pepper/olive oil. The pool was perfect and the views were so amazing. Our host was kind and welcoming!

Good location ( if you have a car).Amazing view.Nice small pool.Great place overall. Cleanliness was ok, not great.Host was unresponsive via VRBO before our stay (had to contact them via another platform. After that, communication was fine.Overall, a very good stay.

Beautiful View and QUIET

Lovely property. The view of the ocean was magnificent and also allowed excellent bird watching. There was a resident iguana next door, and a very friendly coati. We named him Pablo, and he loves peanut butter bread! The property was clean and well appointed. We will return next year!C

The view!

The view from this property will haunt our dreams forever. The property was clean, well situated, and quiet. We had incredible storms when we were there and the power flickered but didn’t miss a beat. The owner/property managers were responsive and helpful, but most importantly they stayed out of our way.

The perfect spot

Breath taking views from both levels of the house. A beautiful and well designed house. It has everything you need. The property managers and owners are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I have already sent the listing to a few friends.

Gorgeous house with a breathtaking view

Absolutely gorgeous property with a breath taking view. Clean, well-furnished with all necessary amenities. Communication with the property manager was easy, warm and responsive. It was perfect for our 5-day stay with our young kids. Now, for the hill... this wasn't crystal clear in other reviews, so let us make it so: the hill to get there is a bit long and steep so even though we are in shape and enjoy a physical challenge, just make it easier on yourself and take your car to and from the property. The view once up there is worth the ride.

The property and view were spectacular! I enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning while listening to the howler monkeys and birds. The pool was great, such a great way to enjoy the afternoon. Great location. Short drive to the beaches, shopping, and town. Lots of great options for dining. Saturday market was fun. We were able to see monkeys right at the house one evening which was amazing. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was that the house often got a septic system odor upstairs. I let the property manager know and hopefully they will be able to fix the problem. Luis was quick to respond and was very helpful with recommendations. We loved our stay. Samara is beautiful. Pura vida.

Thank you for staying with us. Luis has checked all the drains from where a bad smell may surface from the septic tank, which by the way is in the opposite corner of the house. We think the problem is solved, and it may also have been a case of a drain (sink or shower) without water in the trap. We are sorry. It should never happen, but it did. We'll keep monitoring it. Thanks for letting us know.

Awesome Samara house

This is beautiful, new full house in the hills above Samara. We loved the great views, cute little personal pool, deck with grill, and all of the light let into this gorgeous home. There were lots of birds around, including a pair of scarlet macaws perched right outside our door one morning. It's a great getaway from the busy Samara streets, but still very accessible (less than 10 min drive - a car is recommended). The hosts/manager are very responsive and had great tips to enjoy the area. My only suggestion would be to add a blender to the otherwise very well equipped kitchen! Overall, this is a real gem and we'd love to come back!

Hilltop Paradise

The view from this house is fabulous! We loved our stay in Samara and would book this house again if it is available. Overlooking Samara beach and Isla Chora, it provides for a picturesque stage from which to soak in this charming area. From the deck, we enjoyed fly-bys by wild macaws each morning and evening. Such a treat! For great sunsets, let me recommend Playa Carrillo (turn left at the bottom of the hill). After taking in a romantic sunset on the beach, the steakhouse in Carrillo (El Colibri) is the perfect stop! In Samara, I highly recommend Roots Bakery & Cafe (turn right at the bottom of the hill). Excellent pastries - the jamon y queso empanadas are fantastico! Another surprising culinary gem is the little salumeria (Salumi & Formaggi) more or less across the street from Roots. Helpful information: The house is near the top of a partially paved road and a four-wheel drive vehicle is helpful to get to it. Upon arrival, we were asked not to flush toilet paper, which (combined with a persistent odor in the master bedroom) leads me to believe that there may be problems with the septic system. The description mentioned that it is possible to walk to town. This may be an option for athletes, but even then would be dangerous as the roads do not tend to have much of a shoulder and the house is a long way up the hill. Thank you for your review and letting us know. I will take care of the odor and possible septic issues. Yes, I agree, the road to the house is uphill and steep, but it is mostly in the shade. And the best way to avoid the twisty dangerous road, with no sidewalks, is to go across to the Matapalo beach (another 70 meters) and walk into town on the beach, more pleasant and shorter.

We like Samara and Carrillo because they are in our opinion the 2 best beaches of Guanacaste. Our property sits 95 meters (280 feet) above sea level. The view is one of the best of Samara. Yet you can walk half a mile to the beach and another half to town and Gusto Beach, Locanda or Dolce Vita.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We are on the top of a hill, and enjoy a good breeze that makes the AC not necessary most of the time. The access road is mostly paved, only a short stretch is still unpaved.
Being close to town for everything, such as grocery shopping, excellent bakeries, great restaurants for lunches and dinners are some of the benefits.
Yet it is a very quiet area: you can hear the waves of the ocean, the howling of the monkeys, the songs of the roosters.
