LATE CHECKOUT- My cleaning crew will get there promptly at 10:15 am most days. A late checkout must be requested around the booking date, and is approved upon availability. WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE LAST MINUTE LATE CHECKOUTS. Our cleaning crew has a fully booked schedule most weeks, and typically we have new guests checking in the same day. We appreciate your compassion and understanding!

Please note kayaks and bicycles are rented during a four hour duration.

Perfect Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The shower is a little tricky due to the size, but it got the job done. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Very clean and well furnished Recommendations:Need some type of lock at bottom street door. Didn't feel comfortable with it being open to anyone.Balcony needs some TLC and updating on deck, rails, and outside table.Beautiful view of Hart Lake.

Great location

Located in the center of Hart, easily walk to restaurants, right on Lake Hart. Nice theme carried throughout. Easy check-in and check-out. Great soaps and towels too!

Lakeside view

Historic small town building rehabbed into comfortable apartment units with wonderful lakefront views. Birdwatching. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee shop. Scenic bike trail access, short drive to Silver Lake. Host very helpful, responsive.

Blue Lagoon

The apartment was very well decorated and I was able to watch the fireworks show off the balcony! There was a lively bakery and coffee shops walking distance away and some little shops set up right next to the place! The second day I was there, I went to the next little town over which was only 10 minutes away and had a lot of shops! Overall the location was just as amazing as the coziness of the Blue Lagoon.

Spring break

We stayed for a night during our spring break & it was great! The property was beautiful. The younger kids had a wonderful time with the huge connect four game & there was excellent WiFi connection for the older kids who are attached to their electronics. Rebecca, the host was very quick to respond anytime I had questions. We had an awesome time. We will definitely be back in the summer!

Michigan lake holidays

We liked the place and getting to Michigan lake for swim took us 10-20 minutes. Hart is small nice town with all you need and we drove to surrounding towns as well. A lot happing around in summer. Apartment is nice and perfect for 4 and can work for 6 if needed. The fact the Hart lake is not great for swimming was the down-side for the location but everything else was great.

It was a delight to host your family! Hart lake is wonderful for kayaking, boating & fishing. You can also swim here, but Lake Mi is truly the pearl in the area!

Great Location

Great place for a long weekend if you like to shop at tourist/gift shops! Pentwater is a short drive away and has numerous shops. Stop at the Jomagrha Winery on the way home and pick up a bottle of wine. Grab dinner at Kristi's Pour House, but be sure to save room for ice-cream across the street. Sit on the balcony and watch the daylight fade away. It's very quiet so you should get a good night's sleep. Continue the fun the next day.

BlueHaven - home away from home

We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The Blue Lagoon is exactly as advertised and could not have been more charming - perfectly in tune with the community of Hart, with it's small businesses and restaurants. We were delighted by the family of swans as they ran their daily circuit of the lake. Nearby to the Silver Lake Dunes, but outside of the tourist fray. We visited the Dunes, took the Mac Woods Dunes tour, visited the Lighthouse, Buttersville Beach (thanks to the host's recommendation), Michigan's Adventure, and caught a movie in nearby Ludington on a rainy day. We really didn't want to leave! Highly recommend this location and host!

Cute place in peaceful town

Cute place in great location. Very clean!! Very peaceful. One bedroom and the family room had great views of Hart Lake. Lots of windows that we liked having open to enjoy the comfortable weather! The unit was decorated very cute and had a lot of what one would need while staying there. (Towels for beach, lots of kitchen accessories, nightlights, coffee/tea bar with sugar/creamer etc.). Ice cube trays and a container to hold ice cubes would have been nice. The only not negatives, but things that I misunderstood or wasn’t aware of was that there are two twin mattresses besides the two queen beds, but the mattresses were just in the closet. Not a real bed. (It worked out fine, just didn’t realize it ahead of time.). Also, for a larger person, the shower is tiny (less than 3 feet by 3 feet on the inside of shower, plus shelves inside shower so somewhat difficult to raise elbows to shampoo etc.). And for an elderly person, or someone with mobility issues, the floor is very uneven/not level. Again totally not dealbreakers, but something I think would be good to know ahead of time in case it was an issue for those staying there. My kids did use the kayaks, which were nice, but there was only one real life jacket. The other three were the inflatable kind and were all broken. (If I had known ahead of time, I would have brought our real life jackets from home.) The walk to the lake wasn’t bad and the lake was very peaceful. They enjoyed kayaking on it.

It was lovely hosting Alison & family! We would have been happy to bring new life jackets had we been informed they were not in proper working use. We will replace them immediately. Also, I do have on my listing that the property has stairs and is not handicap accessible. In addition, the twin beds have platforms in the closets; therefore are actual twin beds- just easily stored away in case a guest does not require the additional beds. This is notated on the listing description. I hope this clarification helps for my future guests. Kindly~ Luis & Rebecca
