Beachfront Luxury Penthouse at Paraiso Del Mar

Custom furnished in colorful Mexican fashion, our 3,000 SF penthouse condo has 3 BRs (2 with king size beds and 1 with 2 full size beds) and 3.5 baths. The floors throughout are travertine and all counters are granite. We upgraded doors, counters, and closet storage features in all rooms.

The spacious living room with a vaulted 18' ceiling has a spectacular view of the coastline by day and the lights of La Paz at night. The 900 SF terrace faces the east so you can spend the warmest part of the day pretty much in the shade. There is also a gas barbecue on the terrace, and a terrace with wet bar off the master bedroom.

Flat screen TVs in the living room and all bedrooms. Cable TV, WiFi, books, DVDs and games are available for your use.

Mothers Day at Paraiso del Mar

The place was amazing, clean bathrooms, bedrooms were great, living room kitchen and the fabulous balcony I will not forget. The pool, workers and everyone associated with the upkeep of the property was the reason we went to La Paz. VIVA MÉXICO

An Amazing Penthouse

We had an amazing time in PDM. The penthouse was just what we were looking for spaciousness, a large terrace, beautiful views, privacy, super comfortable, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and a great host who was available to answer any and all questions. I 100% recommend this penthouse and all of the amenities the penthouse and PDM has to offer. My family and I will be definitely be staying here again.

Large Beautiful Condo with the absolute best view!

We loved the Mexican furnishings and decor and the beautiful location of this beachfront penthouse with a view of the pool, the sea, the beach, and mountains in the background. The kitchen has everything you could possible need. All rooms are spacious. It has a big screen TV, free internet, and very comfortable beds with beautiful bedding. The patio and outdoor furniture are amazing. The staff at the pool bar and grill and everywhere on this property are very friendly. We are repeat visitors in this condo. We've only been home a week and are ready to return. You will love staying here.

Beautiful penthouse with outstanding views! Definitely recommend this location and unit. Would stay here again and again. Exterior could use some TLC, now that a new condo management company has taken over the little maintenance issues should be fixed up quickly.

Fantastic property

We stayed a week and absolutely loved the trip. This condo has fantastic views out of all of the rooms, and it had everything that we needed during our stay. The kitchen is well-appointed if you prefer to cook in and the living space is beautiful and comfortable. Access to La Paz is easy, and there are free bicycles to use while on the property, great for getting to the water taxi, the golf course or tennis / pickle ball courts.

Great place.

The condo is magnificently appointed. It is well furnished; we never were without something we needed. The grounds around the finished buildings are well manicured. There is a great sized swimming pool with an adjacent hot tub. It is easy to get to the beach where the water is very shallow and safe for kids. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and bicycles are free to use. The shuttle to La Paz is most convenient.

This was the nicest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Extremely spacious, with excellent views . Once you get the hang of the water taxi, easy access to town, but allows for quiet time back "home ". Super nice people. Would definitely return.

Beautiful location and luxury accommodations!!

We stayed for 9 days over Thanksgiving, and we would highly recommend Paraiso Del Mar and this particular condo for anyone looking for a great Baja vacation. Paraiso Del Mar is very private and beautifully maintained - it has the feel of a luxury resort without the crowds. The food at the restaurant is excellent, and the cooks and servers are all very friendly and willing to accommodate any special requests. Our only complaint is that shopping for groceries took some planning & effort, but otherwise we loved Paraiso Del Mar and plan to return! This particular condo is a penthouse unit and is HUGE! The rooms are all over-sized, each bedroom has its own large bathroom with walk-in shower, the patio runs the full length of the condo with 2 large areas for sitting and hanging out... the place is big and luxurious!! The owners were also very friendly and helpful! Everything was as described and shown in the pictures. For those looking for a quiet and private get-away with the feel of a resort, Paraiso Del Mar is the place!!

Our New Favorite Vacation Spot

We can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful casa in Paraiso with us. Our stay there was perfect, so comfortable and fun. We played tennis every morning and went to town or beyond every day exploring and eating, so perfectly tied together by your speedy golf cart. We must have said to each other 10 times every day how awesome this whole experience is - the peaceful vibe, the perfect weather, the sweet locals and this part of Mexico we never knew existed. We loved our 2 visits to Balandra beach, one reason we both prefer this over Maui. We're on the plane now almost to Tijuana and are looking through our many photos already missing it but looking forward. Some day we may be your neighbors there.

Paradise found......

This penthouse unit is no less than fabulous!! It exceeds all expectations. Its spacious layout is beautifully appointed, as the pictures accurately show, with handcarved furnishings and brightly colored walls and big screen tv. The large private patio welcomes a sunrise each morning and this serene setting overlooks the beautiful and calm Sea of Cortez. Beaches are pristine. Kyaks are seaside and readily available for a quick jaunt out to the many passing pods of dolphin. The large pool complex has a fun swimup bar; staff are welcoming and offer a variety of drinks, appetizers and dinner options. Owners are wonderfully kind and accommodating. This is a true paradise and great find....a perfect spot for rest and relaxation. Dont settle for a lower unit, this penthouse is well worth the reasonable price. Thank you for sharing your home...we will definitely be back!!!

Look no further...This is the penthouse you are looking for!

After searching the VRBO rentals, my wife and I chose this place to bring our children for a quick vacation. This luxury penthouse was absoultely wonderful. When, like a dummy, I locked my wife's purse (with all of our money) in the closet safe, the owners, Meg and Tom, were instantly available by phone to bail me out....WHEW! We loved La Paz, we loved Parisio Del Mar, and most importantly, we loved staying in this big clean penthouse watching the dolphins swim by. What a great family vacation....

Peaceful Paradise

Paraiso Del Mar is a gorgeous resort property --beautifully built, sublime views of town and sea, well maintained premises, quiet and well staffed. This condo is exceptional--with luxe furnishings, great views, privacy, and top notch amenities that make your stay easy and carefree. Everything, from linens to dishes, has been carefully selected to make your stay comfortable. The owners seemed to have thought of every detail. There is a private jacuzzi from which you can see the evening stars; indoor and outdoor dining areas with comfortable furniture; big screen TV and big, comfortable sofas, very comfortable mattresses, washing machine, games, music, movies. The activities, of course, are up to you--golf, water sports, walking, yoga, shopping. All very low key in La Paz.

best of the best - gorgeous penthouse in the exclusive, tranquil resort

el paraiso del mar is the loveliest place in la paz. and THIS penthouse unit is the best of the best. it has vaulted ceilings and gorgeous ocean views from every balcony and window. look out over the sea and islands during the day and across the little bay to the lights of downtown la paz during the night. it is newly and beautifully furnished, comfortable and luxurious with a very authentic feel. we loved the kitchen with fiesta colors and mexican crockery but also granite counters and wonderful appliances (i'm a cook) the bedrooms are great with fabulous linens. the owers are very sweet people - happy to please. the pool and grounds are perfect and the staff is extraordinary - attentive, competent and so friendly! if you are "water people" there is soooo much to do in the area; snorkling with juvenile sea lions, fishing, swimming with whale sharks, shelling, etc. and the staff can help you arrange any of it.

We chose Paraiso del Mar because of its location and the developers’ vision – not only in terms of the architectural plans, but also because of their impressive commitment to environmental and ecological sustainability. All potable water is provided by onsite desalinization -- and this is critical in this arid climate.

“La Paz” in Spanish means “peace.” How appropriate for this beautiful, peaceful city. It’s the capital of Baja California Sur, and its large local population enjoys one of the highest standards of living and quality of life in Mexico. These warm and friendly people in turn account for the numerous resources available to a visitor – great restaurants, shopping and activities. From the Malecon, the wide boardwalk along the beachfront, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Bay of the Sea of Cortez.

La Paz is protected from seasonal storms by the Sea of Cortez. As one of the most biodiverse bodies of water in the world, La Paz is home to the 3 leading marine biology institutes in Latin America. For us, it provides world class scuba diving, sportsfishing, whale-watching, snorkeling with sea lions, kayaking, day cruises and ecotours. You can even swim with whale sharks and sea lions!

The La Paz airport is 10 minutes to the water taxi which takes you from the Malecon to Paraiso del Mar, a private 1700-acre development on the Mogote peninsula. On the property is the 18-hole Arthur Hill designed golf course, named one of the 5 best new international golf courses by Golf Magazine (Jan 2010). On-property transportation is complimentary, as is the water taxi to and from the PDM dock and the Malecon (boardwalk along beach) in the center of town.

Because our condo is on the ocean-side of the building closest to the water, it's quieter and has an unobstructed view of the water during the day and the lights of La Paz across the bay at night.

We like to play golf, go fishing, relax, read, and go out to try new restaurants. We will keep an updated resource list of our favorite restaurants, shops, how to charter a fishing boat, make a tee time, call for on-property transportation.

We want our guests to feel pampered, relaxed and so happy to be staying in our penthouse condo.
