Are you ready to get CABIN FEVER?l! Our cozy A-Frame Cabin in North Hall County (more quiet) end of Lake Lanier - about 1 hr north of Atlanta. Access is limited so you may see more deer than people! The Space:

CABIN FEVER (which is fully fenced and dog friendly w/pet fee) was designed to be a peaceful getaway where families and friends can really get away from it all. The cabin is located within a short walk to the lake where you can launch a kayak or swim. Be sure to read all the details below and our house rules (which can be found in the house rules section!)



LIVING SPACE:

The living room boasts loads of light in this cozy space with modern/comfortable furnishings. There is a smart TV and electric fireplace.



KITCHEN DINING:

While the Kitchen itself is quite basic, it has everything you need to cook. Our Airbnb's are always known for having well stocked kitchens and this one is no exception. We even provide a full spice rack. And if you love coffee... we have a full luxury coffee bar waiting for you! Choose a Keurig Pod or Brew a whole pot... it's up to you. Many flavors of pods available (including hot chocolate for the kiddos) and Regular + Decaf grounds are provided for brewing. Of course we provide a variety of Tea Bags & electric kettle as well!



Gather the family around the dining table that seats 6 comfortably and feel free to utilize the popcorn machine to enjoy a treat while watching a movie! We provide the popcorn kits!



GAME/HOBBY ROOM:

This is the hang out space you've always wanted. Enjoy the 80's gaming table with 1500 old school games (2 player option available)! A smart TV is also in this space as well as several family friendly board games. Use the big floor pillows to sit and play on the big coffee table or use some of the craft supplies provided to create some art! The futon can be made into a bed if needed. In the mudroom/entrance to the house you'll also find a shuffleboard to challenge your fellow guests.



OUTDOOR AREA:

We hope you enjoy the outdoor area as much as we do! The fire pit is available to use and wood is provided. There is a large sectional perfect for sitting and catching up with memorable conversations. And no southern porch would be complete without a couple rocking chairs! The upper deck is where you'll find the Big Green Egg grill and outdoor table that comfortably sits 6 people. The yard is also fully fenced so if you're bringing a pup, they will enjoy a good round of fetch there :) Note that the lake is just a quick walk down a dirt path, and kayaks can be launched from the shore there but the docks are not our property and no trespassing is allowed. If you're bringing a boat, there is a public boat launch just 10 mins away and there is plenty of parking for a truck w/boat trailer on the driveway!



SLEEPING AREAS:

The largest room can be found on the main level across the hall from the main bathroom. It features a King Bed with memory foam mattress and cozy sheets and duvet. There is a desk in the room to utilize for work/homework if needed!



The lower level boasts another room with a Kind Bed and desk. The same memory foam mattress and sheets can be found on this bed as well. It is right next to the other full bathroom. Because this is on the lowest level, this room does remain the coolest. A space heater is provided for those extra cold nights since the furnace is calibrated for the main living level.



The loft is a special place that is outfitted with two XL Twin beds (think college dorm length vs. kid length) with memory foam mattresses and cozy sheets/duvets. This area is obviously the warmest area of the house so having the ceiling fan on in the summer to help the air circulate is a good idea!



BATHROOMS:

The main bathroom has a bathtub/shower, toilet, & sink. The 2nd bathroom has a shower, toilet, & sink. Just like the Kitchen, both bathrooms are fairly basic but they get the job done! Both bathrooms have a hair dryer to utilize.



LAUNDRY ROOM:

Guests are welcome to use the washer & dryer. detergent and dryer sheets are provided.



*A pet fee of $20/dog per night is charged during your stay to help cover the extra cleaning expense



Guest Access:

Guests enter the house through a door with a digital lock.



The Neighborhood:

Rural area about an hour north of Atlanta



Getting Around:

The driveway can fit several cars as well as a trailer. It is not advised to park a very long RV due to the unpaved road and limited space to turn around



Other Things to Note:

Due to the remoteness of this cabin, there is a very short unpaved section of the road to the house. A 4WD is recommended but a 2WD can do the short section just fine as long as you're not towing a trailer or something! To give you an idea, amazon and UPS trucks get up and down just fine as well as a 2WD Toyota Camry, etc.
