Perched on the edge of the famous Mendocino Headlands, this lovely family home offers the seclusion of a seaside retreat with the nearby convenience of Mendocino’s restaurants and shops.

With a bay on either side of the house, it offers a 270 degree ocean panorama that is known by many locals as the best view on the Mendocino coast. Eat breakfast with our local seal, watch a parade of whales swim by, get eye-to-eye with a flock of pelicans skimming across the headlands—you may even be lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins!

Located in the village of Mendocino, the house is less than a ten minute walk to the heart of town, making it easy to grab groceries, grab a drink in our local pub, or enjoy a gourmet meal without getting in the car. It's a perfect location for enjoying the Mendocino Music Festival concerts--just walk home when it's over!

The house itself is oriented toward the ocean. Every room has a view of the surrounding bays, and the dramatic living room is wrapped in 12' windows so you can whale-watch from the comfort of the sofa in front of the gas fireplace!

The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cooking and serving equipment you would need to entertain guests as you show off your spectacular view. Located off a private driveway, you will be instantly whisked away to your own secluded paradise. We also use this as our family home, so you will find many comforts you don’t normally get in a vacation rental.

Most of the home is wheelchair/walker friendly, with a ramp to the front door.

"We are very sad to leave Paradise. You have made this home a perfect spot to spend a month. The bed is quite comfortable, the chairs and couches are relaxing.
