Historic Jackson Street just 1/2 Block to the Beach with Ocean Views


The Cape May Holly Suite is located on Historic Jackson Street at the Cape May Puffin Suites. Jackson Street is considered one of the most beautiful streets in Cape May. The street has been painted by Thomas Kinkade. The Cape May Holly Suite is located just 1/2 block to the beach and steps to the Washington Street Mall restaurants and shops. The Mad Batter Restaurant is located a few steps down the street.

Our Private Ocean View Deck is the place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee. Enjoy the beautiful Ocean Views from our roof deck. The roof deck is for Holly Suite Guests only.

The Holly Suite sleeps up to 4 Guests and features one bedroom. The sitting room/ sunroom can be used as a second bedroom. The room offers a full-size sleeper sofa and separate entrance through an antique stained-glass door. Our newly renovated suite features central air, fireplace, antique stained-glass windows, plenty of comfortable seating and much more. The Holly Suite offers a Queen size bed in the main bedroom and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room and a full sleeper sofa in the private sitting/sunroom. All sleeper sofas have upgraded mattresses.

Our front porch is a large, covered, wrap around porch with wicker furniture and offers the best views of Historic Jackson Street. Enjoy our old fashioned porch rockers while watching the horse carriages, trolleys and people walk down our scenic street. Jackson Street is gas lit at night to offer the perfect ambiance for sharing special times with friends and families.

We provide free beach tags for our guests. Parking is very limited on Jackson Street and we provide our guests free offsite parking for one vehicle at the Bank Street parking lot.

Our condominium offers all of the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The suite is smoke free.

The Holly Suite comes with central air conditioning to keep you cool on those hot summer days down at the shore. The Holly Suite also offers an electric fireplace to keep you warm and cozy during the off-season months.

Jackson Street is the most historic (first) street in Cape May. Our Guest love how close The Holly Suite at Cape May Puffin Suites is to everything. Our Guest come back year after year for one simple reason. It doesn't get any better for a one bedroom Cape May vacation rental. A few steps down the street and your at the beach. A few steps up and your in the middle of the Washington Street Mall.

The Holly suite was beautifully appointed, spacious and clean - only the hiccup we had was not with the unit or owners but a glitch with the VRBO app. Tom and Allison sent communications before our arrival with the linen reminder, but the Welcome Packet did not attach. They were IMMEDIATELY responsive and assisted us in access codes when we reached out to them. We were the ones who needed that linen reminder and found a Walmart about 15 minutes away where we were able to pick up sheets and towels. Would definitely visit again!

Great property, great location!

Our visit to Cape May was wonderful! Booking our rental was very easy, the listing was completely accurate and the owner, Tom, was very communicative. The apartment is beautiful...so much attention to detail and very comfortable. And the house is right in the center of the historic district...lovely Victorian buildings and walking distance to all of downtown. Can't say enough good things. We'll definitely be back.

40th Anniversary

Our children gave us a 4 day , 3 night mini-vacation at the The Puffin House, Holly Suite. We can't speak highly enough of the whole experience. We loved it, we are going back again and don't miss out on this Cape May gem.

Amazing Find in the PERFECT Location

I've rented through VRBO many times and have been satisfied in the majority of cases. This property cannot be topped! The location, decor, comfy bed and rooftop deck were a magical combination. We WILL go back and this will be the place we rent again.

Wonderful!

Perfect location in an enchanting town with beautiful beaches! We loved staying in the Holly suite right in the heart of Cape May and so close to shopping and the beach. The roof top veranda with views of the ocean was quite pleasant and surprisingly private. Everything was as depicted, communications with the owners was fast and easy. Our only advice to future renters is to know that this suite is on the top floor and therefore requires lots of step climbing. This was not a problem for us but could be important for some. Also this rental does not supply linens as part of the base price per night, which was a first for us having rented short term places all over the world. Linens are available but at an additional cost. This may be typical for New Jersey shore rentals, but we have never encountered this before anywhere.

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay! My two kids loved sleeping in the sun room, and the apartment was clean and spacious for us. We loved the outdoor shower and having laundry on site was really helpful. Location truly can't be beat!

Perfect Christmas Weekend in Cape May

Stayed over a weekend in December with two children (5 and 8) Could not have had a better time staying here. Steps to everything going on during the Christmas season. Can see the Congress house festivities from the rooftop balcony (not their tree, however). Christmas Parade route is less than 500 feet away on Carpenter Lane. Popular Ebbitt room and Mad Batter are across the street. Can imagine would be wonderful sitting on the porch in the evening when summer season is in full swing. Would also be a perfect spot for a summer stay, beach is less than a block away. The accomodations were perfect- well appointed, immaculately kept. Cannot recommend more highly. Thanks for a great weekend!

You will love this suite!

Very charming and comfortable 1 BR/1 BA condo with extra pull-out sofa beds for additional sleeping options. The location was perfect! We parked our car (using the free parking pass provided) and walked everywhere. And, the rooftop deck was the icing on the cake. We already made our reservation for next year!

Everything we needed!

This condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Although we did not cook the 4 nights we stayed, they had enough cooking/eating gear for those so inclined. The rooftop deck and the front porch were both relaxing places to hang out after a day of walking, shopping and going out to eat. Love the location and love the condo!

Clean & comfortable in a great location

My wife & I enjoyed our stay over the weekend, despite some rainy weather. The location is ideal. It is within walking distance to the mall, restaurants, Congress Hall, the beach, etc. The Holly Suite was very comfortable. Although we did not access the roof deck due to rainy weather, it looks to be a great spot in warmer, sunnier weather. I would highly recommend the suite. The owners were a pleasure to work with, responding quickly to our initial reservation request & sending all information re: accessing the suite. My wife & I look forward to a future visit.

Fabulous stay!

Spent a long weekend in the Holly suite and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The condo was spotless and nicely furnished. Thoroughly appreciated thoughtful amenities such as beach tags, parking pass, paper towels, soap, cleaning supplies, iron and ironing board, and basket in the kitchen for our misc food and supplies. The rooftop was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Location was ideal. Quick walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

We have been vacationing in Cape May for years and fell in love with the beauty of the town. There is truly no destination quite like Cape May. Everywhere you look the architecture is amazing. The beach is voted the second best beach in the United States!

1/2 Block to the beach and the historic central shopping district. Take a Horse and Buggy ride or Trolley ride located 1/2 block up the street. We are on the most famous street in Cape May in the heart of the Historic District. You will love the sight of the horse carriages and sound of the hoof beats of the beautiful horses as they pass by our front porch.
