The home was very clean and check in was easy, however, the wifi did not work for us the entire time we stayed and the management company and owner did not rectify it. We communicated through messages and telephone calls, but no wifi.

There were a few things that we were disappointed with. You can not see the mountains from this house. It's like sitting in your living room at home. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. So it was a nice get away, I just wanted to be able to see mountains. Also the pillows are very flat. They need to be replaced. The sheets did not fit the king bed and they kept coming off. The porch lights(party lights) 1/2-3/4 are burned out. FYI Also We arrived at 3 o'clock. I know check in is at 4. We text, and asked if we could check in early. We had a 4 o'clock appointment so we just wanted to put our things down and leave. We were told no. I thought maybe they were cleaning the house , we went to check to see if we could find the property, no one was there. At that point, I wondered why we couldn't check in.

Great place! Loved how clean it was and the master bed was comfortable. A couple of observations: change out the master bathroom fan as it is loud and doesnā€™t work well; box fan in master bedroom- knob is stripped and canā€™t change speed; and the hot water kettle in the kitchen wouldnā€™t work. Thanks!

Comfy stay

Our family enjoyed staying at this lovely house at Lake Junaluska. It was clean and had ample space for what we needed as a home base. We loved spending time in the beautiful town of Waynesville and mountains nearby.

Nice home in a great location.

The home was supplied with all we needed with great parking. The location was perfect for Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding areas. Easy access to Cherokee and the Smokies.

Nice Location, great parking

Nice place to stay. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of plates and cups for all. Smelled a little "doggy" but that is to be expected as it is a pet friendly listing (we don't have a pet). The bed in the master was too firm for my liking, but the other beds were comfy. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Nice big t.v. in the main living area. Outdoor porch is very good place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Nice cool A/C inside. Great off street parking. Just a reminder for all who stay here DO NOT PUT OUT YOUR TRASH. It has to stay in the laundry/bathroom due to bears in the area.

The house and location were great. However, the main door keypad stopped working on day 2 and was pretty annoying and inconvenientā€¦that needs to be fixed/addressed.

The listing states there is a pool shared by the community. I reached out multiple times to find this pool and no one could help me. I also tried to find the amenities offered and no one could help with that, either. I booked this home from what was on the listing as I have children and they would have enjoyed what the home had to offer, but I received no assistance in finding them.

Great place to relax

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and clean. Lake Junaluska was beautiful! Waynesville and Maggie Valley had lots of shopping and restaurants. SOCO falls was cool and the views on the blue ridge parkway were amazing.

Very nice place!

Great place to stay. The house was clean. It was nice! 2 things that need attention in my opinion... 1. The door was not shut all the way when we arrived so the house wasnt secure. 2. The coffee maker ruined one of our mornings! I dunno whats wrong with that thing but it brewed a pot of coffee all over the countertop. We were finally able to get it to work but i had stand next to it and make sure it was going into the pot. Then the pot was full of grounds so we had to filtet it again. Im sure this is not a big deal to most people but as addicted coffee drinkers every morning it was a pain. Replace the coffee maker! Lol. All in all it was a really great stay in an awesome location with scenic mountain views all around. Thanks for the stay!

Great Hideaway in the Mountains

Stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving and this was a great place that is close enough to things but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Master bedroom is on the first floor which makes things very easy. Will definitely consider this place next time.

Peaceful Retreat

This home was perfect for our family to relax, play number pool, and cook for everyone. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of dishes and utensils. I had never stayed in a pet friendly home before, and was a little worried. Twylaā€™s place had no evidence of pets ever being there! It was super clean! We also had access to the pool and putt putt course at the lake! What a fun trip!

Perfect House and Location with couple of caveat

The house is in a great location for activities around Lake Junaluska and Asheville area. Only two complaints though. First is that the trash can was full when we got there and so had to keep the full trash bags in the laundry room until the trash pickup on Wednesday. The fill valve in the master bathroom kept getting stuck. Had to keep opening the tank lid and pushing down on the fill valve float.
