Escape to a serene Big Island oasis at Club Wyndham Mauna Loa Village. Located right next door to the Kona Country Club, which features a championship golf course. This tantalizing Kailua-Kona resort is a quiet oasis tucked away from the town traffic and crowds, yet only two blocks from shopping, restaurants, and movie theaters. Plus, there's a wide array of golf courses and beaches, as well as hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails within close proximity. In under an hour, you can find yourself on the glistening white sandy beaches of Hapuna Beach State Park - voted #1 top beach in 2021 from CNN Travel.

These spacious two-bedroom resort suites comfortably sleep six guests in 1,686 square feet. Suites feature one king bed in the master, one king bed in the guest room and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. You will appreciate private bedrooms, the economy of a fully equipped kitchen, and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, a full dining area and TVs with DVD players throughout are added extras with your comfort in mind. Enjoy the sites off your private lanai as you relax in this tropical island home away from home!

With so many options each day, you'll want to take a moment to say “mahalo,” the Hawaiian word for gratitude. Tour Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation for an inside look at the Kona coffee-making process. Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which is home to two active volcanoes. Explore Kaloko-Honokohau National Park where green sea turtles and other special creatures reside. Venture out to the 80-foot waterfall at Rainbow Falls near Hilo, which is named for the rainbow that forms from its early morning mist.

Picture perfect is how you'll view your stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. Same holds true for how you'll come to see the amenities at Club Wyndham Mauna Loa Village. Take advantage of everything from 6 outdoor swimming pools to 6 whirlpool tubs to 11 tennis courts (fee). Guests can get their questions answered and needs met from the very friendly and helpful concierge. Children will never be bored as there are activities aplenty for them as well.
Since all Wyndham resorts use floating inventory, the units are not assigned to a guest until shortly before arrival. The photos in this listing are representative of the unit type as they are mostly uniform, but not necessarily the exact unit you will be in.

All our luxury resorts use a system called Allocate Upon Arrival which means the actual suite you will be assigned to is given upon check-in. These photos are a combination of all the different suites on site. Please note since we do not place you in an exact unit and this is done by the front desk staff, we cannot guarantee the requests, but will do our best to make sure they are accommodated. If your reservation is more than 4 nights you may be assigned to a new suite for housekeeping purposes. Keeping our suites up to luxury standards is our top priority.

The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $250 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Any damages will be charged upon check-out.

The name on the reservation must match the ID of the person checking in. It is the guest's responsibility to provide us with the name of the person who will be checking in, at the time of booking. There is a $99 fee if you need to change the name on the reservation. Even if another member of your party arrives first, they will not be able to check in before the person named on the reservation. If you do not provide us with the name you would like on the reservation, we will use the name and address that the reservation was booked under as the default. If another member of your party arrives before you, include their name in your message at the time of booking and will add their name instead of yours.

Guests may not have more than one reservation booked in their name for the same dates. If you have booked another unit for the same dates with another listing, you must make sure that the name on each reservation is different, or you will be in jeopardy of Wyndham canceling one of your reservations without notice. If you would like to book multiple units, please provide other names to put on the other reservations.

Please note by purchasing this listing you agree that there may be a chance for an 'Upgrade' to your unit for a larger unit that will fit the same amount of people. If this is the case, we will upgrade your room without question, free of charge. Therefore, depending on the length of your stay and unavailability of rooms, you may be upgraded to a larger suite during your stay with us and stay may be split into two different units depending on availability.

Auxiliary parking is available for guests, no charge, one vehicle permitted per reservation.

*** Pet Policy ***
No pets allowed. Service animals trained to perform a certain task are permitted.

*** Smoking Policy ***
No smoking inside including electronic cigarettes, unless it's in a designated area.

*** Housekeeping Policy ***
Our updated housekeeping protocols for our resort operation teams are in place to minimize potential exposure to COVID-19 for our associates as well as owners and guests. These protocols include temporarily suspending housekeeping services while suites are occupied, including stay-over cleans for extended stays. Daily housekeeping is not included and may be added for an additional fee.

Wyndham has a maximum occupancy set for each room type. If these rules are not followed by guests, Wyndham may cancel the reservation.

This resort offers Braille signage (i.e. elevators, room numbers), handicap parking, first floor access ramps, and a portable pool lift.

Excellent stay!
We loved our stay here! The space is very large, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy, cute little kitchen, very friendly staff, well kept grounds. All around 5 star stay!
