Looking for a week-long rental or weekend getaway (3-day rental minimum required)? Our newly built house (2015) is beautifully furnished in a Tuscan motif. It is centrally located to a number of year-around sports / hobby locations including fantastic winter snow skiing approximately 5 miles from NorthStar, ten-minutes to Squaw and Sugar Bowl. If you are into mountain biking riding, we have a number of single track and multi-track locations to keep you challenged. Road riders will love the ride to Donner Lake which includes some steep climbing. Hiking is available throughout the area. Donner Lake is minutes away and Lake Tahoe is 13 miles away. Boat rentals available at both locations. We are walking distance from downtown Truckee where you can dine and shop for hours. Our home has 3-bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, Grand Living room, modern furnished kitchen including Nespresso Coffee Maker (bring your own VertuoLine Capsules) + Keurig Single Cup Coffee Maker (bring your own K-Cup pods) + Full pot coffee maker (Bring Your Own Coffee Grounds), pots / pans / dishes/ glassware and gas BBQ to ensure the 'Foody' in you will be happy. Main bedroom has a shower & tub, plasma TV, Wi-Fi Access. For those who want to work remotely an office area is set up for you in the grand room. WE HAVE NO CABLE SERVICE. WE PROVIDE ROKU in Livingroom and main bedroom so you must add your own streaming sign-on to use. Two guest rooms downstairs are downstairs, which both have queen-size beds. Our rates include a mandatory 13.5% tax required by the Town of Truckee (11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and 2% TTBID Tax on both rental and cleaning rates.) Sorry I too am disappointed with these taxes too! We are a Registered Transient Occupancy Registered Home. Certificate Number 012558. The maximum occupants is 6 people for the rate shown which includes children and infants. NO pets allowed. There is a max of 4 parking spaces (2 inside the garage and 2 in the driveway.) There is zero street parking. PLEASE.... no parties. A LARGE penalty will be assessed if you have a party or a large group visiting in the house. We are seeking renters who understand our home is for 6-people maximum.

We will provide you a custom quote if you have more than 6 people staying. We must know in advance if there is more than 6 or your entire deposit will be retained by VRBO.

Allergy Alert: We do not allow dogs, but my 5-year-old English Lab has been to the house so for those with severe allergies this might not be your place. Our home is well cleaned and no sign of our pup, but I want to be sensitive to those who might have allergies as we cannot guarantee she has not left a few blond hairs.
