This condo has a unique location in the Gated Truman Annex. It is very quiet, but yet very close to all Key West has to offer.
The entrance road to the Ft Zachary Taylor St. Beach Park is right at the end of our block, for Lazy Days of snorkeling, swimming and sightseeing. The best sunset spot.
Duval St. is 2 blocks up, with shopping, restaurants and world class entertainment.
The 2 porches, for privacy and sun options, also separates this from other properties.
We also have a heated pool just across the courtyard.
The 2 old town harbors, are also close by for all you ocean adventures, or just sightseeing.

Close to everything with a short walk but was very quiet at night. On sire parking makes having a car to get around easy.

Excellent property, well equiped. Easy location to Ft Zachary beach, shopping and restaurants, all walkable. The pool was lovely. The hosts attention to detail in the home to ensure all the comforts of home is outstanding! Throw blankets, extra towels, comfy furniture... it was all super! The host, Pam, was very responsive & accomodating. Definitely recommend & would stay here again.

Peaceful stay!

This was a great place to getaway and relax. Just a few minutes from the beach and a couple of blocks to the night life. Very beautiful and clean. We had a great time.

Perfect location

Our “home” for the week was cute, cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Its location was perfect, walkable to nearly everyplace we wanted to go (or a 2 minute wait for an Uber). We especially enjoyed the porches and the nearby pool. Pam was so easy to work with. If we ever come back to Key West, we would happily stay here again.

Great Condo in an Excellent Location

We had an excellent stay. The condo was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We loved the porches and the landscaping.The condo's location was excellent, so close to everything we were interested in visiting. Pam was an excellent host. We had no issues during our stay and all communications were positive and timely.We highly recommend this location and hope to be able to visit again ourselves in the future.

Perfect location and owner

I will start by saying working with Pam was wonderful from reservation to checkout. Every question asked was answered promptly with an absolute willingness to make our stay great and it was. The location is great for working to the pool, state park beach, Whitehead & Duval streets and catching the Duval Loop bus. The owners keep the place in excellent condition with everything you need for your state. Hopefully after Jan 1st they can continue weekly rentals as we have stayed in Truman Annex 2 times and loved it both time. Thanks Pam for being a great host.

Good location!

Clean, good location, host always responded to text messages. Would def stay there again. Only small negative, not a block away from the beach. With heat, cooler, chairs, we needed to take an Uber to the beach. Overall really good experience. Property and pool A+

Key West Is the best

Perfect location. Nice covered porch to sit and have coffee every morning. Very clean with updated kitchen and bath. Close to the pool. Ft Zachary Beach walking distance as well as Duval St. Everything was perfect and condo owner was very accommodating allowing us to leave our bags a few extra hours on our departure day. She promptly answered all our questions.

Great location

We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood! Very easy walking distance to Duvall street, far enough to not be in the crazy hustle. It is quite a walk to Fort Ben beach ( a bike would be very doable ), but a bit too far for chairs and a cooler. The home is a bit outdated, but it didn’t bother us a bit. Comfy beds!! Very walkable to everywhere if you don’t mind stopping and exploring along the way. We never used a bike or a car, and we’re able to explore almost the entire island.

Wonderful Space

This condo was in the perfect location - a few blocks to get to Duval Street and Mallory Square, about a 15 minute walk to get Fort Zach beach, the Farmer's Market at the waterfront park, and right off the Duval Loop if you want to grab the free bus. Everything we needed was at the condo - beach gear, kitchen items, and plenty of towels, etc. The condo was clean and well-maintained. The deck facing the pool was perfect for any time of the day! I would have appreciated a check in/check out sheet with some additional logistical pieces (pool things, garbage, etc), but whenever I had questions, I was able to connect with Pam easily. We would recommend a stay here!

Great location!

We had a fantastic vacation! The location is the best part. We would walk to the waterfront park to watch the sunset every night (a lot less crowded than Mallory Square). They have a splash pad and playground there too. We tried to walk to the beach the first day but carrying chairs and bags in the heat, it was farther than we thought. It’s very doable but we took the Uber back and brought our car the other times. It’s super close to restaurants and shops. It’s right in front of the pool which the kids enjoyed too. The unit itself is just what we needed. Some of the furniture were a little outdated but it didn’t bother us much. We loved sitting at the back porch at night also. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location, accommodation, and amenities

Condo was clean, great location, and had a covered balcony. Enjoyed the pool, sitting on the balcony, and the cool air conditioning. Would definitely stay again.

Horrible Customer Service

Thank you for responding to me. I do have to say that the level of communication from VRBO customer service team hasn't been great. I finished my vacation on July 10th and hadn't heard back on this issue. I want to capture everything that happened very clearly in one place so you have everything you need to give me my refund quickly. 1) I booked a vacation for a location in Key West from July 2nd to July 10th that hit my credit card for $2,973 (see attached) 2) When my gf and I travelled to Key West on July 2nd I hadn't received any information about how to check into the location from the original host. I messaged numerous times via the VRBO app and called the listed number. As we were approaching check in time and my gf and I were quite tired we tried again to call but no response. At that point we called VRBO customer service. VRBO customer service called the host 3 times with no response. I was told to call back again after check in time. I did, keeping in mind each time I'm waiting on hold for about an hour each time. The VRBO customer service called the host again 3 times with no response. At that time I was transferred to traveller care and they told me: The original booking would be reversed They would book me in hotel for 3 days at no cost, any resort fee would be reimbursed to me They would send me alternative locations which would be booked for no extra cost 3) We checked into The Marker hotel that the VRBO traveler care team had booked for 3 nights. I put my credit card down for the resort fee which ended up being $162 (see attached). While we were at the Marker I was on numberous calls with the traveler care team to find a new suitable location and I have an e-mail from Quinton on that team saying any difference from the original booking would be reimbursed (see attached). We agreed on a location that wasn't exactly near our original booking but somewhat close. 4) I got back from vacation to see a charge on my credit card for the new booking of $4,096 (see attached) and another VRBO fee of $435 (see attached). Then I got an e-mail from someone name Amanda saying I wasn't going to get anything back because the original host had reached out after check in!! So from my original expense of $2973, I now have charges totalling $7,666 ($4,096+$2,973+$435+$162). So I'm being overcharged $4693 by VRBO. My expectation is the following: 1) Original booking charge reversed $2973 - The host wasn't available to check in. Your VRBO team boo

Just perfect……everything you needed was available and great condition. Perfect location that is only blocks from Duvall street. Grocery store within walking distance. Public beach fort Zachary a walking distance. Will use this property again Thanks Pam.

My husband and I had been traveling to the Keys with our kids to dive since the early 80's. We really liked Key West, and when the chance came up, we bought this 2 bedroom condo in the Truman Annex, and have been lucky enough to have had many happy times there. The is no place like it, and also the weather, and the water, is the warmest in the country during the winter months. Staying in the Truman Annex is a little like living in Disney World, so clean and unique, and so much to do.
