Accommodations: The Beach on Longboat Key is a relaxing, yet modern retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, located mid-island on Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including studio, hotel, one- and two-bedroom units. Enjoy all the amenities of home in these fully furnished condominiums including LCD, flat-screen TVs, full-sized kitchen or kitchenette with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, private patio or balcony (2 brdms only), dining area, and modern, yet beachy, décor.



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of The Beach on Longboat Key #101 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

So much to love about this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: FANTASTIC sunset views over the gulf of America. Walk right out of your condo onto the beach... you can't get much better than that. And we loved the entire Saratoga area. Had a nice date lunch on St. Armands Circle on St. Armands Island. Though the facility looked dated from the outside it is in a VERY nice neighborhood with beach mansions all around. The inside was updated to look modern. The front door locks didn't seems very secure/safe but there was a deadbolt for when you were in the condo apartment to lock yourself in. It was a little strange to walk directly into the unit and be right in the master bedroom but it wasn't the end of the world... HOWEVER, THERE IS A LIGHT JUST OUTSIDE the master bedroom that shines through the window all night. We had to hang up a towel and put a pillow over that window to make it dark enough to sleep. Nice Kitchen and appliances. Suitable dining room area. Nice bathrooms. The Smart TVs gave us a little trouble. Couldn't finish our cheesy holiday Hallmark movie. The pool water was warm during a cooler time of year when we visited. The check-in process was a little funny. The directions in the email and app that we downloaded said we could check-in with the office onsite but that did not end up being accurate. There is an office just down the road that we found the address and number for and we had to drive down there (maybe 1 mile or less away) to get our keys. Also the wifi did not work for us immediately but later it was working after the staff checked on it. Also, the credentials for the wifi weren't accurate in the email and app that we downloaded. That said, we enjoyed the place and it was a good price. Very nice area and lots to do. Can't get over the sunsets. I could retire here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is well appointed and spacious. Amenities galore! This unit can sleep five but we were only two so we had plenty of space. Comfortable bed and plenty of beach towels. Had some trouble working the tv’s but eventually got it sorted.

Condo definitely needs some updating. The pictures on the Vrbo don’t match what you get. A lot of construction going on and around the property. Proximity to the beach was fantastic! Our refrigerator went out but it was taken care of the next day. Also..a very bright porch light shines into the master bedroom and there was no way to turn off.

Needs some attention

Great location. Beautiful Gulf view! Wonderful weather.Not enough beach lounge chairs for 14 units.Be careful walking off back patio! There are exposed irrigation pipes/lines and rusty electrical conduit.Could use a couple of sauce pans in the kitchen.Old pictures of what the property looks like.

We did have a broken dishwasher which didn't bother us as we usually use paper products on vacation. This is our second stay with RVA. Both times we reported maintenance needs. Neither were addressed during our stays.

All of the beds were very uncomfortable, and I even considered coming home early because of them. If they replaced the beds, I believe this place will get repeat customers. Old and tired

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We lived the location of this unit, directly on the beach. However, the unit needed to be painted, deep cleaned, and updated. The dishwasher didn’t work well, the furniture was outdated in the main living area, and there were things that were sub-standard overall, like the lighting(not enough) and the water never got hot enough. The place needs to be refreshed. The bedroom was the best part of the unit, as the furniture had been updated and the mattress was comfortable. I wouldn’t rent this unit again, unless there are changes made.

Living area very nice, very clean, lanai spacious and private with easy access to pool. Kitchen had nice appliances and eat-in area. Easy access onto Gulf of Mexico Drive-lots of restaurants within a short drive-be sure to check out Lazy Lobster and go over bridge to Cortez-Seafood Shack-great food and prices-seafood super fresh. My husband and I would highly recommend The Beach!

Access to the beautiful beach was a short walk further. This rental had all of the necessities covered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First time in Longboat Key

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach location and pool was excellent, bbq as advertised lacked propane and I brought this up to the maintenance guy who mentioned that he could not replace the tank due to the time, approximately 4:30 pm. Secondary tank was empty and in bad shape! AC condenser was in the main bedroom that made a lot of noise. My wife who is very conscientious about cleaning said that the room was poorly cleaned. We would have expected higher standards for the price. We will not recommend this rental unit or any on this property. Sorry but being truthful!

Perfect getaway

So, if you’re looking for something to get away, quiet, peaceful retreat with beautiful sunsets away from the center of town. This is it. I stayed in unit 101, it’s big enough, perfect sunsets from the patio. Pool and beach are right there which is convenient when traveling with 2 toddlers. The unit needs some TLC and a very deep cleaning maybe even some paint, but overall it’s a great unit and I’ll definitely be back!

Nice Unit, BUT . . . .

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit #101 is a nice,convenient location. We enjoyed staying there. The office staff was very helpful also. Our thoughts are that the grounds of the property and on the patios need maintenance badly, looking really bad. Although the unit was clean, the floor was not, it could have used a good mopping. On checkin day after walking around barefoot we noticed that our feet were filthy. I would have though that the cleaning fee should have taken care of this. Thanks for listening.

Great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights, the room is clean and comfortable, nice kitchen, beautiful view and nice pool. Check in and out were a breeze.
