Newly remodeled unit with west views of sunsets

This unit was just extensively remodeled by owners. It is our full time residence that we rent out when we are traveling. The unit is 1500 sq. ft. under air, which is larger than the typical two bedroom unit in this complex. We enlarged the guest bath, which opens into the guest bedroom and a common hallway. The guest bedroom was expanded and now has its own TV and sitting area. There is an office in the rear of the kitchen and the washer/dryer is also located there. The unit comes with all linens and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bath and guest bath both have showers. There is a king size bed in the master, a king size bed in the guest bedroom and a full size Murphy bed in the living room. Hair dryers are provided in both bathrooms. There are HDTVs in both bedrooms and the living room. The living room is a 70' , the master is a 39' the guest bedroom is a 42' . The living room and guest bedroom have Blue Ray disc players. The sound system through out is Sonos.

The lanai looks due west for fabulous sunsets that change nightly. You are so close to the beach you can hear the surf.

The property has two tennis courts and two swimming pools. The Marriott and Hilton hotels are minutes away by beach. Numerous restaurants are within short walking distance. Free Wi-fi and full size washer and dryer in unit. The Somerset complex has over 200 palm trees and won the 2019 award for best landscaped condo on Marco.

Weve stayed at several condos in this complex, and this one was one of the best! Recently remodled so everything felt new, fresh, clean. Very comfortable furnature (a rarer thing than one might think), well-stocked kitchen (we like to cook most of our meals), comfortable beds. A couple minor issues arose, but the host was very responsive and quick to address them. We'll stay here again!

Truly fantastic place to stay. All amenities and more provided. Home away from home. We stayed from 07/26 - 08/02. If the following week would have been available, we would've stayed. Easy communication with host.

Amazing sunsets

View from the balcony is awesome. Bathrooms are very nice, kitchen is great, beds were comfortable. We walked the beach, heading north to the JW - the beach in front of the Somerset is nicer than some of the properties to the north. There are sections that get VERY shell-filled to the north. Storage units for beach gear was a great feature. Would definitely book here again.

Family vacation

We had an amazing time in a great condo! It had everything thing we needed. Mike was easy to work with and answered all my questions promptly.It was an easy walk to the beach, we saw beautiful sunsets from our balcony, and ate great food. Check-in and checkout was easy.Love Marco Island and loved this condo!We will be back!

Marco Island 2025

This is a very nice condo! It was our first year at the Somerset and we liked it very much! The view from the lanai is beautiful! We enjoyed playing cards on the lanai table while watching the sun go down! The unit was very clean as well. We had an issue with the kitchen sink faucet and the property manager was there right away to fix it. I do think some of the beach chairs could stand to be updated. This was a very nice unit and I would recommend it!

Amazing Balcony

We had a wonderful time here. Lovely apartment with a great, spacious balcony with an amazing ocean view and beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to restaurants and easy drive to beautiful Naples too.

Fantastic, beautiful, easy

We loved our time in this condo! Communication was outstanding! Our property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful! The bed was super-comfy (and we both have back problems, so that was fantastic), and everything was marvelously clean when we arrived. We absolutely LOVED the balcony with its western views of the ocean, and spent many hours out there. Thank you so much. We hope to be back!

Wonderful Stay!!

We stayed at this wonderful condo in July 2024. The pictures are true to what you get which is a wonderful condo which is right on the beach. You will have access to 2 pools, and a breathtaking view of the ocean. A stroll to the ocean is only steps away. The owners are great that you have access to a beach locker which has every beach chair, umbrella, beach toy you can think of. My 11 year old loved using the beach toys and the boogie board on the ocean. The balcony is great to watch the sunset and enjoy a meal outside when it is not to hot. We loved the condo, especially the shower which was great to rinse off after a day at the pool or the beach. Overall, a great place to stay when looking for a beach vacation. Bonus, you get to park in the shade in an assigned parking spot!

Even better than photos!

This property is lovely. Check in/out was very simple and easy. Kurt, the property manager, was resposive and helpful. The condo itself is quite clean. We take our shoes off at home and do the same when we use a vacation rental. Even the floors in this unit are very clean, which is unusual. We were impressed by the cleanliness since it's very important to us. We have often spent our first couple hours of vacation cleaning. It was unneeded in this beautiful rental. It was just two of us so we only used one bedroom but we did use both bathrooms. The unit is very spacious and would easily hold more people and is well appointed with supplies for your stay. The somerset itself is very well kept and has pretty grounds. Of course one cannot say enough about the amazing beach. It's not our thing but we saw many people gathering gorgeous shells. The location is easy walking distance to great restaurants. Our favorites are probably Marco Prime and Fin Bistro. We don't have a single negative thing to say about this condominium. We would return without hesitation.

Beautiful condo and location!

We had a fantastic stay in Marco Island. This condo is quite large with a separate seating area for the guest room. We did not need the murphy bed but it is nice for additional guests when needed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful sunsets!

Nice Christmas week away

Property is as depicted. The highlight is the west facing balcony directly overlooking the beach and ocean. The beach is wide and gorgeous. Dolphins spotted playing almost every day! The kitchen was well stocked, and the Murphy bed was a comfortable solution to the extra bed needed to accommodate a fifth guest. Plenty of towels and blankets. The location is good, near the south end of the island- pretty quiet but still convenient. Great to have pickleball courts available to play. The cleanliness of the unit was average. We made use of the available cleaning supplies like vacuum and broom every couple days. Most supplies were provided with the exception of shampoo and body wash- just an fyi for future guests. Easy check in and check out, would stay again. Thank you!

We purchased this property because the Somerset is the largest size weekly rental units on the island and the only weekly rental units with washer and dryers in the unit. It is a quiet, peaceful and relaxing environment in a well maintained building. The west view is fantastic and the sunsets change nightly. Hard to beat the weather from November through May. The sound of the surf is soothing. Forget the car...take the elevator to the beach! Marco Island is like going to Hawaii without the long plane ride.
