The space
1,500 sq ft half house in new renovated condition. Vaulted ceilings, airy open & bright. Great room, dining room and kitchen in open floor plan. Relaxed setting with fireplace and entertainment options inside and fire pit and lounge chairs right outside the wall of sliding doors surrounded by gardens.

Comfortable new beds, closet and drawer space. High quality new bedding for maximum comfort. Bright clean bathrooms with skylights.

All the fixings including cream for coffee and tea. Choose Keurig, drip coffee or French press.

Perfect Home for a Family Weekend Away

Great property very conveniently located for a nice family weekend. Owners were incredibly gracious and accommodating, definitely recommend as a top option when visiting Pittsford/Rochester.

Charming and cozy holiday stay

Kitchen, dining room, and living area were perfect for a festive Christmas Eve with extended family. Meticulously clean, comfortable space for the 4 of us, we will look forward to staying here again in the future!

Visiting family in the area.

This is a lovely and beautiful home. Very clean and spacious. The owners never invade your space but are available if needed with a concern. This was our second stay and will not be our last. We love this home.

80th Birthday Get Together

We were in town to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. The location of the house was in great proximity to my parents ands was perfect for my husband and I and our adult children. The house was great and very comfortable! I wish there had been a bathroom on the ground floor but it was a minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay again for future visits.

Beyond Expectations

On a scale of one to 10 this property is a 12!!! all the things you need to do when you first arrive at a rental were already in place!! coffee maker with coffee, pods, sugar & sweetener, 2 baths with soap, shampoo, conditioner,washer/dryer with detergent, stove, and oven that work with pots and pans glasses and dishes if you are more than just two wonderful dining room table napkins that wash beautifully, glass doors looking out at wonderful foliage and yard and patio. Fantastic location, close to shopping and Canal walk.We LOVED it!!! Perfect!!!

Beautiful house

Absolutely loved the house. One of the things that was so important to us was a kitchen that had equipment that we can use! The knives were actually sharp! Also, did not require us to clean the house from top to bottom before leaving. Owners were always available for any communication that we had. Thank you for letting us stay!

good house + very responsive owner

Overall a very good experience. The house is in a nice area and is very clean. The owners were also very responsive, especially when they accidentally gave us the wrong door code and we had to call them at 10 PM. The only issue with the house is that it is not very functional. There are two bedrooms upstairs and basically no walls so you can see / hear everything in the home. There also aren't any bathrooms downstairs. So, a nice home and great owners... just a few issues to detract from the experience a bit.

Nice space and area

We stayed in this property for 3 nights with 4 adults and 3 children. To others who may have that many people, I would suggest studying the photos closely and think about your sleeping arrangements and space needs. This house has 3 bedrooms and a total of 5 beds, but you need to look closely at how they are configured for your group. Also, there are 2 nice sized bathrooms, but they are both upstairs, while all of the living area and 3rd bedroom are downstairs. The kitchen is galley style and pretty tight for more than one person, if truly working together for food prep. There is not a full-sized refrigerator, rather two small/mid-size units with one small freezer space, so if you do have enough people to fill the beds, and plan to cook, it will be tough, well thought out task. All in all, the property is clean & in a good neighborhood.

Nice but few things

The overall space and ammenities are nice. There are a few things though. The bed on the firstfloor needs replacing it goes in on the middle. There was no note that both bathrooms were on the upper floor. We had a person with knee issues so that wasn't great. The loft in the upper bedroom is not safe for small people, would not plan on having a child stay up there. Also no mention that the space is pretty much 100% open with doors but open connected ceilings. If you have early risers this isn't the place for you.

Sue, Thanks for the feedback. We have never received 4 stars before and have always gotten stellar reviews. We are sorry the layout was not great for you and your family. The pictures clearly show how it is open and high ceilings. We will add that both bathrooms are on the second floor but it may be good to inquire before booking if you have someone with knee issues. In reserving our house you stated there would be 2 guests and every bed was used which is clearly more people than you stated. in the future make sure to accurately state the number of guests you have.
