A romantic guest suite with a private outdoor space for dining ,sunning or reading your favorite book while listening to the waves crashing below.
The most spectacular feature of our studio is the view from every location. One feels like they are totally emersed in the beauty of the sea with total privacy
The studio is equipped with a kitchenette. Mini fridge, and microwave. Coffeemaker and kettle .
This suite is on the ocean bluff and not appropriate for children or pets.

Our stay at the beautiful property was magical and we will be back! Our hosts were wonderful, and the beautiful views and sounds of the ocean right outside our door were incredible. And the sunsets! I have been blessed to travel around the world, but this was the most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever stayed!!! The view was amazing! The sound of the waves hitting the rocks at night... Like a lullaby. The room and bathroom had literally everything we could want or need!! It was so nice to wake up to true coffee and creamer after getting in late the evening before. We never spoke with owners, but they were close if we needed them!!

The location is perfect and the view is amazing. So hard to leave and go home! This was our second visit here and we hope to make it an annual trip. Barry, Karen, and Daisy are wonderful hosts. Love the special treats, especially the cookies. Can’t wait to come back!

We love to travel off the beaten path and this place is magical! Cozy, rugged, quiet, except for the ocean beating on the rocks, wonderful walking trails and good eats in both nearby towns! we both read a whole novel for the first time in a while - it's that simple and restful. Eagerly plan to return...hosts were great!

Quiet, secluded, beautiful spot right on the bluffs’ edge overlooking the Pacific. Convenient location close to Mendocino and numerous state parks, hikes,etc.The unit was clean, comfortable with lots of useful amenities. The hosts were very nice and left a note with info on how to easily reach them if we needed anything.This was our second stay here and well worth it.

Room was perfect, like a large hotel room with kitchenette. There was an issue with the fridge, but owner fixed it immediately. It was the perfect place to relax and recover. Owner is very sweet and gracious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Be aware, you can see through the outside window into the shower. That maybe uncomfortable for some, but didn’t bother us as there is no one nearby to see.

I absolutely loved my time here.

Cozy, peaceful, private. The view is simply breathtaking. Being this close to the water was so healing and restorative for me. The hospitality was amazing, too. Every thoughtful detail made me feel welcome and right at home. I felt as if I were staying at the home of a close friend, not a vacation rental. I hope to return soon.

Better than advertised and that’s tough to imagine because the online pictures were already amazing!

This is the most beautiful short term rental we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. We felt immensely grateful to get the opportunity.The space is cozy and very private. We loved it.

Perfect Stay

Do not hesitate to book this property. The views are out of this world. In addition the extra touches they provided with this property are top notch including milk, a bottle of wine, water and a couple of local beers, the yummy cookies they baked for us, the coffee and filters and also loved they had extra pillows. We appreciated the toaster oven which allowed us to make breakfast. We could not have asked for anything more.

This place was quite amazing. Don’t think you can get any closer to the ocean. We were greeted with treats and all the basic amenities. It was even better in person. Very clean and comfortable. We saw lots of birds and the space was very private and easy to find. Highly recommended.

Once in a lifetime stay!

This was the prettiest place we’ve ever stayed. The cottage was wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. The views from the patio and picture windows were unbelievable. Beautiful grounds and perfect location. Communication with our hosts was excellent. This place spoils me for any other rental I might ever visit.

We are long term residents of Mendocino and enjoy traveling the world.
We live on the property in the main house. The guest suite is totally private with your own entrance . The only only thing we share is the front gate and the driveway.
There is 100% privacy inside your suite as well as outside .
We enjoy having guests spend time in our little hideaway!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We not only have a secluded ocean front but we are nestled in-between Russian Gulch State park and Point Cabrillo park that are both less than a mile away and have miles and miles of hiking trails. Both can be reached by walking just outside our gate.
There is also 1909 Lighthouse that has coves and bluffs to explore as well as a lighthouse museum.

We are located less than a mile from the town of Mendocino which has restaurants, museums, shops, theatre and the headlands trails for hiking
Jackson State forest is close with 100 miles of hiking trails.
Big river offers kayaking, paddleboarding, expansive sunny beaches for all to enjoy.
