This is a well manicured home with a Mediterranean feel located in a climate where It is never too hot nor too cool . And to enjoy the weather, there is a beautifully landscape yard with a resort feel complete with a large pool, jacuzzi hot tub, gas BBQ and in ground gas fire pit. And to set the mood, there is an amazing outdoor music system. This is the perfect home/yard for small gatherings or medium size parties. The interior is bright and sunny with a great ocean and harbor view. The rooms are large and comfortable with a California king bed in the master and queen beds in the other 3 rooms. You can have music through out with an easy to use Sonos multi-room music system. The kitchen is equipped with the gourmet cook in mind. And while you are waiting for that great meal, you can enjoy a game of billiards.

You are 5 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Orange County, The Ritz Carlton Hotel, St. Regis Resort and Spa and Dana Point harbor, where you can rent boats, jet skis, go whale and dolphin watching or hike over the Dana Point Headlands to Strands Beach. Go 10 minutes north and you are in Laguna Beach; Home of the Pageant Of The Masters, with dozens of art galleries, art festivals, and fabulous restaurants for dining and entertainment. Also in Laguna Beach is The 5 star Montage Resort and Beach Park, not to mention great nightlife and dancing spots. Go 5 minutes south and you are in San Clemente, one of the last great small surf beach cities. Walk the beach trails to the S.C. pier at sunset or shop On Del Mar street for fresh veggies and a great bottle of wine, or dine at of the many great restaurants and wine bars and enjoy live entertainment.

Also, less than an hour away is Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm and many other attractions.

Spectacular & Private

This home exceeded my expectations. There were seven adults who flew in for a weekend wedding. The house and grounds were so spacious with so many indoor and outdoor nooks that we could each do our own thing --including Zoom meetings-- in between wedding festivities and not disturb another. The backyard is spectacular! Lush and beautifully maintained with palms, succulents, vines. Thoughtfully arranged garden art. Big pool & bubbling jacuzzi, plenty of shaded areas. Ample outdoor kitchen, fire pit. Very private. Very restful. Really great. Thanks, Mark.

Great California Home to Enjoy with Family or Friends

This is a terrific home. The photo you see in the rental information is taken from the front of the home overlooking the Pacific. The Pacific breeze is non stop and flows right through the home. We kept the windows and doors open almost the entire time of our 10 day stay. Immediately one sees how clean and well maintained this home is. Our family of 8 spent most of our time sitting out back around the pool, firepit, and sauna. The landscape in the back yard is beautiful and well maintained....our two grandchildren ages 8 and 4 loved all of this. The kitchen is marvelous and the gas grill (Lynx) outback is one of the best you will see anywhere. The guys enjoyed our times around the pool table and all the while, a first class Sonos sound system was playing throughout the home and outdoor pool area. The home is very convenient to beaches and many restaurants on Dana Point and along the Laguna Beach shore, 10 minutes from the Ritz Carlton where I had a business meeting. The owners, Mark and Davone, were great... easy to work with and even shipped a nice necklace home to us that my wife accidentally left behind. We truly enjoyed our escape to this paradise from the long grueling Texas summer. We now find ourselves still "California Dreamin". Harry A.

Great house, it has everything that you may need for your vacation in paradise.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. This house is very organized and it has everything that you may need. My kids loved the pool and the Jacuzzi. The owners had fresh fruit and two bottles of wine (red and white) for us. We rented this house to celebrate with family my daughter's wedding the following day with a pool party. The only thing that was surprising was the owner's were requesting an extra fee for this pool party. So make sure you are all set before you organize a party in this house to avoid surprises. Other than that, I highly recommend this house, I loved it, even my mother loved it, and trust me my mother is the hardest person to please.

Great family vacation

We had a great time and the house is fantastic. The pool and gorgeous backyard was great for our kids and the adults. The view of the ocean was great and there is plenty of dining and essentials within 10 mins. Marc was very responsive before and during the trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place, what a view

Location was great, home was ideal for entertaining and relaxing. The backyard is ideal for lounging by the pool and enjoying the great Southern California weather. Close to restaurants and easy to get to.

Felt like our own private island....... 🌴🌴🌴

Words can't describe the memories, the laughter, the fun but I'll do my best. Our family of five loves to vacation in California we love the resort feel with the space a home provides. We have stayed at many homes and this was by far our favorite. First of all Mark and his wife are the greatest. They truly make you feel like their home is your home. It's clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Honestly I didn't want to leave the back yard. You feel like your on your own private island. The landscaping is gorgeous, the pool refreshing and the fire pit so fun at night to make s'mores with the kiddos and enjoy a glass of wine. We had a great time. I do also have to share that Mark and his wife did not have much notice before we were coming and they went out of their way to accommodate the dates we needed. Our daughter forgot her swimsuit and it was mailed back to us within days. Mark and his wife truly go above and beyond. They are so genuine. We can't wait to go back and stay again. If the home is available for you book it as fast as you can and thank me later. Memories are made at this home.

The perfect addition to our wedding weekend

The house was AMAZING!!! Mark and Davone greeted us and gave us a tour of the house and property. They were so very nice and accommodating. We asked if we could arrive a day earlier due to last minute honeymoon booking and they responded very quickly and allowed the change. Mark called several times to check and make sure we had everything we needed; which we did. There was plenty of room for the 6-11 guests we had coming and going. The backyard was sooooo beautiful and there were many compliments from all who visited or stayed. The view is breathtaking!!! Everything about the property was absolutely perfect!!! I hope to visit again when things aren't quite so hectic just so we can relax and take in everything the property has to offer.

California living as you imagine it should be

This is a perfect house for a family gathering with spacious rooms and a large well equipped kitchen and, best of all, a pool set in a beautifully landscaped garden. Mark and Davone welcomed us warmly despite our delayed arrival, and we enjoyed every minute of our time in their charming home. There was plenty of room for our daughter and her sisters to primp together before her wedding, we had leisurely BBQ suppers on the softly lit terrace and midnight swims before bed. In addition our hosts had supplied generous amounts of general household supplies such as toilet paper and dishwashing liquid, and this European based family with three small children in tow really appreciated the large and efficient washer and dryer. We couldn't have been happier.

Relaxing Family Fun!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations many times over. The back yard is a tropical paradise that you never want to leave, the pool is a wonderful size and we spent many hours in it. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill outside easy to use. The layout of the house is so spacious, everyone had their "personal space". Location wonderful close to harbor, beaches, shopping, great restaurants and even Starbucks. The sound system throughout the yard and home is the best we've encountered and we've rented many homes. The hospitality offered was greatly appreciated and our recommendation is "you can't go wrong with this one!!"

wedding week

We rented this beautiful home for our daughter's wedding week. We had 8 adults (each had their own bedroom) and 2 babies. It could not have been more perfect, plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing or come together at mealtime. We especially enjoyed the music thoughout the property, and the spectacular backyard. We hosted a pool party that week and got rave reviews from all our guests. Uber is readily available in this neighborhood, and we got a full and prompt damage depost refund from Mark. We especially enjoyed the fresh flowers, bowl of fruit, and wine that Mark and his wife left us. I would highly recommned this property, in a quiet residential neighborhood.

absolutely wonderful

We rented this house with my husband and our 2 daughters (7 and 4) for relaxed vacation. The House is even more beautiful than on the pictures. Mark is a very nice and welcoming person. He responded to our different questions by email rapidly. The neighborhood is very quite. the House is big and well decorated, the description is very accurate. We enjoyed the large pool and jacuzzi. You have all groceries/supermarkets within 5 mins drive which is very convenient. We would definitively recommend this rental and really hope to come back

Marvelous Vacation Home

Great Spot for Family Fun

We just returned from our stay at this great home in San Juan Capistrano. The house was nicely equipped and perfectly laid out. There were 3 couples as well as two 7 year olds and we all had plenty of space for privacy but were also able to gather together for meals and fun around the pool. The backyard is lovely and a perfect place to relax after some California sun. This home is close to Laguna and not far from Sea World, LEGOLAND or Disneyland. Mark and his wife greeted us upon our arrival to make sure we were comfortable with all the workings of the home and provided a lovely fruit basket and a couple of bottles of wine for our enjoyment which was a very nice touch. All in all we really enjoyed our time at this home and would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation and reunion

Mark the owner is a very nice and easy going person. He made us feel very comfortable and welcome right away. When we showed up the front door was open, with the ocean breezes blowing into the house. Mark had some music playing and fresh flowers on the entry way table. The house has a very Mediterranean feel. Its neat, clean, well decorated (beautiful artwork throughout) and has everything you will need. We were there for a family vacation and also to have time with family coming from Europe. We were a group of 6 adults (3 couples) and 5 children. The couples had their own rooms. Three of the kids slept on the big couch in the upstairs family room. One child slept in one of the guest rooms and the other (2 year old) slept with her parents in one of the guest rooms. So there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked. We cooked in most of the time and got wonderful food at the nearby Ralphs and Trader Joes. We were able to seat all of us around the kitchen table by using some of the chairs from the patio. The pool was by far the highlight of the house for us. The backyard landscaping is breathtaking. Our kids spent most of their waking time in the pool. We roasted marshmellows at night on the gas fire pit. It was tough to decide whether to go to the beach or hang out at this beautiful home by the pool! And there is a balcony upstairs where you have a stunning view of the ocean. The ocean breeze and sunset were spectacular. The location is wonderful too. Its really close to everything that SoCal has to offer. We would stay here again for sure! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Home!

We rented this home to stay nearby for a family wedding in San Juan Capistrano. Mark is a wonderful owner, very considerate and helpful. He made arrangements for us to have a portable crib and booster seat for our youngest grandchild and we were surprised by a basket of fresh fruit and some beverages. The pool and backyard are beautiful and the home was nicely decorated and very clean. Perfect for our stay! The view of the Pacific was amazing! The neighborhood was very quiet and safe, but close to stores and restaurants. The pull-out sofa was indeed very comfortable as advertised. I'm a fussy renter who wants cleanliness and comfort and we would definitely rent this home again. Please consider this house, you will not be disappointed!!

Gorgeous Property! Great Owner!

We rented the property to host our family for our small weekend wedding and it could not have been more perfect! The owner was so wonderful and accommodating and graciously let us have our wedding ceremony in the backyard. The setting was perfect and our family and friends were able to enjoy an evening of food and fun. The home is tastefully decorated, we didn't need much decor and easy to find just up from the freeway and close to the beach. We were excited to find the perfect home to rent for our wedding weekend and would highly recommend this property to any of our friends and family. There was some miscommunication on rides to the airport and the owner ended up giving my mother a ride to the airport so she wouldn't have to wait for a cab....now that's service! Definitely take a look at this property...you won't regret it!

Perfect location

Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful owner, very nice backyard and pool. We are a family with 4 children in the age of 8 to 14 years. Everybody liked the house very much. It is perfectly located for trips to Seaworld and Disneyland, but we also loved to spend the day at the pool. We would rent this house for another vacation without hesitation.

I have lived in San Juan Capistrano / San Clemente area for the last 33 years. Seeing the ocean daily is truly a blessing and something I'll never get over. Originally from the east coast, I have never taken this place for granted. My Wife, Davone and I have lived here almost 24 years and I'm sure you will find this place as special as we do. And, yes, this home is dog friendly.

Enjoy this older, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with many established trees and wildlife. At night sometimes you can hear coyotes in the hills and spot hawks, seagulls and pelicans flying overhead. A 5 minute walk to a beautiful park with playground where we take the dogs and let them free to run, a baseball and soccer fields, and endless hiking trails through the rolling hills of San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente.
