Hi Barbara, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the kitchen size and only having 2 chairs for the table. The pictures provided on the listing accurately shows the size and layout of the kitchen so that you can decide ahead of time if the space will work for you before booking. I'm glad you felt the sleeping arrangements provided plenty of space and that you otherwise enjoyed your visit with us at the Front Porch Cottage. I would like to suggest looking into our Back Porch cottage for any future visits as that unit has a table space large enough that it can accommodate 4 chairs! Best wishes!

Thanks for the review Gregory! We already sent someone up to the property yesterday to take a look at the hot water heater so thanks for letting us know about the concern. The rods can go bad quickly in areas with hard water and I suspect that might be the issue as this is the first we've heard of hot water running out for our guests. We acquired the property in November 2022 and put most of the efforts into the inside of the units before the season started. The decks are definitely next! Excited to get started on them this fall! We hope you and your family will come back again to stay at Turtle Stone!

Disappointing? That's not the kind of feedback we aim to receive. I truly wish your communication had matched your review, allowing us to work together to create a more enjoyable experience. I can only assist when made aware of issues during your stay. The six nights you stayed were extremely hot and humid as you yourself pointed out, which undoubtedly put a strain on the AC. Our listing accurately depicts the AC setup, including the use of window units and the absence of central air. Our cleaning crew is exceptional. If you had informed me about any overlooked fans, the situation would have been promptly addressed. After the box fan was delivered, I was unaware of any ongoing discomfort. The orange room with twin beds features hangers and hanging storage shelves in the closet for clothing. The master bedroom includes closet space and a folding luggage rack for your bag. I apologize if you didn't find it in the closet for your use. I'm delighted to hear you found the location, parking, keyless entry, host communication, hot water, and kitchen satisfactory. I hope you found some enjoyment in the amenities on the front porch. We love enjoying the porch swings and gas fireplace at night when we stay at the property ourselves.
