Welcome to The Demler House located in the heart of the Pittsford Village. Whether you want to stroll through the quaint shops and eateries or take a bike ride down the historic Erie canal, you will not find a location more suitable to help you find exactly what you were looking for. A true hidden gem that boasts the perfect combination of relaxation and excitement. Explore the many wonderful restaurants, cafes, & artisan boutiques. The inviting communal atmosphere in Schoen Place is contagious.

The Space:
The Demler House at 58 State St is a home that offers two separate spaces. This portion of the home is located on the second and third floors. The bedrooms are on the second floor and the spacious living room is located on the third floor The entire home is available to lease which is 5 Bedrooms / 2.5 Baths, upon request. Entire home may be available to book. Please send request for availability.

Steps from Pittsford Village, Schoen Place and the Erie Canal.

Other Things to Note:
You will enter through the front door and have one dedicated parking space on the right hand side of the driveway.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it won’t be our last. We love walking along the canal and enjoying the shops in Schoen place. The whole place is very clean.

If you are looking for a place to stay while in charming Pittsford Village, this is the place! It is located steps away from Shoen Place on the Erie Canal. Three of us came to town for a high school reunion, and the property was perfect in every way. Two of us took a bedroom while I slept on the sofa in the upstairs room. It was my choice to do so and it worked out great. The refrigerator was thoughtfully stocked with welcome items, and Tim was very responsive to any questions we had.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute 2 bedroom. So many cute shops and restaurants just a few steps away. We arrived to find the house extremely clean! A few snacks and beverages were provided which was great after a day of travel.I look forward to using this property again.

Great location in the heart of Pittsford!

This is our second stay at this location. It's perfectly located for walking the Erie Canal or venturing into the small town! The residence is comfortable but be advised that there are steep steps up to the second and third floor where the apartment is located. Also, since it is on a Main Street there is significant vehicle noise.

Perfect location

The property was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. We loved having the bikes and the ability to walk or have a short drive to everything we needed. This is the second time we have stayed here and it is perfect!

Great property, great stay, great host

We actually lived in Pittsford most of our adult lives and raised our family there, so we know the area very well. We moved out of state a couple of years ago, and were returning back to the Rochester area to catch up with friends and family. Knowing Pittsford as well as we do, we wanted to be near the village and the canal - the treasures of the area - and found this vrbo. It could not be more perfect; a great home and an incredible location right on the canal. The property is contemporary and cool, and the hosts were wonderful to deal with. It was actually our first time vrbo-ing, and the owners were so responsive and helpful, answering questions within minutes. They thought of everything, lots of nice touches around the house. One-thousand percent recommend to anyone looking to stay in Pittsford or anywhere nearby.

The location is great

They were steps away from shopping, restaurants, trail and the Erie Canal. The bedrooms were large and kitchen well equipped.

Loved *everything* about our stay!!

Tim was the very best VRBO host we’ve had to date, without a doubt. He shared so much helpful information as we prepared for our stay, remained engaged with us throughout our visit, and even followed up to check on us after our visit. He was personable, kind, hospitable, and a genuinely wonderful person. He had thought ahead to anything we might need, esp with the winter weather, & had it ready for us. When we reached out during our stay about a question re: an appliance, he immediately got back to us and sent out a repair person immediately to check on the item. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Tim was as a host!! With regards to the unit we stayed in, it was spotless and clean, well stocked with cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, dryer, sheets, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The beds were comfortable, the closet space was just what we needed, and there were extra linens and sheets just in case. Our young kids LOVED the 3rd floor and how cozy it was. I so appreciate how well thought through the space was for visitors, even including a pack-n-play for those with babies! When we arrived, we found there were snacks, sodas, water, tea, coffee, & even hot chocolate, which our kids were super excited about! The cherry on top for me was seeing the fresh flowers on the table. It helped us feel right at home right away! Tim, thank you for everything you did to create a great space for my family to create sweet memories! We’ll definitely be back!! :)

Adorable home in Pittsford Village

The location of this property right off the Erie Canal is great. There are local coffee shops, breweries and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The host paid attention to detail with stocking the house with coffee, drinks, snacks and a few bonus gifts that were great to have if you are arriving late and need a sip or bite. Bedrooms are spacious and the upstairs living room is super cozy and much bigger than the pictures do justice. Great waterfall shower. This home literally had everything you needed (iron, clothes steamer, laundry supplies, etc.). I would highly recommend and will definitely try to stay here again.

Perfect for multiple families

We utilized the whole house and found it very comfortable. To have king beds in several bedrooms was key for the couples! The location was perfect with walking to restaurants and the golf course less than a mile away. The host was responsive and friendly. Thanks for everything, Tim!

Great house in a great location!

We had a great stay in Pittsford! This house has been beautifully renovated and is in a wonderful location right on the Erie Canal Trail and Schoen Place! The owner stocked the house with K-cups, creamers, soft drinks, and snacks which was a very nice touch. He was very responsive to any questions we had and made it easy to check in and out. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay! Had a bit of challenge getting in but Timothy responded and was very responsive throughout our stay. He went above and beyond. The location is awesome for getting out and walking the canal. The kitchen and bedrooms were so comfortable we didn’t venture upstairs to the great living space. Thanks for a great visit!

Little oasis on the Erie Canal

Great Location, renovated, comfortable space

Rented the upstairs unit - 2nd floor and loft. Really liked the 3rd floor loft with comfy sofa and TV. Kitchen area was nice for congregating / socializing before going out.

Great location, great house

We decided to try Tim’s place instead of getting two hotel rooms. We are so glad we did! Tim was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. We even had a few nice surprises for us when we arrived. The house is very nicely decorated.
