Newly Renovated Mid-century - Walk to Harbor/Doheny!

My home is a beautiful mid-century modern bungalow (about 900 sq. ft) that has just been renovated with all new furniture, interior paint, etc., foam roof with great insulation, motorized awning, laminate wood floors throughout, quartz countertops, marble dining table, Elfa closets, and travertine bathroom. It is super clean and the third room looks out onto a lush garden. AC has been added, and dogs are welcome for a fee ($300/dog). The property is fronted with floor to ceiling windows, a wonderful balcony and a huge garage. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, a picnic basket and a wagon for transporting everything is available in the home.

The bungalow is located at the quiet residential end of La Cresta (near St. Edwards Church) in the rejuvenated Lantern Village - surrounded by single family homes rather than multifamily rental units.

Partying at this property will not be permitted. And NO SMOKING OF ANY SUBSTANCE is allowed on the premises.

Great Stay

Nestled into the hilltop above the harbour in Dana Point this 3 bedroom seaside cottage is a charmer! Well situated for short trips south to San Clemente, Oceanside, or Carlsbad and north to Laguna and Newport. Lovely furnishings, beautiful finishes, and well appointed with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay.The bedding was a dream! I sunk into comfort with crisp sheets and darling quilts.Deanna our host was very responsive and welcoming throughout entire the process. We couldn’t have been more pleased!

Beautiful, convenient to Beach and spotlessly clean

Terrific location in Dana Point up the hill from Doheny State Beach. Very clean, well stocked with all the essentials and an excellent host. We enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

Our stay Deanna's home was wonderful! The location was close to town and the suggestions she gave for places to eat were very good. Her home was very comfortable and plenty of room for the 3 of us that stayed there. I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing Place, From Location to Layout

This is the perfect beach community home, located near everything and immaculately maintained with every amenity you need. Excellent home for a couple or small family getaway. The host is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet, just as it should be.

Very nice home in beautiful Dana Point neighborhood

This is a nicely remodeled home that is close to everything in Dana Point. We had that unusual rain during my visit so we did some cooking and found the kitchen well equipped. Comfortable and quiet and we had a very nice stay

Great Home

Beautifully remodeled mid-century home. Fully equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location is close to beaches and the Dana Point Lantern District with many great restaurants and shopping.

Dana Point House

We loved this house, great location, very clean, and the bedding was wonderful. Updated cute “cottage” very close to shops, restaurants, the beach and harbor. Quiet neighborhood. Host was very thoughtful and quick to respond. Would stay there again.

Exactly What We Hoped For

Deanna was a wonderful attentive host without helicoptering. The place is better than listed and location is very quiet and chill. Would recommend it to anyone, thank you Deanna!

A perfect long weekend in Dana Point

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Deanna's home in Dana Point. We were in town for our nephew's graduation and it was exactly what we were looking for. The location was great and the amenities spot on. We were within easy walking distance of both the town/seaside and our relatives that live right up the road. They too were very impressed with the property and will suggest this to others when they come to visit. Thank you!

Well-appointed Neighborhood House

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood and is walkable to nearby restaurants. All three bedrooms are sizable with plenty of space for belongings. Beds are comfortable. And the house is filled with high-end, thoughtful touches, along with two nice outdoor sitting areas. The host is attentive and responsive and we had everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Perfect little cottage

Great location in Dana Point and surrounding areas. As advertised and great owner. Comfortable beds and furniture. Well equipped kitchen and garage. Be prepared for only one bathroom but it is very spacious. Nice quiet neighborhood. A/C was nice to have as most home do not. We would return again.

Great house

We enjoyed our stay at Dana point, lantern village is a cute neighborhood, very quiet. We did not spend a lot of time at Dana point we went to nearby towns like San Clemente as the beaches and town were nicer. House is very clean and had everything needed. Could do with fans in the bedrooms as it would get quite hot in the rooms due to low ceilings. But otherwise very clean and nice.

Dana Point Christmas

We enjoyed our stay in Deanna’s home so very much. The house was immaculate and decorated very nicely. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook and dine including double ovens and an amazing cook top. The view from the living area is beautiful. The power awning is wonderful to shade the room during the day. We loved that the home was completely gated in, with a nice patio area in the back. And last, but not least, the home is in a very walkable neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful homes and so close to the beach and restaurants, it makes for the perfect vacation!!

Such A Lovely Coastal Home

I'm so glad we booked this property for our family beach vacation. This well appointed home has lots of extra touches to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable. The owner has put ton of effort in to maintaining this home. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and linens as we all needed to rest up from our busy lives. The quiet community ensured restful nights which we appreciated. While our cooking was simple, the kitchen is well appointed if you like to cook fancy. Lots of things to see and do in the area. On this visit we spent a midweek day at Crystal Cove State Park on an isolated stretch of beach and it was divine, and we checked out the cute shops in Laguna Beach. Lots of restaurants to meet every budget requirement. Supermarket and Costco are nearby.

4th of July - Amazing!

My family recently stayed here and everyone can't say enough about what an amazing home! We had 5 adults that were more than comfortable staying at this location. The owner was incredibly responsive and eager to assist on all of our needs. The home is located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood near the restaurants and shops as well as the many amazing beaches. The home is spacious, wonderfully decorated and clean. It has everything you need to cook family meals, hang out; even has a beautiful deck with an awning. You can even see the Dana Point Fire works right from the living room with huge windows!...what a view! We were able to spend all of the 4th of July weekend exploring Dana Point Marina, the local hiking trails and the beaches! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in the heart of Dana Point. I plan on staying here again very soon and can't thank the owner enough for their hospitality and opening this beautiful home to our family.

Nice cozy place

First of all, I have to say that this home rental was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cozy atmosphere of the house was warm and welcoming, and it had all the amenities we could possibly need during our stay. The location of the home rental was perfect for our needs. Being so close to Disneyland (~30-40 mins) was fantastic, as it allowed us to easily visit the park multiple times during our stay. We also enjoyed the proximity to the many beaches, which were just a short drive away (Salt Creek was our favorite) . This made it easy for us to take advantage of the beautiful weather and spend some time relaxing on the sand. We also liked that you could walk to a some restaurants - we loved Carmelita's and aPizza Doho, both casual family friendly spots. The home itself was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. It was a bit cozy for our family of five, but we liked that for a change. The communication with the owner was excellent, and they were always available to answer any questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this home rental and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and comfortable place to stay near Disneyland and the beaches.

Clean, cozy, comfortable

Deanna's home is super clean, cozy, and very comfortable. You get a great vibe as soon as you enter, with lots of light coming in through the windows and little artistic touches that shows how much she cares about the property. Deanna was very responsive to questions, and even suggested a new Mexican restaurant that was too new to be on her list of recommendations. My son and I tried it out, and it was fantastic. Best of all, it was within walking distance, as was the breakfast place (Stacks) we frequented. The walk back up to the house is up hill, but it helped burn off our meals! Plus, the walk up from the main road gives you a chance to admire all the nice homes along the route - such pretty scenery! The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were high quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The street is so quiet at night, it was like we were in a cabin in the woods - couldn't hear a sound! I also walked to the beach at sunrise, which was great. But if you plan to bring chairs or anything else, I'd take the car. There's a wagon in the garage if you'd like to walk anyway, but I knew we'd be heading out for something to eat directly from the beach. It's a very nice property, and well cared for. Thanks Deanna!

Wonderful Birthday getaway

Spent a week at Deanna’s cute little place with my family of 4. Check in/ out was easy. We enjoyed the nice ocean breeze and the adorable little front and back patio every afternoon/ evening. My only critique is that the outlets in the master bedroom do not accommodate the 3 prong plug, other than that it was perfect! Thank you Deanna for your adorable place. We hope to rent it again in the future!

Perfection!

This beautiful home has it all...comfort, convenience and it is super clean! The home is meticulously maintained and is light, bright and airy. My husband and I had an amazing time here and loved walking to the beach, harbor, parks, coffee in the morning and great restaurants at night. We were still discovering more places to visit the night before we left. We loved how convenient it was to visit Laguna Beach, Balboa Island, San Clemente and Carlsbad. Deanna was so easy and pleasant to communicate with.
