Welcome to Sandy Shore ! This sparkling clean home is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways, remote work stays, or travel professionals seeking for mid-term rentals more than 30 days.

Only a block and a half from the beach, you can see the ocean from the deck and from the second story of the house. This newly renovated (2023) two-story home is fully fenced, with enough room for your family to enjoy their island getaway, with all modern amenities including central A/C, high speed internet, WiFi with in-home office space, three flat screen smart 55 inches TVs, full size washer and dryer.

Two huge upstairs bedrooms can accommodate 8 guests with 2 king and 2 full size beds. A dedicate workspace with desk and office chair in each bedroom is ready for your remote work. A monitor, keyboard, and mouse will be provided upon request. Each upstairs bedroom has closet, dresser, and under bed drawers to store your belongings. There is a hidden drawer on each dresser to store your valuables out of sight. The downstairs bedroom can accommodate 4 guests with 2 twin bunk beds (2 adults on lower beds, and 2 children on upper beds).

The kitchen is equipped with cooking and dinnerware, new stainless steel appliances (microwave, side-by-side refrigerator, stove/oven with air fryer, dishwasher), Keurig coffee maker, instant pot, toaster, rice cooker, blender, tea kettle. Enjoying your morning coffee on the back porch or a wood deck that is furnished with seating, outdoor dining, and gas grill. View the ocean and Mardi Gras parade on Seawall from the upper deck. The front driveway has parking for up to three vehicles, plenty of street parking in front and on the side street, plus a big empty lot behind the house (43’ X 60’) can accommodate many trailers.

There are beach towels, beach wagon, umbrellas, portable chairs, beach toys, floats available for your convenience to enjoy full day at the beach.

Just a short walk or drive to all seawall attractions, including restaurants, shopping, fishing piers, bike and jet ski rentals, and Pleasure Pier. Less than a ten minute drive will get you to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens. The Strand Historic District offers walkable shopping, eateries, and bars. The island also offers many historic mansion tours and has several museums, The Bishop’s Palace, the Art Center, the Tall Ship Elissa, the Train Museum, the 1894 Opera House, the Mosquito Fleet, Fisherman's Wharf, deep-sea fishing charters. Two cruise terminals, Texas A & M University, and University of Texas Medical Branch are only 3 miles away.

This home is also suited for longer stays in the off season. Extended stays require 30+ nights, and are exempt from 15% hotel occupancy tax. Please inquire thru the host.

This house is set up fully for guest use with the exclusion of an owner's closet we keep for supplies.

There are security cameras actively recorded audio and video on the exterior of the home (none on the interior) for the protection of our guests and for monitoring when the home is vacant.

BEST LOCATION!!!
The place is so clean! The location is great. We were able to go everywhere with ease. The parking is very spacious. We had 4-5 cars parked in the driveway and street parking on the house’s property. You can easily fit 8 cars surrounding the house if you utilize the backyard, too!! The beds are comfortable and fit my group of 8 people. The place has plenty of towels, hair dryer, bath wash/shampoo/conditioner, plenty of kitchenware, and it is super spacious. It was walking distance to the beach which was a plus!!! Communication with Hannah was 10/10 since she answers immediately to every message that was sent! I would stay again!!!

Amazing!
We have been renting in Galveston for 10+ years several times a year, at many different locations. Sandy shores is our new vacation home! Hands down, our favorite place over all the years. You name it, we’ve experienced it. So we were so pleased with Hannah’s place. The location really can’t get any better, it’s just right behind the er, so a small walk to the beach. The driveway was a huge selling point for us, since we don’t like leaving our vehicles on the street. The home inside and out is beautiful. She has ALL the beach necessities you’ll need. We didn’t have to bring chairs, or even beach toys which was awesome. The balcony is beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night. The beds are firm and we loved that! Lol. Kitchen had lots of coffee pods to choose from and it worked great for us to cook ourselves. We also loved we could use Netflix and YouTube easily without having to log in ourselves. Since I can never remember my info. And it’s definitely not stingy on toilet paper! We always travel with all the family and we hate running out within a day, so it was nice not to have to worry about all those small things Hannah has thought of! So thank you again so much for allowing us to stay! We will most certainly be back.

I am only 30 minutes away from the property. I will be available in person during weekend and after 5pm weekdays if needed.
