The beach with its’ grass-roofed shack that dates back to the early 1940's and is designated as a National Landmark, enjoys a colorful history involving the quintessential California surfing and beach culture integrated into the exclusive high-end community of La Jolla.

Sandstone rocks act as partitions along the beach offering a secluded atmosphere for picnics, intimate gatherings and sunbathing.
