We had the perfect stay! This super cute bungalow was even better in person than in the photos! It is in a great location to explore all the northern parts of Kauai, then come back after a day of exploring, hiking, beach going, -- or all three and relax by the plunge pool and finally fall asleep in a very comfy bed! It is an older place but with beautiful upgrades and very clean. We would definitely recommend to others and would love to stay again ourselves. Aloha!

The home was absolutely gorgeous, quiet, clean and private. After a hustle and bustle of the day, it was so nice to just unwind and relax...like you are supposed to on vacation! Amazing communications and I would absolutely stay there again!

This fantastic cottage was a stone’s throw from all the north shore activities you could want in Kauai. We loved how bright and open the space was with comfy but stylish furniture. Beds and showers were perfect. Beach equipment was available to use.The plunge pool was the best feature for the two of us….we used it night and day. We even spent an entire morning skipping the beach to stay at the cottage to enjoy the private pool! Overall we had a relaxing stay. Every need was met. The home is beautiful and private surrounded by lush greenery. We would definitely book this again for the location, the amenities and the privacy.

An island oasis!

The cottage we rented was adorable! Our stay was made amazing by the clean, spacious house and Princeville offered many great activities. The private pool overlooking the lush rainforest really was the cherry on top.

Our first time in Kauai, we were thrilled to go and explore the island. Many folks suggested we stay in Princeville area, so I THOUGHT I booked a beautiful lil bungalow. Boy, was I mistaken, before even entering the property I smelled mildew...once I opened the door it smacked me right in the face, so strong and it was HOT in the house. I understand not having the AC on when no one is staying, but the stench of mildew was so overwhelming. My asthmatic husband started coughing immediately, we thought ok, the house has been shut up with no AC on so we turned the AC on got the ceiling fans going thinking once the house cooled down it would be better, but it was not. So much so we did not unpack our suitcases or put anything in the dressers provided. Although we did not unpack ALL of our clothing and suitcases reeked of the stench of mildew. The patio was not as described nor were the pictures accurate on VRBO. Hurricane Lowell came thru and we had no power for 4 days, when I contacted the owners about hurricane provisions, I was told to evacuate, WHERE??? We had to buy our own provisions and suffered for 4 days, no power, no ac, nothing from the owners checking to see if we were ok or needed anything. Roof leaking on us in 3 different locations and solar panels were installed but no instructions on how to utilize them. Dead roaches in the bathroom and kitchen silverware drawer. Pool was dirty and the patio was covered in mildew and debris. Was a very disappointing 7 days.

Cute Great Private Location with Splash Pool

Enjoy the best of Kauai as you have easy access to North Shore beaches but quiet private pool and clean refuge. We used the restaurants and bars of 1 Hotel without having to stay there. Hanalei is a gem with Hanelei Dolphin our favorite fresh fish. Highly recommend.

Sweet Private Cottage

We highly recommend this ultra clean lovely cottage! The lights were on for us when we arrived making us feel so welcome! The cottage was so clean and had every amenity we needed to make our stay comfortable! We loved the pool area which was so relaxing and completely private! We even hiked down to the mostly private pristine beach! Why would anyone choose a busy resort? We will return!

Excellent location and top notch accommodation

Beautiful house with a lovely layout and a totally private plunge pool. A nice walk to multiple restaurants and shopping options. Register for a Foodland discount card on your first visit to save serious money. Could not recommend it more. Well worth the cost.

We loved staying here. As advertised, this is a lovely stand-alone cottage with everything you need to enjoy cooking food you can get locally, go on great walks, enjoy the private pool, and get to some beautiful beaches and hikes. We rested well on the primary bed and never heard any of the neighbors unless we saw them in the parking area. The grounds are very beautiful and we loved being surrounded by beautiful trees where we could hear birds. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a private getaway with easy access to beaches, hikes, and other Kaua’i experiences.
