This Non-Smoking home is located within a serene paradise... Numerous lush trees with beautiful mountain views... A sanctuary in the desert! Within this spectacular community, you will have full privileges to all that this community has to offer; two pools including a lap pool and a separate children’s play pool, Jacuzzi, and tennis courts. Nearby is a third pool that remains heated year round. The home is tastefully furnished with all the amenities and comforts of a luxury home.

In the surrounding areas of this paradise, you’ll find much to do to fill your day... You can see major league baseball spring training (in March) or take a short drive to the downtown Phoenix Sports Complex (less than 30 minutes) and, depending on the season, see the Phoenix Suns, Cardinals, Coyotes, or the 2001 World Champion Diamondbacks. Taking a tour of the Chase Field Ball Park is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. This ball park is a must see while in the area. In addition to the retractable roof and air conditioning (in a ball park!), there is a swimming pool!

There is always the unmatched splendor of the Grand Canyon within a four-hour drive. On your way to or from the Grand Canyon you can stop by to see the inspiring red rocks of Sedona (be sure to take a jeep ride while you are there). There are also the old west towns of Prescott and Jerome within an easy couple of hours drive time. Tucson is also a brief hour and a half drive.

Relaxing and Comfortable

The neighborhood is attractive, well-kept and quiet. The home is clean and comfortable. We do not have pets and did not detect any pet odor from previous renters who had pets. Backyard is wonderful and very private; neighbors cannot see in. We enjoyed our daily 1-1/2 mile morning walks from the house which looped around two parks and was away from traffic for three fourths of the way. Everything worked perfectly. The owner contacted us during the middle of our 3 month stay to see how things were going and if we needed anything which we didn't. Having a garage to park the car in is always a bonus. We had a great time staying in this home and hope to do it again.

Fantastic!

We spent an entire month at this property. Everything about the home is lovely. The beds are comfortable and the house is well equipped. The backyard was a sunny oasis. The hosts, Gregory and Sandra, were wonderful. The property is close to everything - airport, attractions, shopping, and so on.

We loved staying here! A+++

The owners are excellent and fast communicators. The house was immaculate and well furnished and the location is very convenient. We could walk to the tennis courts and the outdoor pool with a hot tub. The backyard is spacious and has a wonderful Murial on the back wall. We enjoyed seeing the owls at night in the tree next door. We are looking forward to staying next year.

Location is Everything

A lovely home with artistic touches & decor. Located in a quiet community near the best of outdoor amenities including walking, hiking, cycling, running & an outdoor heated swimming pool. Shopping & dining are nearby & plentiful. Sandra & Greg were very responsive & accommodating. We quickly felt at home & enjoyed our time immensely.

Very nice area

This house is very tastefully decorated, and the view of south mountain out the front door is great. The backyard is charming and very nice with the freshly installed simulated grass

This is a nice property in a nice neighbourhood.

The 3 bedroom house was good for our stay with our daughter and her son and baby. There was plenty of space for our playing and relaxing needs in November. We didn't use the backyard much, except for the gas grill. Beds and bedding were very good and comfortable and the bath and shower facilities were good. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, which was good for toddler walks. Community amenities, included pools, tennis courts and playgrounds, all very attractive. We used only the playgrounds with our toddlers. The house is reasonably close to good grocery shopping and restaurants.

Perfect location for us!

House was clean and well equipped, everything that we needed. Owner was great to communicate with and had a wonderful cake waiting for us upon our arrival which was very welcoming!!

Our Phoenix travels

We Try to visit our grandkids a couple times a year. It was nice to visit and not worry about disturbing other guest in a hotel when we are out late in the evening. The home was well stocked with kitchen dinner ware and plenty of bath towels Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Frank & Pat

Ahwatukee Delight!

What a wonderful, quiet, cute and friendly neighborhood! We stayed two months while in transition of homes and the owner made us feel very welcome and informed, it was awesome. She responds quickly and it's obvious that she cares about the tenant's happiness. The home was perfect -- comfortable, well stocked, light & bright, and has a lot of great artwork to enjoy (most which I believe may be by the owner who is an artist). The location was extremely convenient as we wanted to be close to ASU and the airport, but in a relaxing community with parks and places to walk. It only took 20 minutes or less to get wherever we were going. Highly recommend this home!

Very nice place to stay. The backyard is amazing and very peaceful to sit back and relax. The outdoor facilities available are truly fantastic, the unheated pools were a little chilly but only because our stay was in April. The heated pool was very close and accommodating. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the homes are very close to one another. If your plans include a large group or loud activities outside, this house is not the place for you. It was perfect for what we were looking for. The owner was helpful in providing everything we needed. It is centrally located to shopping, zoo, other tourist attractions and the airport.

Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood.

The location is perfect for getting around the Phoenix and surrounding areas. With three bedrooms, there’s plenty of room for family. We loved the park and pool area just down the street to walk our dog.

A fantastic house with a great location - PERFECT for families and children

My husband and I stayed in this home with our two young boys (ages 2 1/2 and 4) for two weeks during Spring Training. The house is lovely, comfortable and clean. It was equipped with everything we needed to feel at home during our stay. Sandy even brought over tons of toys for our boys to play with! The backyard isn't huge, but was perfect for barbecuing and was a great place for our kids to play. There is a neighborhood pool one block from the house, but it isn't heated and was too cold to use in March. There is a heated community pool about 2 miles from the house. It is a huge pool with lots of seating and lounging areas. We swam there quite a bit and it was never crowded. There is a great playground/park just a few blocks from the house. There are also walking/jogging paths nearby. The city of Ahwatukee is a fantastic place to stay. I've heard from more than one person that it is known as the family cul-de-sac of Phoenix. It is a newer area with lots of shopping and restaurants. We had a fantastic vacation and I would highly recommend this rental, particularly for a family with children.

Great home, great time

We have stayed here twice now with our two children. The owners really go the extra mile to customize toys/gear appropriately for the kids. It is such a pleasure to vacation in such a nice home with virtually every amenity our little family needs. Owners seem eager for input on what else guests might like to have available in the home, but I can't think of a single thing. Great location, quiet street, but close to SO much. I will stay here every time we come to Phoenix - if we're lucky enough that it is not booked up already!

Perfect home for family vacation

Our family (2 adults, 3 boys ages 6, 2, and 2) had a wonderful week in this home in April 2011. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Owners are friendly, helpful. The back yard was a play haven for our little boys, and the neighborhood was wonderful for our older boy (quiet street for biking). We all enjoyed the proximity to very nice playgrounds in the neighborhood, as well as the pool. My husband and I trail run and mountain bike, and there is great access to South Mountain Park (about a mile to the closest entry point). Also great access to paved bike path system, greenbelt. Very quiet location, but super close to supermarket, restaurants, and Interstate 15. This house is a great value, we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot to call home for a Phoenix/Ahwatukee vacation. The listing description is very accurate, and the photos show the property in its true form. Very clean, well-maintained. Owners even dropped off some extra toys for our kids to enjoy for the week, very gracious.

I am a professional artist/author, and lived in this house for five years before meeting my husband. This house was such a great place to live we don't ever want to sell it! We try to make it super comfortable, and welcoming for all to enjoy. The ultimate compliment is when our guests return. We have been doing this for almost fourteen years so we are doing something right! We just remodeled our kitchen/bath. Granite countertops with high end cabinetry makes this the ultimate gourmet kitchen that is open and warm. We live very close just a few miles away if you need anything. We also own an art studio Be...An Artist which is less than three miles away. We have comedy nights, painting nights and all sorts of activities for adults and children for when you have guests.

This is the best area because it is close to everything! You could walk to stores for great shopping, coffee shops, movies, ride bikes on greenbelts, swim, golf, play tennis, etc.. so much to do. The neighborhood is VERY charming with little black lamp posts and trees throughout.

This is a quiet neighborhood with very respectful neighbors. If you are looking to have a loud party here, it is NOT the house or neighborhood for you. The pools are great for laying out, swimming, or just reading and relaxing. This house is perfect for two people but could sleep up to six.
