Sleeps 4 comfortably — the Master suite features a King-sized bed and private bathroom with a jetted Jacuzzi tub, large walk-in shower and double sinks. The Guest Bedroom also has a King-sized bed and has an adjacent oversize bath with a tile shower. Both bedrooms have private entrances to the balcony, and large windows to enjoy the beautiful views.

This is our 3rd time staying at Silver Shells. We have never had a bad experience. Having beach chairs in the condo would have been a plus. Overall, a wonderful stay.

First time in Destin

The condo was clean. Would have been nice to have had beach towels provided. The resort was very nice, beautiful amenities. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to, but enjoyed the Back Porch restaurant.

Great location and beautiful resort but condo lacking a few thing

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo overall was nice. I would suggest having more items to cook with. We had no skillet . Had to use a saucepan just to make eggs and ect. Would like more utensils. Spatula was so flimsy to cook with. I would suggest having key fobs separate from the bracelets. You can’t swim with key fobs and when we took bracelets off lifeguard would ask if we were staying there. When I had questions beforehand we checked in none ever responded back to me so I had to guess if anyone saw my questions. The rooms get really warm even with air on. We brought a fan with us for one bedroom but the other room was very hot. The living space was comfortable. I would suggest cleaning out dryer vent. Takes very long to dry clothes. The resort is wonderful. The pool was heated and very close to the beach. The condo was decorated nice . I would suggest this condo. Just a few minor upgrades would make this condo even better.

Great Overall Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was sufficient for our small family. We liked that this unit had 2 king size beds and that is the main reason we selected this unit over other units that had twin beds or bunk beds. We also liked the parking situation- we were very close to the elevators. This unit was smoke free and pet free, which was also very important to us. We also appreciated the presence of a laundry room in this unit so we could pack lighter and come home with clean towels and clothes. Some needs- this unit could use a deep cleaning. The baseboards/ edges of the room are brown and dusty. The master bathroom toilet light did not work. The master bathroom shower did not drain properly- so you are standing in 3 inches of water while you shower.

Great stay at St Lucia

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at St. Lucia last week. Our rooms were clean and found everything we needed. The only thing we had trouble with was the master bath door handle needs to be adjusted, wouldn’t open easily. Once my husband could not get it to open from outside , glad I was inside the bathroom and opened it. Will refer friends and plan on returning.

not too happy

don't think I will not be using vrbo again. Your cleaning/damage waiver charges are ridiculous! I have been using vrbo for years & have seen the charges go up drastically every year. Also no communication from the property owners on this trip & will never rent a property from Destiny Beach Property's, ever. Will look at other avenues in the future for our needs.

Don’t expect anyone to call or answer messages.

It’s a great spot. Right by the back porch and many walkable activities. The main frustration was only having one fob for everyone in the group and no way to reach anyone to get another one. If some people want beach and the others want pool, good luck. Compass resorts has an onsite office with people that are there to help you with anything you need. If you book through them, they are very helpful. We have done that before and will do that from now on. Worth the difference in cost.

Anniversary

It was relaxing and a wonderful stay. The amount of fobs and bands available were not correct.we let management know. Aaron offered to deliver more on Wed but our stay was over Thur told him not to bother. If we had more in our party that would have been a problem.

Fourth of July at Silver Shells

The property itself was great, which is not surprising! We have stayed at Silver Shells several times so we knew we were getting a great condo. Make sure to take note that the property does specifically state that they condo will not be ready early. We were in the hallway waiting to get in, and the code is indeed inactive until right at 4:00 pm. I never received any communication back from the owner when I reached out which I don't like. That could improve GREATLY.

Great stay

Place had all the kitchen accessories Keurig coffee maker was fabulous.Living room furniture super comfy Master and other room had king beds. Not far from pool or beach. Over all great stay!

Summer vacation

Property is in a great location. Very safe and secure. Beds were comfortable. Showers and kitchen clean. Overall I would give a four and a half if possible as fixtures , trim area and fans could use a good cleaning and update. I would definitely go again and stay here. Easy check in process as well.

Silver Shells Complex is Great!St. Lucia 302 is a very nice unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Silver Shells is a great complex and a great location. This building has its own small pool and hot tub. The complex itself has a central, large pool. Lovely furniture. Great location, whereby you can see a sliver of ocean between two buildings from viewing off the patio. Easy walk to the building pool/hot tub, main pool and beach. Primary bedroom bed was way too soft for us. TP is low quality. Bring your own. They offered a cute plastic bucket with two waters, some snacks, and pamphlets for things to do around. The place seemed cleaned, except the tub jacuzzi tubing needed to be cleaned out. Note: cleaners come EXACTLY at 10AM and there is no leeway, even when asking in advance, with no one staying after. Suggestion: When no one is checking in for a day or more, it's reasonable and a really great thing to offer guests a late check out. It's an extra touch I highly suggest and costs nothing and would be very much appreciated! There are chair and umbrella rentals available at the beach or bring your own chairs (We were told umbrellas are not allowed, unless rented.). Two dishwasher pods, trash bags, and detergent for one load of laundry are available. Nice touch. I would suggest adding extras, depending on how long guests are staying. I would also suggest offering higher quality TP. For this location, it doesn't match expectations. And I would offer one extra TP for each bathroom for those staying at least 4 days or longer. Cute little shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were also provided. If you drink coffee, remember to bring/buy some. OVERALL, this is an excellent unit and we would ABSOLUTELY stay again!
