MoonShadow Lakeview Cabin is a stunning three-story luxury cabin with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Nantahala through the floor to ceiling glass window wall on the main level.

Offering three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this spacious cabin includes two master bedrooms and two large living areas on separate levels. The main level includes a fully equipped chefā€™s dream kitchen with high end appliances and granite countertops. Enjoy time spent in the spacious living area with a breath-taking stone fireplace plus family sized dining table and chairs. The main floor also includes the third bedroom with 2- twin beds and full bath plus laundry room.

The third story loft is the location of one of the two master bedrooms with a private deck and full bath with soaking tub. The second master bedroom is located on the lower level with a full bath. Plus, a secondary living area with gas fireplace, bar and wrap around deck complete the lower level of this incredible cabin.

Enjoy your time at MoonShadow by gathering around either of the two fireplaces or making cocktails at the bar downstairs! Spend your mornings waking up to beautiful views of the lake from the two-story wrap-around decks. My second stay at Moonshadow. Check in was a breeze. Love the new gate and new hot tub. Weather was perfect and colors on the trees made the view spectacular. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful cabin and location that exceeded our expectations!!! The setting on Nantahala Lake is gorgeous. The cabin is pristine and the extra touches such as snacks and toiletries were an unexpected delight!!! We would love to stay again!!!!!

Another amazing stay!

Such an amazing place to visit year after year. We had the best time in the mountains. The lake view is breathtaking and the mountain air is so refreshing. The cabin is a great base to do any an all activities that you would like to. We come back year after year to this little piece of heaven. Thanks again for the great memories!

The lodge was great. Nantahala lake is amazing, clean, warm, beautiful and not crowded. Lodge was a bit dated, but not a huge deal. Far from stuff.

Amazing views and perfect stay

We rented this last minute as an alternative to being evacuated from tropical storm Debby. Iā€™m so glad we did! The views are magical, and the whole experience was first class. From the complimentary snack basket welcoming us to the cabin to the relaxing hot tub, this is a wonderful space. Highly recommend and canā€™t wait to come back!

Wow, what an awesome time we had at Moon Shadow! Everything you need for a relaxing and quite time with gorgeous views is there! It was just my wife and I staying at the house and the peace and serenity we had was soul refreshing! We will be back often!

Very Relaxing

We all had so much fun. The cabin has an amazing view! The pictures on the listing are great but donā€™t do it justice. It felt like home way from home. The host was quick to respond with any questions we had and check in and check out was so simple. This is one of the best family vacations we have had and we look forward to another stay here!

Immaculate cabin with beautiful decor and furniture. My family had a wonderful time! Thank your for allowing pets. Beds were super comfortable, tons of pillows and space to enjoys the mountain view. Felt very cared for during the stay. Thank you for the great family memories - truly priceless. To quote our 6yr old " 10 out of a 10".

Mountain Perfection

We stayed in this beautiful home for 7 days and everyday the views from the decks became more stunnung as the leaves started changing colors. It rained a couple days which was a perfect excuse to stay in and enjoy the house. Great area to site see and waterfall hike. Kichen is stocked with everything you could want. Comfortable beds and pillows. The best VRBO rental weve ever rented. .cant wait to come back.

Another amazing week

This was our third visit and we had an amazing experience at this beautiful property. the owner always goes the extra mile to accommodate us. The frigid weather created some challenges beyond anyones control but the response and assistance from owner was above and beyond. We are already booked for two kore visits in 2023.

Overall we had a good experience. Only and probably the main problem we really had was cleanliness. Downstairs bedroom was full of dog hair, dirty linens (not washed) dust and dog hair on the floor. We had to laundry the linens and towels. Stunning views to the lake and mountains.

What an absolutely amazing property!! I will say as Floridians the almost mile hike up the road/driveway gave me butterflies, however, it was completely worth it! Once we arrived we didnā€™t want to leave, the house is gorgeous and had a wonderful welcoming flow, the outdoor spaces were amazing, even my little ones were excited to pick different places to eat, or draw or play and the views were stunning. The only slight let down was no wood supply. While they do give you two bundles for a week stay thatā€™s nowhere near enough. Most mountain vacation rentals weā€™ve stayed in have a huge supply, but the woods were all around so we made due We would highly recommend.

Amazing House & Location

The photos of this place are nice, but the reality is even better! We visited in November, so without the leaves on the trees, the views were even more spectacular. I'm sure they're still great in the summer, they have the sightline to the lake opened up. The deck and large windows face south, so wonderful sun all day long. Very private and quiet. Very clean and well taken care of. They even had automated outdoor Christmas lights and a tree decorated in the living room to enhance the holiday atmosphere. Excellent location with many outdoor activities close by. Not a single complaint! A little pricey, but worth it! No cell reception and the internet is quite slow, but we we're there to unplug anyway. A great vacation made even better by a great rental.

Secluded Cabin with Breathtaking Views of Nantahala Lake

This dog friendly cabin is very clean with nice amenities and amazing views. Definitely recommend 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive to access the cabin as it is a steep gravel driveway. The management company was very responsive when we had an issue with the heat, which was fixed promptly. Great for honeymoon or couples getaway.

Nantahala Paradise

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. This is a wonderful cabin, and the view is perfect. Everything was clean and just as pictured. The only thing we needed was a bigger skillet to fry bacon in. Highly recommend the drive up to Wayah Bald a short distance away, and renting a pontoon one day. The marina had fair prices, and really nice boats with a great staff. As stated....it is in a secluded area which is exactly what we were looking for so don't forget to stop got groceries before getting there.

Amazing Cabin!

Beautiful cabin with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Secluded and quiet location! All the comforts of home! The manager of the property was very polite, helpful, and communication was fast. The cabin was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! Would highly reccomend to friends and family and will hopefully return again in the future!
