This great house worked perfectly for our mini family reunion. We enjoyed the large kitchen that opens out to the backyard with the beautiful pool, nice hot tub, lounge chairs and huge sun umbrella. Its location is quiet, but close to UCSB, IV and Goleta shops and restaurants. A relaxing, quiet retreat!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, spices and cookware. The pool was immaculate and perfect to relax in throughout the day. The location is a short drive from the 101 and access to beaches and restaurants. Would highly recommend for a fun friend weekend or a family vacay.

Resort Getaway

We had an amazing time in this wonderfully appointed home! Susie is a great host who made sure our vacation was complete. The pool and yard area is gorgeous and we were made to feel right at home!

We had an amazing stay at the property in Goleta. Very clean, very organized, kitchen is fully stocked with any dish or cooking appliance you could ask for. The girls loved the pool and us moms loved the hot tub. Excellent location and even though there’s not air-conditioning, we were completely comfortable in the home and sleeping at night. Would absolutely stay here again!

Sandpiper Golf Tournament

Everything was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped with everything necessary to entertain. The pool and hot tub were amazing. I have only great things to say and will definitely book for next year!

Nice quiet home.

We really enjoyed the home. Enjoyed the pool. Everyting was perfect except the pool is not for elderly as there is no railing to get into the pool.

It was perfect! We were in town for our niece’s wedding and the host allowed us to check in early. We had wedding events all week and we were located in the perfect spot! The house was clean and beautiful. And the pool was heavenly to relax in after all the days events! It is worth every penny! Thank you again, Cyndi Walker

Middle of it all

Location is great - central to anything you might want to do near UCSB. Pool/Spa were better than the pictures. Beds were very comfortable. Game collection was crazy. We had a great time. Communication was great.

Peaceful pleasant vacation getaway near beach and Lake Cachuma

We had a lovely spring break vacation at Susie's home. We had everything we needed - from very comfortable rooms, a quiet neighborhood, a gas bbq grill, full equipped kitchen, swimming pool, high speed internet, and board games galore. Everything was very clean and we got to enjoy relaxing at the house in between our fishing outings at Goleta Pier and Lake Cachuma. Thank you, Susie, for a lovely stay and for being responsive to all our questions!

A Quick Weekend Visit

My family (husband, daughter (15), son (13), son (2), and my mother came to visit my son who goes to college in Santa Barbara for his 21st birthday. The home was perfect for us! Very cozy and inviting and the backyard/pool were wonderful! Susie was great to work with. I highly recommend her home! When the day of checkout came I didn’t want to leave.

UCSB Bound

We rented this house in Goleta close to UCSB. This was move-in weekend for our freshman daughter. The house was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub in the early morning with a cup of coffee. Beds were very comfortable. The house was 7 to 8 minutes to the college to drop our kiddo off. Stayed in town a few days to get her settled. Will definitely be back.

Sisters' Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Communication with Susie was excellent and many useful amenities were provided (ie beach towels, Keurig). The only difficulty we had was that there was a slight smoke smell throughout the property, particularly in rooms with carpets. The property is described as non-smoking. One member of our party is very sensitive to scents, so this was a slight issue. Otherwise, the property was very comfortable, particularly the well-equipped kitchen and lovely pool.

We do allow smoking outdoors at our house and there was a large wildfire burning in the hills behind area during your stay, not to mention it was 4th of July. To many personal items in the house. House was older than what we expected. Pool was too cold to be used, not heated. TV instructions were good but reception sketchy. Bedroom, Fire TV much better than Roku in Living room. Well stocked with necessities.

Three of us stayed at Susie’s VRBO over four days to play in golf tournaments over an extended weekend. The house is located in a quiet family neighborhood in Goleta near the Sandpiper golf course. Booking was easy and Susie was responsive with communications before and during our stay. The residence was found as describe. The house was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were supplied with towels, soap, shampoo, and body lotion. The kitchen was one of the best I have experienced supplied with not only dishes, silverware and glassware but with all kinds of cookware and serving dishes for preparing meals for eating in. There was a cabinet stocked with all kinds of dry spices, salt, pepper, sugar, etc to prepare meals. The refrigerator had an external dispenser for water, crushed and cubed ice and they worked. You had your choice of three coffee makers depending on your brewing preference. The living room had a large screen TV for viewing your favorite programs with an upgraded sound system. The internet connection was strong. While we did not use them, the house had a pristine pool and hot tub available for use. The front door was equipped with a coded lock to for ease of entering and leaving the house. We will be booking Susie’s place for our annual golf trip next year to Sandpiper and Ojai.

Great pool and patio for family gathering

We came with an extended family group of 6 people for UCSB graduation. When at the house we spent almost all our time outdoors at the generous table under the lovely vine-covered terrace, on the lounge chairs, or in the pool or jacuzzi! Umbrellas for shade and plenty of pool towels added to the convenience. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and serving food and we enjoyed poolside breakfasts all weekend. The family appreciated blackout blinds to help with sleep on a full and exhausting weekend. The location is in a quiet neighborhood 10 minutes from UCSB. Susie was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We did unplug some scent atomizers due to a few of us being sensitive, people very sensitive to scents might want to simply request they are unplugged before arrival. We would stay again.
