Ā· This condo has an ocean & beach view, unit is 215Ā²ft and priced accordingly.
It is ideal for solo travelers or couples who travel light and comfortable with sharing intimate space.
Ā· Closing the window will help in reducing noise level. But please understand we are steps from the world-famous Waikiki Beach! The ocean view is just across from the busy Kalakaua Ave. Gladly most of our guests find no problem at all.
Ā· At the end of trip, for guest who have any item they would like to leave for future guests (chair, boogie board, etc) please kindly bring to front desk.
Please DO NOT leave them in the closet or the unit, so our next guest can fully utilize the space.
Ā· For guests who have any issues during stay, we have the front desk staff there to assist 24/7.

Nice place very convenient. Itā€™s a little outdated and the faucets have very little water pressure. There is a fair amount of street noise. Would stay again for a short stay of 3-4 days. It is a smaller unit which was totally fine with us but may be an issue for some people

Wonderful stay and the views of Diamond Head, the ocean and Kapiolani Park are outstanding. Yes, there is street noise during the day, but at night with the lanai doors closed and AC we both slept soundly. Coffee pods and creamers made for an enjoyable sunrise on the lanai. Comfortable bed and the front desk was very responsive to any of our requests. Quite frankly, I've stayed in other condos at twice the price and no views. As a retired flight attendant, I'm particular with my lodging choices and the Waikiki Grand checks all the boxes!

The air conditioner was very loud when it turned on, it was also quite useless, too old, likely needed filter cleaned. This unit is also one that has not been refurbished, so when you shower, the tub fills with water and takes 3 or 4 hours top drain

The location is great. Itā€™s so close to the beach and has great views of diamond head and the ocean. Itā€™s a great budget option and the balcony was nice. Some of the fixtures of the room are a bit older and it wasnā€™t the cleanest place. Some sheets and towels had permanent stains and there was someone elseā€™s hair on the bed and sheets when we arrived. The kitchen area hadnā€™t been thoroughly checked and the soy sauce had mold growing in it. Otherwise, everything was good.

Small room but perfect for a solo traveler. Itā€™s right by the beach. The Hulaā€™s bar/nightclub is also in the same building, which is fun. A highlight of the room is opening the French doors and enjoying the balcony views. Photo attached was an amazing sunset from the balcony!

Amazing place, clean, plenty of towels (we like to shower a lot). Across the street from the Honolulu zoo (worth it!). Perfect location. Having the beach chairs and beach umbrella in the room saves you like 70 on the beach

Wonderful location at the end of Waikiki Beach, facing the zoo. Beach is less than a block away with tons of restaurants close by! Not spacious by any means but great place to stay for a short time!

The location was great for getting to the bus to go anywhere. There are some really great street food venders all within walking distance. The street traffic was pretty loud. We didn't realize the window section was louvered. So loud noise was heard a lot until 11pm. The balcony was nice, it was warmer than normal during our visit.We didn't use it much for that reason.It is a nice setup, if there was better sound buffering we would stay again.

Location was great to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bus stop. Staff at front desk were friendly and informative. Nice to have free ice machine and paid laundry in the building basement. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony each morning overlooking the beach and zoo area. I had a cool drink at night on the balcony and did some people watching down below. The room is quiet except for the rare music-blasting car that might drive on Kapahulu. I never heard my building guests at all.

Great location, but worn and very noisy apartmentThe main strength of this apartment is the location ā€“ close to everything and an excellent base for exploring the area. The apartment has what you need, and while it is small, that was fully expected.Unfortunately, there are several downsides that lower the overall impression. The apartment is significantly more worn than the photos suggest, and it did not feel completely clean upon arrival. It is also very noisy, with a lot of street noise and music coming from outside ā€“ bringing earplugs is highly recommended.The air conditioning was unreliable and very loud when it did work. The kitchen faucet made alarming noises when using cold water, and the bathroom faucet only produced a very thin stream of hot water.All things considered, if you are not sensitive to noise or a worn interior, this can still be a good place to stay due to its excellent location. The staff were friendly and communication was good. However, the apartment would greatly benefit from a refresh and better sound insulation in the windows and balcony door.

Wonderful Stay!

Fantastic location! Gorgeous view! Within walking distance to beach, zoo, shops and restaurants. Older building, bathroom door was difficult to open and close and windows were more like shutters so you could hear cars, radios and talking on busy street below late into the night. But I would say it was worth it given all of its positive points.

Very small room, felt like a hotel room. 2 ppl stayed in my group and it was very tight. Great location being close to the beach and a wonderful balcony. Hot water wasnā€™t working correctly during our stay. Great choice if you plan to spend very little time in the room. Bed was comfortable.

Great Location, Great Service

The place was very clean and the elevators very fast. The person at the front desk greeted us and was very helpful. The beach is only a couple hundred feet from the building and we had a great view of the Beach, Ocean, Park and Diamond Head. There are 2 restaurants and a bar in the building and over 25 restaurants within a mile along with endless shops and stores close by. They have parking in the building for guests if you have a car. It will cost about $30.00 a day, but reserve you space prior to your arrival to guarantee a spot. We had a car for half of our vacation. We had a great time here and will come back.

Mary and Jonathan at the front desk were excellent friendly and helpful with all questions and needs. Mark was always quick to respond to questions. The wife is not what the letter says and it is not what is posted in the room. Contact Mark for an update. The room is pretty much as shown, the cabinet by the table has changed but it is fine for holding our clothes and suitcases. In reading some reviews there are complaints about noise. Hey, it is Waikiki, there is noise. Yes the slatted windows don't filter out the noise as some buildings but.... I slept just fine... except for the loud Cars. Waikiki needs some noise bylaws. At first glance it feels small and shows it's age, but you know the location, the price, the staff, The mini fridge, the microwave, the new clothes washers/dryers are all great. I would rather stay here than pay extra to stay at a fancy new building. It suited our needs. The bed was comfortable and coming from an area without air conditioning it took us a bit to figure out how to manage the room temp. I loved sitting on the balcony with the little table ledge. We had the best time there people watching. We could see the sun come up and the sun go down. It got a bit hot out there mid day but we took that to be nap time. We tried out the pool. It was a nice cool dip and some sun time. Only once was I joined by others. The construction surrounding the pool was a little loud at times.We have discovered since we got home our friends stay here every time

Great location, great view

We really liked the location of this unit since it is not in the center of Waikiki, but you still easily walk there. The beach is only half a block away. The balcony is overlooking a park instead of other hotels, with the zoo on the left and beach/ocean on the right. It is a great people watching balcony. It is a bit noisy because of the road below, but we could not hear the nightclub that other people reported about. The unit is basic, but it has all you need; hot water kettle, coffee machine, fridge+freezer, some pots and pans, etc., even a french press. The 10th floor terrace is nice to hang out as well. Even better views!

Communication with property manager was excellent. Fridge and microwave wasn't turned on when we first came into the room but was immediately fixed. Location couldn't be better being so close to the beach, Honolulu zoo, Waikiki area. Very small room, wobbly furniture, there is no space for cooking if you want to use the mobile cooking unit. Couldn't close the balcony door, so street noise was loud even with the AC turned on. The unit was definitely big and sufficient for us as a couple, but it's not a place you can relax in.
