The Bitchin' Beach house is a very colorful, vibrant beach bungalow! It took a lot of work and heart to create this amazing environment. If you are looking for a unique experience, where your vacation home is not just a bed for the night, you have come to the right place! This house is truly a vacation in itself. Decorated and owned by professional Interior Designers/Decorators, this Caribbean-Inspired Getaway is unlike any other home. Filled with one-of-a-kind stained glass (including beautifully carved stained glass bedroom doors, dual masters - one we call the 'Captain's Room' featuring a queen bed, hanging chair hammock and a clawfoot bathtub perched on a pedestal and the other 'The Bamboo Room' has furniture taken straight from a villa in Mexico including a rocking chair and double bed handmade from bamboo.

Our 800 sq ft wraparound cobblestone porch overlooks our beautiful peaceful street and expands our bungalow into an outdoor environment, with its dining table for 12 made from 100+ yr old barn wood. Close our outdoor curtains for even more privacy as you lounge on the hanging bed and take in the scent of the fresh flowers along the perimeter of the veranda. Ahhh...

(Quick note about Parking & Smart Doorbell:
Parking - The BBH is a 1950s beach bungalow with street parking. Due to the California stay-at-home restrictions, parking has become much trickier recently, especially at night and on weekends. Recent guests had to park a few blocks away when they came home at night. The price is lower than normal due to the inconvenience. The Bitchin’ Beach House is truly adorable but we wanted to make sure you are aware of the issue prior to booking. If you’ve never been to beautiful Dana point, walking and biking around town can be really fun!

New Smart Doorbell - For security, we have a Ring Video Doorbell on the outside of the front door (which faces the front entrance side patio).)

A Perfect Spot!

The cottage was adorable. A sweet little bungalow nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. It’s a funky little spot with great vibes. We are a family of 4 and we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely. The hosts were responsive and everything was easy and clean.

Delightful

Such a sweet spot! Really loved the aesthetic touches throughout the house. Appreciated the extra communication with the owner and immediate response when smoke alarms went off. Would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend.

Great Place to Stay in Dana Point

We spent 6 nights at the BBH in Dana Point, and were lucky enough to find this gem during the week of the 4th of July. From the time that we booked the house, the owners were very responsive and welcoming. The home was bright, thoughtfully decorated, and comfortable for our family of 3. We spent evenings in the outdoor seating areas and cooked several meals in the kitchen. It was especially convenient to be able to do a load of laundry. The neighborhood was quiet and located within walking distance to a grocery store and shops. It was a truly unique home that we looked forward to coming back to each day. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Killer Brocation Spot

My friends and I attended a wine charity event in Dana Point and SJC and I chose the Bitchin' Beach House as our base. Such a good call. This place is truly unique and was very cool to spend a couple nights in. It's rootsy style and feel, coupled with its perfect location made our excursion memorable! Highly recommended!

A very quaint So Cal experience!

My family and I, including our two boys 9 & 11, loved our time staying here. My sons literally fought over who got to sleep outside on the hanging porch bed! Home worked great for us and the patio is a true gem. Parking can be tricky on certain days or if you get back late but be patient and you will find an open street spot. Worst I had was parking one block over. Alyssa was great in providing suggestions for eating experiences around Dana Point. House is close to several walkable restaurants. There are close grocery stores and a Costco nearby as well. Enjoy.

Lovely getaway spot

Overall the house was very nice. Couple things that would’ve helped would’ve been some dish towels and face cloths for the shower and some saran wrap or aluminum foil besides that we enjoyed everything

Pleasant and fun beach house. Very quiet neighborhood. Felt like beach house I had in Oceanside back in the 70's so it felt like home to me. A great place to relax and forget about everything.

The Bitchin' Beach House gains another happy friend

My wife and I and two visiting friends from Italy just stayed five nights at the Bitchin' Beach House. It is a great location and we loved the eclectic look. We had nine additional family members and friends over for a Mexican meal on the front patio, and there was plenty of room. The house was very comfortable and quiet. As stated in the VRBO description, parking can be a problem but not unsolvable.

We absolutely loved this air b n b!! The owners were fabulous and gave us all the information we needed to check in for our stay. The house is so gorgeous! Amazing atmosphere the place was so clean and we adored the porch swing and the neighborhood in general. We highly recommend this place! Fun and great location

So cute and super great location. It’s a short walk to most places. It’s so lovely, so why not enjoy the stroll. The porch was amazing to sit and enjoy coffee and answer emails. Will definitely try to come back.

Lovely Stay

The house is small but charming. We loved the outside area when we had meals in. The house was very clean and well stocked. The master bed was comfortable, albeit hard to get into if you are sleeping by the wall. We were a short walk from town and enjoyed going to Bonjours for breakfast and Coastal Kitchen for dinner. We drove 3 minutes to get to the beautiful beach. The owners were a pleasure to deal with.

A great little bohemian house nestled in a Dana Point neighborhood!

We came to stay with our 9 year old after 3 days at Disney. It was the perfect way to wind down afterwards. We love the location as it is centrally located between Laguna and San Clemente. Great beaches, weather and food!

My husband and I stayed with our 4 children and absolutely loved this home!

The home was absolutely amazing. Definitely the coolest place we have ever stayed! Centrally located for our visits to other beach towns, a Padres game in San Diego and whale watching! We had a fabulous time. The host was very kind and quick with responses to our questions. Highly recommend!

bright and cozy

We had a great stay at The Bitch'n Beach House. It was comfortable with a fun and free spirited flair. The bungalow is in a great location and only minutes from the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. We are a family of five so one of us slept outside on the outdoor bed/hammock which was another fun adventure.

The Bitchin' Beach House is our first project of many. It is a home, a getaway, a vacation rental, a retreat... an oasis!

Our goal is to own and design properties all over the world. We want our places to be about creating a lifestyle; everyone should be able to enjoy extraordinary environments, for themselves or with their favorite people.

The Bitchin' Beach House was a rundown, cramped, depressing house and we turned it into a Caribbean-inspired getaway with room to entertain! We put our all into creating a place worth bringing people together, from the decorative pillows, right down to the studs.

In simple terms, we are very driven and passionate about taking full advantage of the senses! We love to create beautiful inspiring environments, visually, musically, scent, taste, etc... everything can, and should be, made enjoyable.

It has almost 'seven miles of coastal bluffs and rolling hills along the Pacific Ocean with its charming beaches and wild surfs. Most noteworthy of these bluffs is a unique promontory known as the “Headlands”, which overlooks Dana Point Harbor, one of the most significant manmade alterations of the Orange County coastline.' (Quote taken from the City of Dana Point). For me personally, it was the fact that it has everything... it is within a mile of the greatest beaches in California, walking distance to the store and cute shops, it's a ten minute drive to Newport, Laguna and San Clemente. There are plenty of things to do no matter what your taste or mood. Great happy-hours, sunsets and relaxing days on the beach are endless. Who wouldn't want the quintessential Southern California Beach living experience?
