This condo is located on the quiet north end of Seven Mile Beach. You are steps from the beach and the clear blue water of the Caribbean. Swim or snorkel right outside your condo. Relax on the uncrowded sandy beach, soaking up the sun or in the shade of a thatched hut. There is a beachfront swimming pool and hot tub for your enjoyment.
Two pickleball courts and tennis courts are available for guests.

When you are finished using the beach, you will enjoy the comforts of home. The condo has been renovated with all of the amenities, with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. There is new 65" 4K smart TV in the living area and wide screen TVs in both bedrooms , DVD player in the living area. Also included in the unit, is free Wi-Fi, a large DVD library (over 100 titles) and sand toys. Local calls as well as calls to the US and Canada can be made free of charge from the unit. For your convenience, there is a washer/dryer in the unit.

Being on the third floor allows you to have a spectacular view of the ocean. Nothing is more romantic than watching the sunset from your lanai.

The bathrooms in the condo have been completely renovated. We have installed new floating vanities, floor to ceiling Spanish tile, new showers and new modern Kohler fixtures. We have also replaced the floor in the entire condo with tile, also imported from Spain that incorporates the newest technology -- non-slip when wet but smooth when dry. The bedroom furniture has been replaced this year with new bedding and spacious storage.

Daily maid service is provided except for Sundays and holidays. Towels and linens are provided. The on-site management is the best on the island. They will help you with all of your needs.

All water sports are available nearby. Many excellent restaurants are a short drive away. A modern supermarket and a liquor store are a little more than 1/2 mile away.


Please note that the northern part of Seven Mile Beach, where the Discovery Point Club is located, has NOT suffered beach erosion as the southern part of Seven Mile Beach.

Great stay

Unit was spacious and recently updated. Cleaning service daily was excellent. Beach was beautiful and private and had multiple amenities on site (tennis, pool, beach toys) and additional recreational activities were coordinated for a fee (stand up paddle board and jet skis).We would stay here again in the future.

Madeline was a great host

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo is very nice and has great views. The staff at Discovery Point were all very friendly and housekeeping did a great job. Madeline was super responsive the few times that I had questions. Thank you all! Will definitely stay again.

Beach vaca

Enjoyed swimming, snorkling, sunsets, escapes from the sun under the palapas and in the screened in lanai. The powder blue walls of the condo extended the oceanside feel. The kitchen was well stocked. Condo staff were very friendly and efficient.

Nice, quiet condo

Clean condo. Appliances worked well. Newly remodeled bathrooms were great. Nice view. Beach is rockier than other areas. No fight for beach chairs like at large resorts. Well worth the cost of rental.

A hidden gem with everything you need for a great vacation!

Property was as listed, clean and well kept. Panoramic ocean views. Shops nearby for supplies. Snorkeling, tennis, basketball, available so something for everyone. The pool was also gorgeous and ocean-side but with a beach that beautiful, hard to compete. Staff super friendly / helpful and Geraint especially. Would love to come back.

Nice get away

First time in Cayman. We loved it! The property is nice, beach is wonderful. You can snorkel right outside your door. Everything was clean and nice. The only issue, all three mattresses should be replaced. Very firm. but would come back.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

Our family just returned from a 8 day vacation at this Discovery Point condo. Madeline and Scott were wonderful to deal with prior to booking the condo and answered all our questions (and then some), and the pictures were all quite accurate. The condo was very clean and very well equipped and furnished. The Property Manager Ollie was extremely helpful. The property is very well maintained and provided more than enough outdoor beach lounges and chairs (as well as shaded areas under beach umbrellas or the tiki huts). We enjoyed many sunsets by the pool; spent hours under the tiki huts and used the outdoor grills several nights. Outstanding snorkeling right out front. Discovery Point was clearly a family resort, and everyone was so friendly and nice to be around. We highly recommend this Condo and Complex.

Cayman relaxation

My husband and I had a great stay! The unit was clean, fresh and very comfortable . Check in was a breeze and we were met with a warm welcome. The view from the condo was amazing and the sound of the ocean from the balcony was so relaxing. We had a great 6 days!

Sunny days on seven mile beach

Very nice property and condo on the north end of 7 mile beach. Great staff, beautiful view, nice pool and beach. Somewhat secluded. Never had to fight for a chair or anything. Beach has excellent snorkeling up here. A few rocky areas but also lots of sandy area not far away at all. Great trip.

Very nice property

Property is very nicely maintained with a beautiful beach and sunset views. Our apartment was clean and nicely furnished. The on-site property manager always had a big smile and laugh and even brought some fresh coconuts to guests on the beach. Best to have a rental car (or you’ll need cabs) since it’s not within walking distance of shopping or restaurants.

Wonderful week

We loved our stay at Discovery Point Club. Our condo was very clean, well appointed and had fantastic amenities. We really enjoyed the beach, pool and tennis courts. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming. We will definitely return in the near future!

Great condo at a great location on a fantastic beach

As a VRBO owner myself in the US, I know what to look for when booking a place for my family when we travel. First, I look at location, descriptions then ratings. However, the most important thing is timely communication between the owner and the guest. If the owner doesn't respond, you don't want to stay at that property. Madeline, was top-notch when it comes to responding to my questions! While I have been to the Caymans before, it has been a while. Madeline, took the time to answer every question and offered additional info on car rentals and driving tips. She spelled out the check-in process, etc. She even followed-up post stay. So, for those reason alone, I would stay again at this property. However, I was even more surprised by the location. About 20 min from the airport, it offers the beautiful Seven Mile Beach (SMB) out your door and overlooking your balcony but without all the traffic and nonsense of downtown SMB where all the hotels are based. Surprisingly, most of the best outdoor restaurants on the whole island are within 5 minutes of this condo, not downtown as one would think. Snorkeling is great, even with kids, not 10 feet from the beach in front of the private property next door. There is a nice pool and hot tub but with a beach and view like this one, you will opt for the ocean. There were enough beach chairs and cabanas for those who wanted them. The condo itself is up- to-date and modern. The staff does a nice job cleaning daily. Air conditioning was fine as well as the WiFi. Appliances and washer/dryer were all nice and detergent was included. We mostly sat on the lanai and watched the multi-hued, blue water and the storms at night. All-in-all a great find, near great food and convenient grocery and liquor stores. We would definitely stay here again. Mike and Lorna VRBO 796154

Terrific property and unit. Pool is great. Tennis courts. Wonderful snorkeling out front and down at Cemetry Beach. Quiet, West end of 7 Mile Beach. Staff were terrific, from welcome and check in, daily service and last day. Grocery store not far. Unit has comfortable beds/furniture. Thank you for a warm welcome to Grand Cayman.

Amazing in EVERY way!!

Our stay here was truly amazing - the unit had a gorgeous view, was clean, the kitchen had all the amenities, the on-site staff was very friendly and helpful regarding suggestions on how to spend our time on the island. The beach in front of the condos is quiet and clean. The location is convenient to the action on the island yet far enough away that you avoid the crowds. A bonus that we didn’t pay much attention to but ended up making our trip that much easier, was that snorkeling equipment and paddle boards could be rented right at Discovery Point. You can literally walk from the condo, to the beach, and right into the water and begin snorkeling - cool fish right there in front of the condo! Also, there were gorgeous tennis courts with racquets avaiable free of charge! Everything was truly amazing. We WILL be back!

Great Place

The staff was incredibly nice and condo was in great condition. The beach in front of Discovery Point is perfect for lounging, swimming, or snorkling.

Extended weekend getaway

Beautiful condo! Clean with everything that you need except for your food. Right on the beach with everything you'd would want. No crowds!! Maid service available daily. Very pleased! Condo is situated on top floor with great views but lots of stairs to get up there.

Beauitful beach getaway.

Spent 8 nights with our 7 year old twins. We had a fantastic stay. The condo was well equipped with everything you needed; including a well supplied kitchen, beach toys, DVDs and in our opinion the best lanai of all the units at Discovery Point. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. Loved having the daily maid service and coming home to a clean condo at the end of a day of fun in the sun. The pool and beach was never crowded, able to find shade and beach chairs any time of day. Grounds extremely well kept. Would recommend a car rental to explore the island and the condo was only about a half mile to Foster's grocery store which had anything you could possibly need. Condo owner's were some of the easiest we've ever worked with, quick to respond and help. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet spot on 7 Mile Beach!

It was our first trip to Grand Carman but it will not be our last. I research spots well ahead of every vacation on VRBO, Trip advisor, etc. I chose Discovery Point based on everything I read and we were not sorry at all. The beach is gorgeous and not too busy. We had no problem getting three lounges together every single day. There are many huts for shade and palm trees too. The beach itself is well kept and yes, you can snorkel just off shore. The snorkeling is very fun. I'm not sure why some reviewers complained about the rocky shoreline. Grand Cayman is surrounded by reefs, of course it isn't all sand! That being said, it was very easy to find a spot to enter the water that was sandy and jump in and float so you didn't ever need to step on rocks at all. We didn't need water shoes of any sort to accomplish it. The snorkeling just off shore was great, the pool area clean and hot tub lovely. We found check in and out extremely easy, the daily (except Sunday) maid service was wonderful and the condo was the most stocked place that we have ever stayed and we regularly rent throughout the Caribbean and the US. There were items provided for us that we usually have to buy for ourselves like paper towels, Kleenex, soap, dish detergent and even detergent for the clothes washer. We did get a confirmation number upon booking and thought everyone in the office and throughout the club were very friendly and helpful during our stay. We would definitely return to this unit and Discovery Point Club, we can see why they have so many repeat visitors!
