The Historic Austin House in Downtown Manteo

Located within the historic district of Manteo, the Austin House is newly remodeled within walking distance to the waterfront, festival park, shopping and eating. Bead-board walls, tile and marble bathrooms, to the handsomely designed trim work...everything has been restored in the likeness of a true 1940s Outer Banks design!
The space
This home adopted a Capuchin Monkey - Travel with Purpose when you stay with us and assist in global efforts to help save this beautiful endangered species!
Guests will have access to the entire two floor home which includes 3 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, a fully stocked kitchen, living room with TV, and wet bar. Relax on one of the 3 decks or enjoy a good book in the reading room. WIFI, satellite TV, and a blue-tooth stereo are available throughout the home. The house is also centrally located with easy access to Roanoke Island Aquarium, Elizabethan Gardens, Nags Head Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore entrance. You’ll love this home because of the coziness, the location, and the views. The Historic Austin House is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The second story of the home provides an additional bed/bath/kitchenette!
Other things to note
One bath towel and one wash cloth provided per guest during their stay. The Austin House is made up of two separate and unique spaces: The Historic Austin House (accommodates 6), and Virginia Dare Cottage (accommodates 2). Please inquire with your host if you are interested in renting more then one space!
As our guest you are a member at The Village Beach Club in Nags Head! Opens around Memorial Day until approximately Labor Day.
