Thanks for viewing our listing; one of many properties professionally managed by JonBie Maisons on Daufuskie Island.

First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach Daufuskie Island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

Newly Remodeled!

Perched steps away from the ocean, our beach cottage beckons with newly remodeled bathrooms and a cozy screened-in porch boasting spectacular ocean views. With the soothing sound of waves as your soundtrack, relax in coastal comfort and gather around the fire pit for memorable evenings under the stars. Escape to our haven offering an unforgettable retreat by the sea.

This premium cottage has it all. Situated on the ocean-front row of Daufuskie’s beautiful Avenue of Oaks, Beach Break guests will look to the Atlantic Ocean beach from the screened-in front porch. The cottage has a wonderful location, and cottage guests will be just steps away from the pristine Melrose Beach .

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious living/dining/kitchen area that is great for family and friend time. The cottage includes flat screen TVs and DVD players in the living room and both bedrooms. WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 8 or more with full size appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea Bar, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays!

Washer and dryer in cottage to make island life more convenient and comfortable; and there is a high chair and pack & play for your infant and toddler needs.

A golf cart will be included with your booking Information for reserving additional carts will be provided at booking.
GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, coolers, groceries, etc.

There was a perfect view of the ocean and we could even see dolphins playing from our back porch. Beds are comfy and kitchen has all you need!!! Enjoy

This was a lovely place. Beautifully decorated and updated. It was equipped with everything you would need for a great stay. The beds were so comfy, ample seating, and so close to the beach. We would stay here again.

The house is amazing! The island is beautiful! Communication with host was excellent. We will definitely be returning hopefully every year. I love that the island is not built up. Loved the history and exploring. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. We loved that it is pet friendly.

Great Location, Great Property

Stayed for a mother/daughter trip. Property was perfect for size and location. We enjoyed walking right out to the beach and relaxing with a view of the ocean in the evenings. Property was clean and well-maintained.

Great Beach Access

This house is super close to the beach and is extremely easy to go back and forth to the beach all day. Great house for a weekend get away with your spouse or friends.

Awesome place to get away from it all. The location is perfect with the beach access right in front. The island is charming and fun to explore on the golf carts. Our family had a wonderful time!!

The best get away

The best rental I have ever stayed at by far. I loved the property but most of loved the owners not only did they meet us in person to explain things but they made our experience and made our trip. We loved the island and will come back for years to come!

Discovered Dafuskie island

The home was very comfortable and had everything you’d need. I would recommend bringing groceries. Loved the easy walk on the beach and touring the island on golf cart. Thanks for great communication too!

Beach Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at the beach cottage at Melrose. The cottage is clean and very well furnished, and offers great views of the ocean and Hilton Head Island. The whole D'fuskie Island experience is extremely relaxing. The people are warming and inviting. Everything is a short golf cart drive away.

Great Stay as always

The logistics of getting to a bridge-less island makes getting here a bit more challenging than some other more traditional vacation spots but it is well worth the extra effort. Property manager is super helpful. She answered all our questions, eased our transportation concerns, and helped us make our time very high quality. Love the cottage vibe and can't wait to come back.

Relaxing getaway

This was our first time visiting Daufuskie Island and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with all the essentials. The location was perfect with a beautiful oceanfront view and just a few steps to the wide beach that is perfect for long strolls. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway on a remote quirky island, I highly recommend any of the properties hosted by JonBie Maisons.

Nice place to stay. Beach is about 100 yards from the back door. That’s about as close as you can get in that area. The golf cart travel is awesome. Kids loved swimming in the ocean. We would do it again.
