Exquisite 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 5000 sq ft home in the Sierra Foothills. Perfectly located just 45 minutes from ski resorts and 1 hour from Lake Tahoe. It is a Net Zero home with 65 solar panels and an EV charger installed for our guests' use. Spectacular sunset views over the Bear River Canyon. Relax in the 6 person hot tub and enjoy the professional sand volleyball court with night lighting (volleyball is available seasonally).

Prefer to stay home? Explore this stunning property:
• Put on your walking shoes and walk down the 1/2 mile private path to Bear River.
• Sit out on the balcony and be inspired by nature.
• Feeling competitive? Take advantage of the professional sand volleyball court with lights so you can play day or night.
• Release the foodie within and enjoy this amazing gourmet kitchen.

The location is private but within a few miles from the freeway. Near historic Grass Valley, Auburn, and Nevada City for shopping, dining, nightlife, and outdoor activities.

Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful through our stay. The home was large enough our group of 9 and we appreciated that our two dogs could join us. The kitchen was well appointed, especially important considering we cooked Thanksgiving turkey and all the sides, not to mention many other meals across the week. Great hiking trails and the volleyball court and playground for the kids was a big hit. We all agreed that we would consider retuning for another stay. This was better than most of the vacation rentals we have tried. Our hosts were terrific!

This house was absolutely perfect for a group of us staying here for the weekend for a retreat. The house was equipped with everything - plenty of cookware, dishes, glasses, towels, beach towels, refrigerator space, etc for our large group. The open space of the kitchen/family room was so lovely for cooking and enjoying meals together. We especially enjoyed the volleyball court during sunset (but were able to play into the night thanks to the great lighting), and even used the back driveway to do some outdoor yoga with an amazing view. Missi was communicative, responsive, and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to any big groups looking for a lovely getaway to nature!

This is a beautiful home with beautiful views. Plenty of room and very clean inside and out. A great home to entertain friends and family. Plenty to do for the kids and a cozy atmosphere.

This was such a beautiful property. There was so much to do on the property that we spent much of our vacation hanging out around the house. Owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. This was one of the best stocked rental properties that I've been to. Great stay!

Great property

Very nice house! Bedrooms were a bit different from the pictures on line. The issues we had were small and the property manager was awesome!! Very responsive and helpful!

Amazing, huge house with spectacular views

13 of us very comfortable stayed here as a landing for a nearby wedding. More than enough bedrooms and the very top floor room with the views was a gorgeous place for the bride to get ready with her bridesmaids. The young kids with us are begging to come back and stay. Easy beautiful hiking distance to the river. Wildlife everywhere and so serene. Host is extremely accommodating. 10/10 recommend this property!

Beautiful home and view!

We had 5 couples staying here. We had a lovely stay. This property is perfect for groups with kids and dogs! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Beautiful home and the view was amazing. There was a lot to do for families too. The master bedrooms were amazing!

Amazing Property!

Our extended family of 7 adults (ages 36 to 74) and three 12 year olds just spent 4 nights at this unique property, including Christmas, and everyone was very pleased with the choice. So much room for everyone from large spaces to gather to little private spots over the 3 levels to get away. And fantastic views! The outdoor areas of the large property offer endless opportunities for kids and adults alike and was securely fenced around the house which kept our little chihuahuas safe. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again!

Spacious & Beautiful Views

Perfect home for a weekend getaway. Close to the snow parks for the day, about 35 miles away. Children loved the tree swings and playground.

The sand volleyball court was the highlight of our stay and we loved the stadium lighting around it for night games. The house is huge with plenty of space for people to spread out and has great views. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to get away with friends

Missi is a wonderful host! Access was easy, information was clear and they were very responsive. The place itself was huge, with a full sand volleyball court with floodlights to play in the evening, beautiful hike to the river (although this time of year poison oak was prevalent) and very spacious sleeping areas for all your friends. The kitchen was a great hangout spot for 16 people and the property had more than enough space to play multiple lawn games, set up a frisbee golf course and kick back and relax to watch a movie. The room and balcony at the top (we called it the crows nest) is a perfect space to get away from it all and take in the beautiful views. There was plenty of parking spots and more than enough cold storage space (2 full fridges and 1 full freezer) for all the food and beverages. Could not have asked for a better spot.

Great house with amazing views

Rented this house with friends, so my husband and his buddies could golf at Dark Horse which was about 10 minutes away. The house was lovely and had plenty of room for the 6 couples. Found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed as well. An added bonus was the amazing views! Also the owner was great to work with.
