This charming cottage is set in a wooded area with a gated entrance. This private setting is located only twenty minutes from beautiful Harbor Springs and twenty minutes from the famous Mackinac Bridge.
In the upper level there is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and two bedrooms featuring cedar built in bunk beds and a full bathroom. The main level has a dining room and a living room with a fieldstone fireplace overlooking the beautiful lake. The kitchen is open so that you can view Lake Michigan from there as well. There is a half bath and back room 'den' for watching satellite flat screen TV with Blue Ray.
Amenities: The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee pot, and 4-slice toaster, everything you would need in a kitchen. There is a utility room with a washer and dryer. There is a Stereo\CD in the living room and a TV in the den with Direct Satellite System. We also have WiFi. On the large, outside deck is a table for dining with umbrella and various tables and chairs to seat several visitors. A gas grill on the front deck is available as well as a Weber charcoal grill in the back of the house for cooking. Blankets and pillows are provided. Renter provides bedding, bath and kitchen linens.
There are numerous well-acclaimed golf courses in the area as well as swimming, beach walking, hiking, biking and kayaking.
Area: Enjoy wonderful shopping in the Gaslight area of downtown Petoskey and Harbor Springs along with many fine area restaurants. There is a ferry service in Mackinaw City to historic Mackinac Island. It’s a 30 minutes scenic boat ride across the Straits of Mackinac which separates Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, where you will view the Mackinac Bridge, longest suspension bridge in the world connecting Michigan’s Lower to the Upper Peninsula.
We are located 20 minutes north of Harbor Springs and 20 minutes south of Mackinaw City on beautiful Lake Michigan. It is just a fifteen-minute drive to Pellston Regional Airport serviced by Delta Airlines.
Biking: The North Country National Scenic Trail goes through Harbor Springs and Cross Village and up to Mackinaw City. It is an excellent area for biking along the shoreline of Lake Michigan providing outstanding scenery.
