And don’t forget to pack your binoculars, as 270 species of birds have been sighted on the trail. When you want to explore, you’ll love the easy proximity to South Padre Island and the lower Rio Grande Valley. There are frequent activities at nearby Roloff Park, around one-half mile away, and the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge is around 12 miles away.
At home, spend time relaxing in the screened patio with coffee each morning while the kids play in the huge yard. Turn on the twinkly lights strung from the patio pergola outside each evening and host a family cookout on the grill. Inside, you’ll find a one-level living space designed for comfort and togetherness. The full, open kitchen flows into the dining area and family room, so everyone can relax together while the chef makes mealtime magic.
Just around the corner, the den features a comfortable futon and dedicated desk space, sure to be a hit with any remote workers in the group. Free WiFi makes it easy to stay connected, and two streaming-capable TVs offer entertainment options each night. More vacation essentials include a washer/dryer and central AC. With so much space to spread out and such easy access to gorgeous natural attractions, the only question left is how many extra days to book.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). House was beautiful, location was perfect, so peaceful and great value for what we paid. Beds and pillows were so comfy and cozy!! Loved everything about this home.

Birds, beach & comfort!
Came to South Padre for the Causeway Run and to see some birds. Saw lots of South Texas specialties right from the rental's screened back porch and quite a few others on the Laguna Vista Nature Trail just 100 yards away. All in all this house is super comfortable and spacious and close to Port Isabel's stores and restaurants and a quick drive (or run!) to South Padre. Highly recommended.
