Newly remodeled LAKE HOUSE with HOT TUB, Game Room, Large DECK on PAW PAW LAKE

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry you feel that way! I wish you would have let us know during your stay, oversights do happen but we easily could have fixed these issues for you: - I live close by, could have brought more tp and paper towels - The kayak paddles go missing quite often- I also keep extras and I could have brought one over - I could have fixed the closet- it has now been fixed within an hour of your review - I also fixed the grill within an hour of this review, would have been happy to do so for you during your stay - our cleaners are great and occasionally miss things, but I’m positive the linens were clean. On the other hand, clearly we’re not dealing with geniuses here. - The hot tub was cloudy because the professional servicing team had just placed fresh chemicals to for pH balance and water cleanliness, hence the cloudiness - we give enough toilet paper (3 rolls per bathroom!) and paper towels to get you started (as most airbnbs do) but we don’t supply an entire stay at a house that sleeps 13. Thats pretty standard. Also this guest threw out our washcloths, lost all of the ping pong balls and foosballs, and left our brand new full propane tank open and it completely emptied. But we are forgiving as things happen, so I still left them 5 stars; clearly this guest is not as kind or compassionate. This is the worst review we have ever received in 5 years at 4 airbnbs, at a house that consistently gets 5 stars. The record would clearly show that this is unfortunately not a property problem, but a problem guest. Nevertheless, we are working tirelessly to always improve and do better for our future guests!

We will work to address the issues you mentioned right away, as we are always striving to improve the guest experience. I will talk with our cleaners also- even the best cleaners miss a thing or two occasionally, but they will be eager to get feedback and improve also. The cleaners are the ones who set the cleaning rates, and this is a pretty standard rate for this size rental. I can’t imagine your cleaners at home change and wash all of the sheets and towels and clean up outside for you, so I’m not surprised that ours charge more. Otherwise I’m really glad you had a good time overall and enjoyed our beautiful property!

Hi Carmie, thank you for your honest review. We apologize for the issues you ran into. Our cleaners are excellent in general but occasionally miss things. We have discussed the issues with them in order to have them rectified for next time. We also had the cleaners come out to the house immediately when we heard of the issues, so I hope that helped. In addition, we gave free access to the kayaks and watercraft when you reported the issues. Otherwise we are always working to improve for the next guests so your feedback is greatly appreciated.
