Would you like to connect your soul to land that is just 20 minutes from the beach? May and June are perfect times to visit and pick some fruit! Your stay in Mango 2 just east of Fort Myers includes the opportunity to relax in a newly decorated home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, large great room with full kitchen and plenty of wide open spaces. Gather some fresh eggs from the farm, or pick Mangos, Mulberrys or Lychee. Explore our 20 acres of serenity with trees, ponds and wide open spaces. During your stay, have a picnic beside our fishing pond. Pick some fruit - fresh from the tree.

All of this is just minutes away from restaurants and shopping. There's always a beach within an hour. If you are looking for sun, sand, water sports, golf or a relaxing get-a-way - you have found it at our "Mango Two" home. Come experience something different. It's time to relax. You deserve it!

Pretty nice, with a few minor issues

Overall this stay was fine, but there were a few issues that prevent me from rating 5 stars. The good: -Close to the airport -Interesting land to explore -Felt safe -Spacious -The screen-in porch was nice to sit out in The less good: -There is a rooster that crowed all hours of the night -There was no shampoo (which is listed as an amenity) and the soap in the shower was a partially-used yellowed bar -The showerhead was quite dirty -None of the doors fit quite right so you have to slam them shut and really yank on them to open -The tap water is not good to drink (The host did leave a jug of water in the fridge, but if I had known the water wasn't good I would have brought my own as well) -The listing says there are 2 queen beds but "sleeps 7". We were 4 people (only 1 couple) and were optimistic there would be a couch or something to accommodate sleeping arrangements, but the couch has a large center console making it impossible to sleep on. The only way you would get 7 people to sleep there is if some slept in chairs or in the porch area. -"Games" are listed under entertainment amenities, but none were found I wish I could say better things, but hopefully the host will update the items mentioned. He was quick to respond when I messaged about restaurant options.

The peaceful getaway we hoped for

We enjoyed a few days away from the busyness of town at Mango 2. The owner was very kind and showed me and my son the animals and plants around the large property. We felt comfortable and safe there and enjoyed a few days of calm and simplicity, still being close to everything we needed. We are grateful for the experience.

Here at Mango Two - We have worked to create a vacation home that is welcoming, full of comfort, and completely user-friendly. Comfortable furnishings, a large wifi smart tv in the great room, Fully equipped kitchen and laundry, large screened porch - all aim to help you find rest, leisure, comfort and relaxation.

Mango Two offers our guests a quiet time on our 20 acre farm. You will hear roosters! You can go fishing! You can walk all around the property. If you want some exercise, there are several restaurants and a Publix grocery store, as well as two convenience stores just across the road. If you want to experience real resort ambiance, a very short drive to "The Boat House" will provide a meal right along the Caloosahatchee river. You can even take your meal poolside if you choose. And the "largest TV in Florida" shows all the big games around the bar area.
