Welcome to Lamplighter - a HomeBody Rentals property! Perfect for couples or small groups, this fully stocked 1BR/1Bath condo features a king bed, sleeper sofa, private balcony, fast Wi-Fi, parking, and more!



Walk to the beach or Washington St. Mall in minutes, then unwind with all the comforts of home ā€” bikes, beach chairs, Nespresso, and more. Chair lift access makes it easy for all guests to enjoy. Just bring your beach towels and relax!

The Space:

Lamplighter is located on the second floor. You'll have to go up a flight of stairs to reach the unit. For those that have issue with stairs, we have a chair lift for your convenience. Once upstairs, everything is on one floor.



*1 Bedroom with King Bed (All Linens and Bath Towels are included. Please pack beach towels.)

*1 Full Bath

*Living Room with queen pull out sofa bed (Pillows, sheets and blankets included)

*Fully equipped eat-in kitchen with Nespresso Machine and Regular Coffee Machine

*TV with wifi connection so you can stream any TV service you currently have (i.e. Netflix)

*In-Unit Washer + Dryer (with detergent and dryer sheets)

*Indoor (electric) Fireplace located in the Bedroom

*Private balcony (Off of family room)

High-speed wifi will allow you to stream movies, scroll social media or work (if you really have to).



Parking is available for one car, in our designated spot, very close to our condo entrance.



Cape May beaches are within walking distance and will need *beach tags (during the summer season only, children 12 and under are free).

*If beach tags are lost or misplaced, a $50 fee per tag will be required to cover the cost of the tag.



Guest must be 25 years of age to rent. Minors must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire unit and balcony



The Neighborhood:

Centrally located in Cape May. Walking distance to beach and Washington Street Mall. Also across the street from Cape May Kiwanis Community Park (playground).



Getting Around:

Close enough to walk to everything or take the bikes! We provide 2.



Other Things to Note:

We have a chair lift for guests who have issues climbing stairs. Please let us know if you will be using the lift and we will provide directions.



Please pack your favorite beach towels as these are the only linens that are not included.



We do not provide traditional cable TV service. We have WIFI TV set up for your personal streaming services that you can log into i.e. Netflix.



Bikes and Beach Chairs are not available during the winter months due to the cold weather. We only provide them in the Spring/Summer/Fall.

We really enjoyed our time here. It was a short walk into town and one of the best dinners Iā€™ve been to in Cape May at the Washington Inn. The bed was super comfortable, the little balcony was such a treat. I will absolutely be staying here again and would recommend for any two people looking to get away.

Great vacation location

My family of 4 loved the location of this home-just a short walk to the beach, Washington street mall and a short drive to all other major attractions! The hostsā€™ knowledge of the area was great and made it possible to get to do everything we wanted to :)

A Perfect Place for a Cozy Stay!

From questions prior to booking through our checkout, this was the *perfect* place to stay for our beach weekend! The description "chic hide-away" could not be more true, and I highly recommend this for a stay!Anna and Matt were incredibly communicative - they responded in a very timely manner, offered great recommendations for the area ranging from restaurants to activities, and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking (which - it definitely was!). The check out instructions were very minimal, and check in was a breeze given the method of entrance to the apartment. The apartment was very clean, very well-stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, etc., and was in the perfect location for us to be walking distance to just about anything we could want while still being removed enough that there were not large crowds, lots of traffic, etc. It was incredibly cozy - the furniture was comfy, the space very tranquil, and I loved little details like the gold fixtures. And I appreciated the well-stocked nespresso!This was the perfect hideaway for a Cape May weekend, and I look forward to staying here again!

Home away from Home

Amazing property to stay with my family! The property is quiet, cozy, and close to the beach and local stores. It felt like home. Everything was immaculate and clean. We very much enjoyed the details and aesthetic look of the condo. We had everything we needed such as towels, coffee/tea bags, games, extra pillows and comforters to make our stay memorable! Amazing weekend with my girls!

We booked this place as a last minute mini vacation and it did not disapoint! The place was immaculate and accurate to the description listed! Check in and out was super easy, and all instructions were sent prior to us arriving. Communication was fast, within 10 minutes, we recieved resonses! Not only was the actual place amazing but the location was perfect. Close to everything! Nothing was more than a 5 minute drive. It was also very quiet and traquile both during the day and nighttime.This was our first "girls weekend" with my daughters and they are already asking about when they can come back.Thank you so much!

Great last minute get away

This home is one of the best homes we have stayed in and we travel alot. Extremely clean, every amenity needed plus more. The hosts were great! Making sure we didnt need anything. I definitely recommend staying here.

All the comforts of home

Our stay at Lamplighter was perfect. The condo was exactly as described, check in was as easy as could be. The hosts were super responsive and everything we needed was in the immaculate home. It was centrally located to all Cape May activities. Highly recommended.

Adorable and clean

Lamplighter is an adorable condo that is very tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Bed was comfortable. Good location central to town and the beach. Anna was very responsive with any questions we had. 5 star stay!

Fun in Cape May

Anna and Matt are amazing hosts, very approachable. The condo was very clean with many amenities. It was decorated very nice with some special touches. There wasnā€™t anything that we needed. Anna, Matt and the condo get 5 stars!

Great location / great hosts!

Great communication with Anna about everything- made a quick shore visit easier by supplying sheets & towels. Wonderful location! Very clean space. My son is sensitive to smells so we unplugged the glade plug in & opened a window for some fresh air. There was a small ice maker issue but Anna arrived same day with ice trays- helpful in hot weather! We used the bikes a lot ( our daughter brought her own) and enjoyed the patio. A clothes line out back would make drying swim suits easier since hanging on banister is discouraged and dryer can shrink suits. Hard to keep all sand out of house with small kids but we tried! Wonderful stay and we will be back

Perfect Getaway

This is an immaculate location perfect for a get away or a romantic weekend. We loved staying at the Lamplighter. The interior is well maintained and has beautiful decors. We enjoyed using the outside porch for morning reading sessions and the comfortable living room to settle down after a great day down the shore. We can not wait to come back!

Exceptional Cape May Rental

Lamplighter was an exceptional rental and in close proximity to many of the best locations in Cape May. The rental was extremely clean and came with everything as advertised. As host, Anna communicated the check-in process clearly and could always be reached if we had any questions during our stay. We highly recommend this rental to anyone planning a trip to Cape May.

Charming apartment

Lovely apartment and well decorated. We stayed for a few nights to end the summer with a beach retreat before school begins. There was room for two adults and two children. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable for the kids. Would not recommend the place for four adults. Perfect for a family with one to two young children. Clean and comfortable.

Lovely Vacation Home

This condo is beautifully designed, very clean and is in a terrific location just blocks away from Washington Mall and the beach. Amenities we particularly found helpful were the washer and dryer, beach tags, bikes, beach chairs and our favorite coffee! The owners are delightful and made sure we were taken care of. We will be staying here again!

Impeccable !

Everything from check in to checkout was seamless. The attention to fine details was refreshing ! This property allowed me to relax and enjoy every moment just as I do at home. Decor is exactly as pictured and the bed was absolute heaven ! Anna even has a nespresso coffee maker & pods, plus a french press to enjoy ! Bikes, beach tags and chairs were appreciated also.
