Perfectly located next to the Arno River, inside the ancient wall of the old Town, walking distance to all main sites of Florence (Santa Maria Novella 5 minutes, Ognissanti Church and Cenacolo 2 minutes, Duomo 10 minutes, Uffizzi 10 minutes, Ponte Vecchio 10 minutes, Piazza Signoria and more ).

Just a 5-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station – your gateway to Italy: reach Rome in 1.5 hours, Venice and Milan in 2, Bologna in 30 minutes, and Pisa in just 1 hour. The perfect base to explore Florence and beyond.

The apartment was an easy walk from the train station using the directions from our host, Paola. Paola was there to greet us and to give us insights on where to go. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was very good because it was within 20 minutes of walking to the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and Mercato Centrale (great food!). The balcony gave us spectacular views of Firenze to enjoy our morning coffee and to relax after sightseeing all day. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment with a fabulous view

We stayed in this very clean, well equipped, spacious apartment for 4 weeks and every day we took time to enjoy the amazing view! Paola and Alfredo are fantastic hosts meeting us at the tram stop to guide us to the apartment. Then showing us the specifics of the apartment and providing us with lots of fabulous suggestions for our time in Florence. They were very quick to respond to any questions.The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals if you so choose. There is a grocery store, bakery, fabulous fish monger and fresh pasta shop very close to the apartment. The Train station and bus terminal are only a short walk away.We would highly recommend this apartment to our family and friends and would definitely stay here again if we return to Florence.

We had a great time

We stayed in this charming apartment for five days. The apartment was very good for the two of us who could sleep separatet and comfortably. The host was very accomodating and helpful. The location was perfect and so was the view from the balcony. If we return to Florence we will book this again!

Paola and her husband warmly greeted us personally at the apartment giving is a tour and then spent time giving us plenty of useful information on restaurants and places to visit while we were there. The apartment was spacious, had a wonderful balcony view and was equipped with everything we needed during our 9 day stay. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend the Maso Apartment to future clients!!

Perfect views and kind hosts

This delightful apartment is the perfect place to enjoy Florence’s most important iconic masterpieces. The check in process was easy as our host was there to greet us. The apartment was even more beautiful than the listing. The views were amazing and the amenities were more than ample for our needs as just two adults but we could see there being ample accommodation for more than two adults. We would recommend this apartment highly. Our host was so kind to walk us to the train station upon our departure. Very kind people! So much appreciated by travelers.

Family trip to Florence

We had a great time visiting Florence and the apartment with spectacular views from living room and huge balcony made the experience even better. The apartment is spacious, has all the amenities needed to comfortably rest after day of exploring the city. You can cook your own meals right in the apartment or visit one of many surrounding restaurants. The location is great, train station is literally 6 minutes away (walking) and all the main tourist attractions are also within short walking distance. Our host, Paola was great. She met with us when we arrived, showed us around and gave us some recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Thanks again Paola for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment and enjoy spectacular views of the city.

Location, view and wow

So glad I booked this apartment. I looked at all the previous reviews and thought can it be that good. Well the answer quite simply is YES!! Better than the images and much bigger. The hosts had thought of everything. We could not find one thing to be negative about. The aircon was essential as so so hot in Florence when we stayed. The balcony was our haven for breakfast and evenings. Superb views and being 6 floors up fairly quiet. They even left a couple of surprises for us. 5 minute walk from station and very easy to find. Instructions were perfect. Great restaurant downstairs, Maso. So close to everything and only 2 minute walk from the river. Dont hesitate just book. Thank you Alfredo and Paola.

Beautiful view

One of the most beautiful views in Florence. The building is taller than most and looks out on the skyline including the Duomo. Hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Incredible View!

I cannot speak highly enough about all of the special little touches that Paola made sure to include in her apartment. From the bright and beautiful decor, to the espresso machine, olive oil from their family grove, bottle of wine, and every necessity to accommodate a family away from home-she has thought of it all. The view...what a dream. We spent hours on the balcony, just soaking in the view and sounds of Florence. We loved the proximity to the train station and that it was not in the most crowded part of the city center.

Amazing Apartment

We had an amazing stay at this apartment! Everything was seamless and stress free from check-in to check-out. The views from the balcony are spectacular and we spent countless hours taking in the view. Paula was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. Better (but also more expensive) than you think

This apartment is amazing and much larger than expected. The view of Florence is incredible. Paola was also so kind and attentive. Absolutely everything about the apartment and host was terrific. However, one of the reasons I chose this place was the price. But by the time the substantial fees for “extra” guests were added on (the price listed is for two people only even though it can sleep many more comfortably), the €100 housecleaning fee, the €20 utilities fee, and others, it was not cheaper. Absolutely I could have backed out at that point and maybe I didn’t read the terms carefully enough, but I felt a bit swindled. Right up until I saw the apartment. But, honestly, in the end probably could have gotten a place in a better neighborhood (though not closer to the train station) for the same price I ended up paying.

Superbe!

Ce bel appartement se trouve près du centre historique de Florence. Cela permet de découvrir à pied cette superbe ville, ses musées et ses monuments. Tout le confort y est. Et on peut finir la soirée sur la terrasse avec cette magnifique vue sur la ville... Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et accueillants. A recommander!

Awesome apartment and location

This apartment is so nice, with beautiful views of the Duomo and rooftops. Sitting on the terrace was very relaxing, especially when the church bells were ringing. The location is excellent with good restaurants and easy walking distance to many sites. Paula and Alfredo met us at the train station and led us to the apartment, then showed us what we needed to know. We will definitely stay with them again!

Beautiful, quiet, romantic apartment with stunning views

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days over the New Year holiday, and it was even better than we could have imagined. The location was great - quiet neighborhood with all amenities and sights within a short walk. The balcony views were stunning. The bedroom had a very comfortable king-sized bed, and the room could be almost totally blacked out and sound proof with the metal shutters rolled down outside the windows. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, and the other amenities were all exactly what we needed. Paola and Alfredo were the perfect hosts - extremely helpful, friendly, and were always available to meet every need. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Firenze. Amazing property!

Beautiful apartment and fantastic host.

Paula is a excellent host. She came and met us at the railway station. A genuinely lovely person. The apartment is beautiful. The view is worth the booking alone. The location is excellent for the rail and bus stations. We used Florence as a center for daytrips. Venice is only 2hrs away. Florence center is a easy walk, as are all the main sites. We really liked the little restaurant opposite the apartment. Very friendly and good food. The only down point is that being near the rail station there are a few dodgy looking people. But we never had any problems, and after 10pm it was quiet and we had no problems sleeping. Paula saw us off and booked a taxi for us. Highely recommend.

You will also be 2 steps from the major rent a car for those who want to take a ride in the country on their own .
