United States Discover Your Hide Away-Oceanside Oregon is located just 9 miles from Tillamook. It is the perfect laid back coastal community where you will enjoy all the local amenities for the perfect beach excursion. The best panoramic views from inside the house or enjoy a beverage on the deck while watching the beach activities, surfing, wind sailing, kiting, kayaking, and hang gliding. You won't want to hesitate to book your trip soon.
Guests please note we have a small set of stairs inside which gain access to the 2nd level. Please use caution and use the hand rail going up and down. All children must be supervised on the stairs, decks and hot tub areas. Please note if the hot tub is out of service due to maintenance issues the only adjustments on fees will be the $15.00 daily service fee. We make every attempt to keep the spa serviced and operational, but on occasion we have to close it due to repair turnaround. Please note checkout is at 11:00 AM. **2 ring outdoor cameras are located on the property for security. One aimed at passage garage door and one aimed at trail behind hot tub. We have a strict no pet policy, a $500. damage fee is placed on any guest not adhering to this policy. Our family has Allergies to animals. We kindly ask if you have service dogs to rent another house.

Excellent views of the surf, rock formations, and the ocean out to the horizon in a wide angle view. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the waves was a highlight of the stay. Also walking to the beach access point and stopping for a coffee was delightful. Lots of stairs to get up to the house but the views are worth it.

Stormy weekend. Unfortunately didnt get to use all the deck space outside.......But thank goodness for the fire place inside and the cozy atmosphere. It was very clean with one exception. Some dust underneathe the upstairs bed. Very minor but my daughter is sensitive allergenically. Probably would not have been as bad if the storm (which we loved) didnt keep us inside. At any rate, wonderful view, great kitchen amenities, cozy couch,and fireplace worked well. Only negatives were not being able to park in garage (couldnt open door with code--maybe a battery problem). Unloading in the stormy weather was not fun. And couldnt figure out how to use the TV in upstairs bedroom for my daughter. (Maybe this was a good thing....ha ha) other than that we had a pleasant visit

This home is unique as it is beautiful. The views are wonderful and sitting on the patio was breathtaking! Hot tub was very hot as they are supposed to be and loved it, it was a nice added bonus to the property. Oceanside is a sleepy town but plenty to do once you venture out a bit. So many points of beauty everywhere including just hanging out at Edelweiss. We also had great weather in which was another added bonus-

Well maintained property. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck overlooking the ocean. The hot tub and fire pit was a bonus. The house was equipped with everything you might need. The only downside were the stairs, if you have mobility issues or small children this might not work for you. It was not an issue for us, but you should be aware. I would definitely stay here again

This is a beautiful home! Very clean and well kept. It is well stocked with everything you might need. The hot tub was a huge hit with the family and the view is amazing. The host was extremely responsive. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great place. It felt like we were staying at a family cabin. The shower was surprisingly fantastic. What a view. The pictures just don't capture it. We went up and down the coast and we all agree this is the best location. It's far enough away from the 101 that it feels secluded. Easily walk to the beach and cafes. We had coffee and breakfast each morning at Current Cafe and it was fantastic. Close enought to Tillamook to have a lot of dinner choices. We can't wait to return.

Fun Week on the Beach

Had a great stay. The property was just as listed. The beach was much less crowded than other areas along the coast we visited. Great trip!

Perfect location in a smaller, quieter town. House was well equipped with everything we needed and the robes were very cozy! We tried out 2 of the restaurants in Oceanside and loved them! Can’t wait to go back to this great spot!

Our family enjoyed the stay at Edelweiss. The view is fabulous. The house was clean and well maintained. It's not extravagant but nice and practical. The communication from our host was excellent. If we visit the area again, we would definitely consider booking Edelweiss.

Cozy getaway

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and could not have been happier, it was such a lovely little place and perfect location. Loved sitting on the deck watching the waves and listening to the ocean. Beautiful view of the sunset. Would definitely stay here again

Just right!

We loved our stay. The house was clean and cozy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I had forgotten to bring games and was delighted to find plenty to choose from. The view was spectacular and it was easy access to the beach.

Relaxing birthday weekend

Our time here was so relaxing and memorable. We had everything we needed to stay cozy, use the hot tub, and make delicious meals. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the entire property was clean and the instructions that were left were clear. We had a great time!

I was fortunate to grow up in the nearby community of Tillamook. My grandfather came from Switzerland in the early 1900's and founded one of the dairy farms in the area. I spent many days lounging on the beaches of Oceanside while I was growing up. My dream was to come back and purchase a home at the beach to feel young again. You will be mesmerized by the beauty of this coastal town. I know the history and area very well and love to share information and my chalet with guests. The photo is me in Switzerland where Grandpa was born.

I chose this beautiful property because I believe Oceanside Oregon is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I love the drive down Hwy 6 to the town of Oceanside along the Wilson River from Portland. Many waterfalls and scenic spots. We settle in unpack and the magic takes over. You pretty much forget the rest of your other world. I love to cook so we venture to the locale fish markets and purchase crab, clams, and fish and really have a feast. I love sitting on the deck watching the boats, whales, sea lions, surfers while soaking up some sun.
