Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Lanier from this five bedroom, three bathroom luxury cabin situated on a peaceful and secluded lot in North Georgia. This three level cabin features 26 foot floor to ceiling windows, luxurious master suite, hardwood floors, three fireplaces, two large decks overlooking the lake, gourmet kitchen, open floor plan, hot tub, pool table, gentle slope to water, and deep-water dock in a quiet cove.

A favorite aspect of the house is the large outdoor screened living area off the kitchen which includes comfortable seating, hanging swing chair, fireplace, large screen TV, 10-person dining -- perched high in the trees with a beautiful view of the lake! And everyone loves the enclosed outdoor shower with a view of the lake.

This is the perfect spot to enjoy the lake and spend time with family and friends. The spacious cabin (sleeps 16) also makes a great location for corporate retreats and group outings. Bring your boat (or rent one nearby) and water toys during the spring and summer months. Relax and enjoy the changing leaves, autumn festivals, and holiday gatherings in the fall and winter.

The cabin is located 50 minutes north of downtown Atlanta off of GA 400. It is situated on Thompson Creek in the northwest corner of the lake away from all the rough water and crowds. There is convenient access to public boat ramps and a marina with fuel. The cabin is just 10 minutes from the historic town of Dahlonega with its quaint restaurants and shops. Also enjoy nearby golf, Amicalola Falls, pumpkin farms, North Georgia Premium Outlets, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and the best hiking and biking that North Georgia has to offer.

We enjoyed the large family space and screen porch on the main floor. Bedrooms were nice and baths clean. We liked all the choices for pots and pans as we are cooking family.One drawback was we had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent.

Everyone loved the cabin. It was perfect for our family. The cabin gave everyone their space if wanted but also areas where we could all be together also. The owner is fantastic!! We had a question late one night, and he answered almost immediately which pleasantly amazed me. The cabin is even better in person than on Vrbo!

Our family gathered for a long weekend reunion of adult children, grandchildren, and grandparent at Dan's lake house, and it was a wonderful time. Everything was just as described. Dan responded right away to two questions we had, and we felt at home immediately.We loved the setting...by the water, surrounded by lovely fall trees, and feeling quite private.There was so much gathering space, both indoor and outdoor, for games, meals, and just relaxing. Our favorite place to be was the spacious screened porch with comfy furniture, a huge game table, and a big wood fireplace. An equally enormous table seated all of us for dinners, and the living room fireplace was perfect on a cold night.We also had great fun in the large lower level family room playing games and ping pong.There wasn't time to take advantage of the inviting hot tub or the conveniently placed firepit outdoors, but we spent lots of time at the dock fishing and canoeing. Dan's lake house was perfect for our family, and we would love to return.

Highly recommend. Venue perfectly accommodated our family and friends throughout our week of stay. House is close to major grocery, coffee shops, and outlet shopping. A small convenience store and gas station is even closer. Host was kind and extremely responsive. The deer and birds were also a nice touch.

House, location and communication with Dan were all ten star. Very nicely equipped and maintained. Furnishings and kitchen accessories worked well for all. Nicely done Dan!

The place was awesome. Very comfortable for our group. Dock and lake a lot of fun - walk to the dock a great workout for all! Kitchen was well equipped - had everything we needed. Extra refrigerator in the basement helped with keeping large group outfitted with cold drinks! Lots of places to gather to eat, hang out and talk! Hanging chair was a big hit with teens. Owner/host was really helpful answering questions. We would/will go back!

The Schock Family Reunion

A great time with my brothers and wives. The rental was very good with plenty of room. Lovely deck, views of the lake were great. Adequate kitchen and supplies for the 8 of us. We really enjoyed the screened in porch for our dinners. Very close to other amenities. Good Hot tub. Extras with the lake dock and canoe. Really fun time. We would recommend to friends.

We loved our stay! The layout of the home was fantastic. We traveled with our teen kids and they had their own floor, while the adults had our space. The main level had enough seating for everyone. We spent a lot of quality time around the dining table. The water activities were great- the kids enjoyed the canoe and the paddle board! We loved that there were life jackets and amply seating up on the dock as well.The house had everything we needed! Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Family Christmas trip

'Forty something' married, professional couple in the Atlanta area. 4 kids and a large extended family. We grew up on the water - lakes, rivers, and ocean. Love the outdoors, nature, family, adventure, and watersports.

My wife and I both grew up on near the water, and we want to share that experience with our kids and extended family. We love Lake Lanier -- what a beautiful lake!! In particular, we really love the northwest part of the lake since it is farther away from the crowds and rough water. Also, it's closer to the foothills of the North Georgia mountains and all of the wonderful things that area has to offer.

For several years, we tried to find a nice, big rental house on Lake Lanier for gatherings with extended family. Unfortunately, we were always disappointed with what was available for rent. Often, the houses were old and rundown with few amenities, and the owners were not very accommodating or customer-service oriented.

So realizing that there must be other families out there like ours, we decided to build a house from the ground up specifically catering to the high-end market for larger groups. Our house is one of the largest rental houses available on the lake, and we're sure that you'll agree that our amenities and location can't be beat!!
