3101 Poolside Lagoon & Hot Tub ~ Pickleball ~ Bar & Dining ~ Book Oct 24th

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you had a wonderful stay and that everything about the property was excellent. We certainly understand the decision to depart early due to concerns about an approaching hurricane, as safety should always come first. However, we do feel it is important to distinguish between the quality of a property and circumstances beyond a host’s control. Weather conditions, including hurricanes, are not something we can control or be held responsible for. We work hard to provide a great experience for our guests, and it is disappointing when factors outside our control become part of the overall evaluation of a stay. We appreciate your kind words about the property and hope you’ll consider staying with us again on your next visit to Destin.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and for your 4-star rating. We’re very happy to hear you found the room very nice and clean—that truly means a lot to our team. We’re sorry the pool experience wasn’t quite what you had hoped during your stay. The large 11,000-gallon lagoon-style pool is not heated, while the smaller pool and hot tub are heated for guest comfort. During your visit, the weather was cooler than usual, which can naturally affect how comfortable the pool water feels. Outdoor weather conditions can naturally vary and may affect overall comfort in the pool areas. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and are glad you were still able to enjoy your visit overall. We would love the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the HVAC system experienced an unexpected maintenance issue upon your arrival. Unfortunately, mechanical issues can happen without warning, especially during the heat of August. Our team responded immediately and, fortunately, we had another villa available. Rather than asking you and your family to wait for an HVAC repair, we were able to relocate you into a cool, comfortable home within approximately one hour of being notified. Because the replacement villa required different access credentials, a new key had to be issued. We understand that added an extra step, but it allowed us to get your family settled comfortably as quickly as possible. We’re glad you and your family were able to enjoy the remainder of your stay and make lasting memories. While we’re disappointed to have lost a star despite going above and beyond to resolve an unexpected maintenance issue quickly and prioritize your comfort, we remain proud of how promptly our team responded and the solution we were able to provide.

Thank you Jeremy for booking with us. We're glad you had a wonderful time! Come back soon, we'd love to host you again
