About this space
You’re in for a treat! Newly updated basement apartment in quiet community tucked between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Easy access to ski resorts, hiking and within walking distance of the beautiful Willow Creek Golf Course. Relax in the hot tub and enjoy our quiet backyard with mature trees. Full kitchen, tea and coffee station and laundry. Star Wars room for the kiddos. Private parking. Sleeps six to eight.
The space
You'll park in the second driveway along the west side of the home and enter through the back of the property. We're excited to welcome you to our newly renovated space.

We are still in the process of adding new features so we'd love your feedback from your stay.

Note: This is an older home we are updating and the queen bedroom does not have access to the outside. If you are not comfortable with that but would still like to book then you may use just the two other bedrooms, which can sleep up to 6. We're happy to provide an air mattress or cot if you need an additional bed for the family room. (the couch does not pull out)
Guest access
You'll have access to the full basement apartment, the backyard and hot tub.
Other things to note
We're technically zoned as a bed and breakfast, so we'll have a modest selection of breakfast offerings for you to enjoy.
If you need anything, please ask - we're right upstairs and are happy to help!

Great access to ski resorts

Very much enjoyed the easy access to the ski resorts in Big & Little Cottonwood Canyons. Unit was well maintained and as described in the listing. Host communications were timely and effective.

Great stay

This rental was a clean, spacious, and comfy stay. It was in a great location, close to Snowbird Resort, which is why we were there. The host was very friendly and the neighborhood was very quiet. The house has a great backyard for hanging out in, and a jacuzzi- although too hot for us to use it this trip. Would definitely recommend this place!

Family vacay

This property exceeded our expectations. We were skeptical at first being in a downstairs living spice but when you walk in, it really is your own private space separate from the rest of the house. It comes well stocked with all essentials and there were even fresh eggs (from the chickens on their property) that we made for breakfast. Fresh eggs really are better. The backyard was perfect for our 2 boys to play as well as our golden retriever. We utilized the hot tub multiple times as well. All three bedrooms are clean and adorably decorated and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The best part of this listing is the owners, who were immediately available when needed ( which wasn’t often because we honestly had most everything there). They even came out to let my kids feed the chickens. We plan to stay at this spot whenever we are in Salt Lake City. Highly recommend and can’t thank the owners enough for such a lovely visit.

Great basement apartment ~20 minutes from Alta/Snowbird

Clean and convenient location with everything we needed. We slept five and still had an extra bed left over. We even had fresh eggs from the owners' chickens waiting for us in the fridge. Best part was the hot tub was always heated and ready to go for us when we got back from the ski mountain. Thanks so much for the great accommodations!

Fantastic Spot Close to Skiing

Great location close to the SLC Ski resorts, easy to get to Alta/Snowbird. Stayed a couple nights to ski the area. Awesome post ski hot tub, comfy beds, super easy check in/out, wonderful hosts!

I would give 6 stars review if I could !

This place is awesome! It was very spacious for a group of 5 ppl. We had everything we needed during the entire stay - kitchen is well stocked, the owner even prepared qtips, makeup cotton and body lotion (this literally saved our life from the dry winter!!) in the bathroom. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of the stay. It was very clean and spacious. We love hanging out there after an exhausting ski day. Speaking of skiing, snowbird is only 20min away!! The location of this place is so awesome! The owner is so thoughtful they even provided netflix/disney+ account for the guests. Definitely recommended and would love to stay here again next time!

Nice apartment dog friendly.

Very nice apartment that was dog friendly. Streaming of the TV was a little challenging but the host was helpful.

All we needed and more!

The owner and his wife were amazing with prompt communication right from the moment I booked. The house was everything we needed for my family with little kids. There were extra things we didn't expect that were a bonus to have and which were truly thoughtful, such as few food items in fridge, he even got us smores and added a hammock chair for the kids to enjoy , we also enjoyed the dogs coming to say hello sometimes! House was clean, all supplies where present. Location was excellent, grocery store was near by, neighborhood was nice and the deck sitting right by the river made our evenings extra special. I have nothing but 100% recommendation for this one!

Fantastic stay!

We had an excellent stay! The house has been updated and was perfect for us and our kids (ages 8-20). The yard is beautiful and you can hear the water running in the river beyond the property. The host was quick to respond to messages and so helpful! We would gladly stay again!
