I’m sorry your experience was less than stellar and did not quite live up to your expectations. We have been offering this place on other sites for 3 years and honestly haven’t had one of the comments you made. We try very hard to make sure all our guests have a wonderful experience and have been quite successful with over 500 guests. I appreciate your feedback and will definitely make some minor changes to help better fulfill everyone’s expectations and experience. Again thank you for the review and staying with us. Sorry we came up short for you. As mentioned before we try hard and have been extremely successful, however we do know that we cannot always make everyone happy no matter how hard we try.

I'm really sorry about your experience, however this kind of review is completely uncalled for and irresponsible. During our conversation you mentioned that you "may have not read all the information" about the description of the room. Had you, you would have discovered it was attached to the main house. Second, the skylight is generally not something that is disclosed, however you never mentioned your sensitivity to light prior to booking or ever inquired about our lighting during your booking process. In regards to "powerful smell", we are very diligent about cleaning and making sure it's spotless and smells nice and clean. Again, if you have a sensitivity to smells. you never mentioned it prior to you checking in and never inquired about what products we use, considering you did mention your smell sensitivity during our conversation. We take a lot of pride our space and do our absolute best to provide a room that is clean, comfortable and makes the guest feel like they are still at home. Id say we do a pretty great job considering our 98% 5 star rating over multiple platforms with over 700 reviews. With that being said, we are aware that our room doesn't suit everyone and there may be things that come up during ones stay that we are more than willing to rectify immediately and help our guests. Unfortunately you did not voice any of these issues prior to you booking and took to letting me know that you had no intention of staying due to some things that, had you asked we most definitely could have changed for you (i.e Cover the skylight and not used cleaning products that would been overwhelming for you). Concerning the full refund, we refunded you exactly half of our payout by VRBO, the remainder are processing fees, taxes and fees paid to VRBO that has nothing to do with us. I think 1/2 is completely fair if not more that fair considering you never attempted to communicate to us about your concerns and were set on not staying upon arrival. The full refund deadline is 7 days before arrival and considering this is a popular time of year, we were left with no ability to book the empty days. Again I'm sorry all this had to happen but Hope you found a place that was more perfect. I hope you understand our position as I feel much of this could have been avoided with better communication.
