West Malibu highlands

True to description. 3 Fabulous king bedrooms and three queen rooms. 2 couches in game room. Very spacious and well laid out with well provisioned kitchen and counter and stools for gathering at meal prep. Everyone ouside for bug sky sunsets and at times december fog rolling in. Some were nervous about deer creek road going up but it's all paved and safe. Part single lane. Departure on road to the east was favored by some. Owner kind and addressed a leaky water heater outside within an hour after notice. Pricey, maybe, but a delightful spot for a group get together.

Decent value for space and privacy

Host was friendly but I feel compared to how they advertised the property vs what is offered, there were things amiss. I.e., we arrived at 5pm 1 hour after check in and the water heater was being replaced and wasn't completed until after 7pm. We were never notified of this and could had been an issue if we needed the place sooner, but fortunately we decided to eat out for dinner. The host charged a $3500 wedding venue fee even though the wedding was just 10 people total as it was a private wedding, and less than the maximum guest policy. We only used the place as a standard location venue as any other renter would for space purposes since we wanted the view outside, so I don't know what the extra $3500 got us, when initially they presented it as though they would offer us assistance or guidance in finding someone who could arrange the venue for such an event but they never offered us anything after I asked several times. Condition of the place is more on the needing repair side, items like the doors out of alignment, some areas of torn carpet, the walls needing painting from water leaks. Some cables coming from the ceilings w/out explanation, not that it makes a difference to the stay, but aesthetics definitely on the needing TLC end for a house in Malibu. The house has seen better days for sure. Stuff like Sheets, towels are clean and basic supplies to stay overnight, nothing fancy. I feel we sacrificed too much for what we paid without being told of many things.

Beautiful, tranquil home!!

This property was everything we wanted for our small, intimate ceremony for our marriage vows. We had our closest family members stay with us, and everyone absolutely loved the place. The view is unbeatable and more importantly, Gabby was an absolute pleasure to work with!! She helped me with all my wishes and was very friendly. Quick responses as well. No regrets with this rental 🙏

Incredible view, room for all

We had a dozen people together for a birthday weekend. We end our guests were blown away by the beauty of the place. There is space for everyone to be comfortable together, or apart. The pool and patio with its incredible view were fantastic. The sunsets every night were an event. Gabby was responsive and helpful and incredibly kind. We will look forward to an opportunity to come back.

Pet friendly beach getaway

We loved our stay at this spacious home. There are 3 sizable master bedrooms with ocean views and private baths, which is rare for a VRBO property. There are also 3 additional smaller bedrooms, so plenty of space. The views are incredible. The pool heater wasn’t working, but the jacuzzi was fantastic. Gabby responded quickly to all my inquiries and refunded the pool heating fee. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of basics, and the bathrooms have toiletries (no hairdryer so bring one with you). The home was comfortable and spacious … we didn’t want to leave! One tip—make sure you save or jot down all check in info (gate and lockbox codes) BEFORE you get to the top of the hill because you won’t be able to retrieve it with cell service (no bars). Once you get to the house the wifi connection is great though. We hope to be able to return!

The most breath taking View! Unforgettable.

We stayed at Gabbys gorgeous property for a long Girls Weekend. The House was perfect for the 8 of us! Could squeeze more in, for sure. The House is up quite a tricky (if you’re a weary driver, it may make you nervous to drive up) road, it’s 1 lane at times, so DEFINITELY plan to arrive at the House BEFORE DARK!! Also, be sure you bring ALL that you need because once you’re at the House you want to leave. and I do mean *all. There weren’t many kitchen basics so don’t assume much will be there or Confirm with Gabby beforehand. (Ie coffee, tea, water, ice..) *It is quite a Trec to any food/groceries. And you won’t want to drive down the Hill unless it’s time to leave. The Home could use some more Love and attention but I know Gabby is working on updating and improving the renters experience diligently. She couldn’t have been more responsive, kind and Accommodating. The Pool/Hot tub are an additional Charge so that can add up… But for every short coming at the House there are such incredible pluses. We will be finding a reason to go back. That view is truly unforgettable. Thank you!
