Great location just outside the hustle & bustle of downtown CB

This property served our needs as a great base to be able to do some hikes, have great dinners downtown, but have quiet away from town at night.

Ski trip

This property is close to the action yet secluded in serene. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future. What a wonderful place with all the amenities!

Great stay - great home. Kitchen is equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING you could want plus. Lots of extra (and good quality) towels & linens. Advice - check out the home before making your walmart order. Recently when we stay in peoples homes, we have had to purchase the extra things you need - kleenex, to, paper towels - this home was fully stocked with all of that plus things you need to cook.The rooms are comfortably furnished with plenty of room for a large family.This VRBO deserves 10 stars!

Check-in was super easy, and Scot even allowed us to check in early which was very nice! It’s hard to find a place in Crested Butte with a bad view and this place is no exception. Gorgeous views all around, and access to trails right down the road. Downtown is a short and incredibly beautiful 10 minute drive. Scot’s place was very spacious, stocked with everything we needed, and he replied to any messages I sent quickly. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect for our whole family!

We were in CB for my sister's wedding and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of space for the toddlers to run around and play, big rooms for all our stuff, and Scot was so helpful and accommodating!

Our stay was such a special time to enjoy the amenities of this beautiful home and attend the Wildflower Festival in nearby Crested Butte. The home was immaculate and there was attention to every detail.We hope to return and we want to thank Scot for providing information and being receptive in acknowledging any questions or concerns.
The house faced the beautiful "crested butte", which we could enjoy from the front porch and the second floor balcony.

Fantastic equipped kitchen and lots of space.

Plenty of room inside. Our host, Scot, always replied promptly and was easy to work with. There is a great kitchen to cook big meals and the stars at night were great.

Awesome experience!

This house is perfect for any vacation. It’s in a great location and has all the amenities you need. It’s very spacious and makes you feel right at home. My experience was great! I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Crested Butte.

CB South great place to stay

Great location, close to the free bus to CB mountain and Gunnison. Fun Snow Shoe and cross country trails nearby. The house is well equipped with supplies. Kitchen has everything you need to cook all meals. Host is responsive to any requests

I have stayed in a number of VRBOs over the years. This was a disappointment to say the least. Trash around the outdoors, dusty inside, curtains broken, etc. The place has possibilities, but the owner(s) need to pay attention to their place.

Love CB South

We did a week long Spring Break stay at Scot’s home in CB South. Quiet and ultra convenient location that was walkable to several good restaurants and a coffee shop. Bus to town and mountain was only an 8 minute walk away. There was also a trail head just a short walk East of the house. The house itself is setup really well for families or groups of individuals. Bedrooms are separated, plenty of common space, nice big equipped kitchen, and outdoor spaces as well. Scot is excellent host and very easy to communicate with and get the most out of your stay. Definitely recommend this listing.

Great stay

When I showed up to the elegant cabin my husband Lenard and I were so excited. We couldn’t wait to see the mountain and the town! We ended up enjoying each others company sitting on the second story balcony! Little did I know he popped the question!!! I was so emotional at the time but the art on the walls grounded me. It made me feel safe enough to commit to an answer to his question! I said yes!! Will be honest my first time taking it in back was a little alarming. He ravaged me in the hobbit hole. Took me for all my worth right there on the hardwood floor. V NICE PLACE!

Curb appeal lacking

We loved the inside . Very spacious. Outside needs attention. Old tires, ladders, empty propane tanks, and weeds all around. Neighborhood includes a dog kennel. Beautiful view of mountains. "Extra room" showing three beds had one bed only, and accessible only by jumping into an attic entry from the stairwell. Would not work for most. We enjoyed our stay but I will not return.

Mary, thanks for taking the time to write a review and leaving 4 stars. I’m glad you liked the interior. I spent 3 months and $30,000 last year to completely redo the inside of the place. I appreciate your feedback about the outside as well but would like to clarify some misunderstandings and inaccuracies: 1. There is a small section of space by the entrance that’s used for storage of tools and items that I use when I stay there. The ladders are used to work on the house, same with the wheelbarrow, rakes and other tools. 2. There is no “extra room” provided on my listing with “3 extra beds” and there never has been. The listing has always been 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room space with a pullout couch. I tried to contact you to ask you about it but haven’t heard a response. I wish that you would have contacted me to get a better understanding of what happened and been more willing to communicate about issues. As a host I’m not able to fix problems that I’m not aware of. In the future, to help everyone have a better time, please be more communicative with your hosts and allow them to troubleshoot your issues before posting reviews about your stay that might be inaccurate or remedied by a short conversation.
