Surf Song #121 - A Great opportunity to rent a beachfront property in popular Surf Song Resort in Madeira Beach! This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo provides views, prime location, and everything you need to enjoy your stay at this sought after vacation resort. Free Wifi. Please note there is no phone in this condo. You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Upon entering, you will notice a nicely furnished spacious living area, complete with picture window overlooking beach. The open living space includes a bright and airy updated kitchen, with granite countertops, and newer kitchen appliances. A table that seats up to four is the perfect place to play games, enjoy a nice dinner or relax after a day at the beach. As with every SunHost property, the kitchen is stocked with utensils.

The peaceful master bedroom offers a king sized bed, attached bathroom and television, offering privacy. Just off the kitchen is the second guest room, with two twin sized beds. This is a highly popular rental for families due to it's nice layout, and desirable location at Surf Song Resort. The heated swimming pool and BBQ facilities are all within walking distance as well. Linen for all beds, extra pillows sufficient towels for your stay are always provided.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. Just a short walk away is popular John's Pass Village. Located directly across the street, The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. It's 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Back and better than ever

Construction was going on which was expected being only 7 months from the devastation from hurricanes. Though I wish the construction was a little later in the day so we could sleep in a bit longer. Beach is literally your front yard and is maintained wonderfully. Things are looking up for the area and John's Pass is right across the street and coming back strong. Thank you for having us. We will come again in November.

We were forced inland until we would hear from the office. There were no notifications other than what we saw on TV. I am still waiting to secure my reservation for next year although the dates have been blocked.

We love unit 121 - it is so convenient to the pool and beach and we love the small feel and not having to deal with a lot of people or elevators like you do in a high rise condo. Our a/c stopped working our 2nd day there and it was fixed as soon as we told the rental office.

Everything was just as we remembered it; clean, comfy, and convenient! Being literal steps from the sand and pool, it is a great condo to stay in with kids. We have already booked it for the same week next year.

getting better

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property has had many changes in management which has taken a toll on the upkeep of the property. We did see some improvement in the upkeep of the common area. Some units are dated for the prices they are charging. They discontinued cleaning rooms in extended stays which again for what they are charging is not acceptable. The pool should be cleaned and sanitized every day for the number of that swim in it daily approx 30-40 a day. The pool gets cloudy and sand builds up if it isn't cleaned daily. Although signs are posted people still break the no smoking rules and number of people allowed in the rooms. But there is no one place to complain to as the management company is not accessible. I pay $4500 for a 2 week stay.

We had a great time. The beach was beautiful, the location was great. Just a walk across the street to Johns pass. The pool Was nice. i have one recommendation I would replace the living room Furniture. It was not comfortable at all. Other that than the condo was very cute and clean.

New Property Management Lead To Our 1st Bad Experience

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 15th year coming to Surf Song could be our last. The new property management group are not doing a good job taking care of the grounds and especially not the pool. Our last five days there we did not use the pool because it was green and algae was growing in it. After notifying the property group we were told first someone would take a look at the pool in three days. When we called the management office we were hung up on. Nothing got resolved until the fifth day when the shocked the pool so no one could go in it for a sixth day. This group cannot hold a candle to Sun Host Property Group!

Times are changing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room is awesome. We have been staying at this location in this same room for almost 30 years and it does not disappoint. However the property maintenance and pool maintenance leave much to be desired. A change in property Management has brought about a transition period which has led to the cleanliness not being up to par with the past years. Hopefully things will get better as everyone settles in. Booked again for next year as to not disrupt our family tradition. Please note the review Stars left below only apply to the room and it's amenities not the property or property maintenance.

Unit was clean and well equipped. Pool was sparkling and spotless. John’s Pass is directly across the street and we enjoyed live music and good food(and ice cream!) every night. Will definitely stay at this location again. 5 stars!!

The twin beds in the spare room were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Shower curtain had mold, smoke alarm went off every time the oven was turned on,and you have to back up against the counter to open the fridge door. Property was nice but again the price was higher then the high rise condo next door.

Also in walking to distance to restaurant and John’s Pass. Our only complaint was the beds were very uncomfortable and the living room furniture wasn’t much better. Other than that we loved everything about our unit #121 and the property.
