Beautiful, cozy, and very clean rooms. The kitchen was the perfect size for cooking meals for a large family and was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was excellent—fishing and shopping were just minutes away. Communication with the hosts was outstanding; they were incredibly helpful and responsive every time we reached out. My family and I will definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here! Julio responded to our messages in a timely manner and it was the perfect amount of space for my friends and I. There were 10 of us total, and everyone had a cozy spot to sleep.

Cozy cabin

Had a wonderful stay at Julio’s cabin for the weekend. He was attentive and made sure we had a wonderful time in his clean, cozy cabin in big bear. Beautiful view of the mountains and such a nice woodsy vibe in the house. Would definetly come back!

Cabin was great

We decided to take a family trip to Big Bear and booked Julio’s cabin. We are so happy we booked this place. It was in such a great location, close to everything (stores, restaurants, ski resort, and so much more. Grill on site. We had an amazing time and this cabin was large enough for my big family. Thank you for allowing us to stay in you place.

Description on property was inaccurate. If there was a light. It either had a burned out light or not working very dark also weird that you had to go to the first floor to push the red button so you can use a shower. Also the property said it had two full bathrooms. This only had one and a half which is very inconvenient since we had two different couples with us. And also having four barbecues and only one kind of worked was also a very big inconvenient. After staying here I would never stay there again

Hi Andrea, thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry for the confusion with the bathrooms, the listing has been updated to clearly note better one full and one half bath. The lighting issue has since been fixed sorry about that, and the “red button” actually adjusts the water temperature sensitivity, not a shower switch. All four barbecues do work, though propane isn’t provided, which may have caused some confusion. I appreciate your comments and apologize for the inconvenience, your input helps us improve for future guests.

The cabin was cozy, rustic, and a great getaway for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The bedrooms were fully stocked with extra pillows, blankets, and comfortable beds. The bathrooms were a little on the older side, but clean. The kitchen also had older appliances but was stocked with enough plates, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans. The living room had enough seating and areas to lounge around when we would hang out at the cabin. The location was great because it wasn't too far from one of their main streets and close access to all the stores, sites, and the lake. The owner was very responsive and answered all our questions. Checking in and out was very easy. Just a couple things I would point out for other travelers. The cabin worked very well for our family because our kids are older. But just be aware that the stairs from the bedroom to living area is a bit narrow and steep for those with babies and toddlers.

Decent place but inaccurate listing

Location was beautiful and Julio is very responsive. But some items from the pictures were broken and unusable. Not too clean when we checked in. And the trash disposal location was incorrect so we drove around with trash after cleaning the property for an hour.

Hi there! We are sorry to hear that we fell short of your expectations! As you pointed out, we recently replaced the faulty parts and swapped out our old housekeeping for a more cooperative one. We apologize for making you drive about looking for a different garbage disposal; it was unavailable for use for a week due to maintenance. All in all, we believe we have fixed every issue, so visitors shouldn't worry about any further concerns. I sincerely hope you can return later to reinforce our argument even further!

Perfect Place

Had 8 friends and I stay in this listing with plenty of space.Super fast hot and cold waterAC and Heating worked amazing. Bedrooms were linked together with a laundry room. Realistically I think you could stuff 13 people into the property.Common room had plenty of space with a long reclining couch, love seat, single recliner, and a two-seater recliner. Has a huge flat screen TV that you could easily watch from anywhere. Also has a fireplace but we didn’t get the chance to use it out of laziness.Kitchen fully equipped with silverware, dishes, microwave, and plenty of storage for any food/ drinks. With more than 3 cars the parking would get iffy, depending on the skill of your drivers. We had no problem besides the drive way being a little steep plenty of room for parking. The location was perfect.3 minutes from tubing and a ropes course.8 minutes from snowboarding/skiing6 minutes from a grocery store, Starbucks, hardware store and more in shopping center.9 minutes from the village shops8 minutes from trash drop off siteHost very communicative and was available when needed. Heads up, the house is very static.My groups solution was boiling a pot of water until it was all evaporated, that solved the issue fine.Hopefully the next peoples experience will be just as amazing as ours.
